I used to go to arena concerts for $10, $20, $25 bucks. Clapton, Doobie Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Allman Brothers, The Who, late 70s early 80s. This group is the best since my day.
I see that they’re coming to St Augustine in March. But I can’t afford where I want to sit. Where I can afford I can’t see from there. So thanks for this video bc I can see what I’m missing. And it’s a lot 😢 one day. Maybe next year. 😊
After seeing them for the 16th time in Wilmington, NC I made the comment to my posse, "Better than the Allman Brothers live" They are still chewing on that one, lol
Wunderbar!!! Pasaquan is better than ever! A slight bit slower as in concerts 1 Year ago this gives the song its full beautiness and power. Derek is playing with great fun, very versatile. Wonderful voice, drums and team work! Thanks!
When talent is BIGGER than the arena, but deserving of a more intimate venue. And proof positive it didn't take an ALL MAN band of gypsies to unfurl and raise the promise of an Electric Flag to full mast! What a treat, and Thank You! 👏👏
Saw them Saturday night of Red Rocks and that was most amazing show. And yet they just get better every show. These collaborations are pure Gold! Thank you for posting!
@@mitsirrah You Red Rocks and NY ppl are so lucky. You ALWAYS get special shows/two shows. Try being in the middle of the country. They always destroy in St Louis but it isn't the extra special shows you get in those markets.
@@ZChoate I don’t live in either place. I travel to see shows. In fact I’ll be coming to St Louis next summer to catch a show. Sometimes they do special things in small venues. I loved their version of Spanish moon they did in Delaware a few years ago when Fred Tacket and Paul Barrere opened for them and joined in on it.
@@mitsirrah I didn't mean to sound bitter. Apologies. They're always special. But it's crazy that you get Warren Haynes, Norah Jones, and Trey Anastasio in one weekend!
Thanks so much for posting this. This was easily in my top 5 concerts this past year. They pulled out all the stops. The show started on the mellow side but just kept building and building to such great heights. It really doesn't get much better than TTB!! The whole show was phenomenal and what an awesome surprise with all the incredible covers they pulled out. The Seeker in particular was freakin smokin. As was Layla, Bell Bottom blues, Beck's Bolero was out of this world. I don't think anyone can play it better than Derek. And holy smokes.. Ending the show with Sing a simple Song and Higher was the icing on the cake!! Just perfect from beginning to end!! Can't wait for the beacon in March. I hope MSG becomes a regular annual garden party. As much as I love the Beacon there's just something so special about seeing them tear the roof down of the garden in front of 20k people all dancing throughout the entire show.
Can't believe you got this entire show from a great location with equally great audio, this made my day....thank you! I couldn't make it to NYC but went to the Boston show and was hoping they'd release both Garden Party shows on video, seeing that proshot setup in front of the stage tells me we may be in for a treat soon. They didn't have that in Boston and I was sitting 14 rows off stage right.
Wow! thanks so much for sharing your front and center seat (staning) with us! How amazing, especially the closing rendition of Layla, watching Gabe and Trey play to each other as Derek does his slide magic was just beautiful, thank you again for posting this!
I saw them 2nd row once and sound was really good as was this. Would hate to pay for those seats and have that camera guy in front of me! Still great though! :)
Put Trey and Derek together and the magic happens, they bring out the best in each other. Gotta bring your A game. They are both generous with their time and collaborating with other artists. Together, the are just having fun.
@@BoBaswell I was not. I saw the Red Rocks show on UA-cam. Great show but pretty standard for them today. The MSG was unique. That's what made it special and a top show for me.
First time seeing TTB and it will not be my last. Trucks just seems to not only play incredibly by himself, but his support body language just seems to pull great playing out of everyone. I slept on this band too long.
I love TTB, hoping to see them again in Europe soon, scotland hopefully in Edinburgh , but i have a feeling the gig in Glasgow was spoiled by an arse constantly calling out for midnight in harlem, a fair request but the guy was annoying. Top band.❤🏴, I think the guy may have put Susan off Scotland,

So great flow and understanding for the right tones , Trucks is undoubtly the King of slide guitar.
I'm from NY! Drove down for this in the craziest of extreme weather, floods and road closure, but so worth the drive!!! They were amazing!!

I flew in from Oklahoma, just for this show! This was due for TTB. So great, I danced the entire show. This was a big time show!
Baddest Band on the Planet! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing show! We were on the floor about 12 rows back and just WOW! It's the 6th time Ive seen them and the best yet!
Just the greatest band ever. I mean, come on!
Hardest working for sure.

I was in the cheap seats! You either adore this group or you never experienced it. Perfect
Yep. Last December in London I took along a friend who'd never heard them before because I had a spare ticket last minute. Absolutely blew his mind.
OMG this brought tears to my eyes I, sooo thrilled for them!! Phenomenal performance ❤️❤️

Thanks from Poland :)
I see a great doctrementry coming from this couple, and their band family.

I was at both. This one was amazing.

And very true.
I so miss LOCKN for all the collaborations that happened there.
One of the best shows I've been to in a long time! The whole show was outstanding. The Heartbreaker cover was straight fire!
Such a great show! One of the all time classic shows and I’ve been to a few! ❤🎉 Loved the Garden Party!
Sweet , couldn’t make this one but totally Psyched you for you putting it on the Tube !😊

This is awesome. Thanks for posting. I was about 15 feet to your right that night. Magic show.

Baddest band in the land.
We were 6th row center for this one. What an amazing show. Beacon and Warner runs, hear we come. #Swamptalk
Thank you… had an audio stream… They are on fire …🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wow Thank you
I was there too. Great show.
Thanks for this - it was great in the building but this front row perspective is amazing 😍

Unreal show
freaking amazing!!!..thanks for the post
The Force, the ghosts of Duane, Berry, Butch, Alan and Gregg, is definitely strong with this band!

12:30 Cookin'!
Please make this concert available ultimately in Bluray!!!
CAN'T wait to see you again "❤ Swampette"
that Pasquan was ridiculous 😲
Top five of the 50+ shows I've seen.
Where you at the Fox Theatre Atlanta show on 6/24? Curious to get a take on how that show compares? Best I saw this year (including Red Rocks)
@@BoBaswell I was not. I saw the Red Rocks show on UA-cam. Great show but pretty standard for them today. The MSG was unique. That's what made it special and a top show for me.
There was some Freeway Jam in there, too.
Woah! The Seeker was EPIC!
A-MAZING!!!!!!! Saw them last year at The Mann in Philly - so happy to find their MSG performance here!!!!
Thanks! You were very close wow
TTB fans now enjoy Ornette Colman jazz mixed with Statesboro blues and the signature swamp raga sound machine!! Path blazing!
First time seeing TTB and it will not be my last. Trucks just seems to not only play incredibly by himself, but his support body language just seems to pull great playing out of everyone. I slept on this band too long.
Saw them 7-18 this summer...their tight transitions remind me of Steely Dan...Blues /Rock
the best of the rest!!
No shit in the garden that night!!!!!!!!!!!😊
Hall of fame here they go.
See you there go cleveland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
♥♥3
And the camera man got paid?..I would've done it. No charge! Great upload! ❤
Wow you had some awesome seats
Haven't seen Derek play something other than his SG in quite a while. And yeah, what in the world is up with the camera guy constantly moving.
A lot of videos it looked like they were having backline audio trouble all night.
I love TTB, hoping to see them again in Europe soon, scotland hopefully in Edinburgh , but i have a feeling the gig in Glasgow was spoiled by an arse constantly calling out for midnight in harlem, a fair request but the guy was annoying. Top band.❤🏴, I think the guy may have put Susan off Scotland,
Who wants to meet up in Tulsa, June14, 2024? Tulsa Theater.
They're peaking how can it get tighter?
I mean the best R&R band currently touring can.t get a mention from the press? What's that about?
Any T&T will tell you Susan is driving the train and Derek sounds horn
Billy Joel is a creep, love you Trey!!!
Sorry you had a camera guy sliding back n forth all eve that would have spoiled it for me .......
