You picked a good one, to be sure. This one so far is the best imo, as I have finished all of them except this one. It seems they have tuned and tweaked much of the old systems and made them much better. Though I DO miss the char world from 5. Now you just vote up stuff like move, throw distance, counters, ect instead of the way they did it before. Its quicker and easier (maybe annoying at times though) but char worlds mini board game was never boring for me.
The skills, the maid with the 2 separate turns skill, and getting to use an item with using a turn and the sage skill of double action, land decimation, and decent stats.
Historically, the best classes have always been the ones with the better coverage AOEs since by the very late end game all characters will be at max stats so their damage are pretty much the same. We have come a long way since D4 or 5 with ranged 3x3s being kind of core (which they had to nerf desco due to it since her ultimate ability went from a 3x3 with good reach to a 3-3 double line with the same reach). Kind of glad that hasn't really changed since you mentioned classes that either have full board coverage or heavy single target bursts, and ones that enable the classes with full board coverage or heavy bursts lol.
I like my Neko Girl, and getting an extra attack during enemies low hp, because she's strong enough to nearly one shot most, if not all enemies, then finish them off for free, using a "free cost" skill as well. I'm biased too though, kitty has always been my fav monster class. Especially now that they give them Luffy's "Rush" attack as a skill, it's hilarious!
WAR LADY rules. She was the only unit in part 6 I used for all content. No traps equipments at all. I put all resources into her. Didn't bother with any other units. My plan for part 7 as well. 😎😎
So essentially they dissimanated the sage and maids skills into 2 different generic classes. The sage (D.5) had a skill (multi-attack) that increased the attack by 1 (now paladin class "valkyrie order") and the maid had the skill "afternoon tea" which is now the Maiko's "encouragement" and as we know War Lady is from D.6. So they dissected 5 and 6 bought a blender and made 7, still looks awesome but sometimes funny when you look objectively. Good observations when deep diving into the classes.
Those 5 characters except the female thief is new since I still playing D6 complete recently. But feel it's very broken... And also probably very popular in the PVP I think. But it's very interesting to do.
When I played Disgaea 5; one of my developed strategies used a Flora Beast and at least 2 Female Armor Knights, with the latter 2 using only defense. Because the Flora Beast and Female Armor Knight's unique Evilities synergize really well and I never bothered to use the reincarnation system or the methods to increase uniques, nor bothered to looked up an efficient method to grind levels and mana. This enabled the main characters to escape single target damage from bosses like Void Dark, a few times a turn.
now that i farmed 1bill HL in demo guess i should get started on 4 other characters with max classes. skipped 6 but 7 is making my disgaea addiction reappear. looks like im gonna put another 1000hrs+ in a Disgaea game
A Billion should be enough to get you off the ground, how much RP do you have? this close to launch i would strongly suggest looking at my "5 things to farm" video and my automate Gacha video as those 2 will be infinitely more helpful than maxing some classes now
@@Primalliquid92 i will have to check since i used quite a bit of RP farming the hl but i believe around 500mill. Sorry, double comment (engagement!), are you able to abuse Demonic Intelligence / Auto Battle to grind skill experience? Like set up a "bad" or simple DI that just causes a character to do something infinitely until they run out of SP like use a healing or buffing skill on themselves or have a Thief / Bandit use their full map steal skill.
Hey I really like your videos, but I think you could go into more details in some of your videos. Like for example in this one, when and how do you unlock these classes? :) Or in the first Demo Farming Guides, where do I best get Pirilika to level 30 to get the needed Evilty, which was also missing but answered in the comments. ;)
For leveling I've been going to the last stage in chapter 1 and staying near spawn (Enemies don't come to you) pass the bill for 3x exp, buy as many hard candies as you can, eat one, end your turn, eat one, end your turn, eat one end your turn, you level up ever other candy, i've got a full party of 100's right now.
This is a grave-digging comment, but if anyone read this; If you just want to clear the challenge for completion. Change the D.I: of the Witch doctor to use Deathwish on any enemies with status effects. Then change the 2nd command to use Cursed Miasmia on enemies who don't have status effects. Since it's in order they will prioritize Deathwish. This will make the witch doctor apply statuses, then if a status is present they will use Deathwish to instantly kill the target. It ain't good enough for a one-turn clear, but it gets a victory 100% of the time, with only four changes to the original setup.
Rifle Demon is probably a champ. Cruel Laser has pretty absurd damage for the area it has, and while it's not the BEST, Holy Smokes is a passable base evility. Star is rarely resisted, too. Plus, their expanded range means that they're even more versatile and flexible for all kinds of setups. Flora Demon is still the goat for actually getting through the main game. Not like it's especially difficult or anything, but if you ever do any sort of challenge run they quickly come out on top in most games. And Nekomata is probably the best monster for the time you get it, and it can absolutely carry the main game for you. But, all said, Monsters still are probably lagging a bit. As a monster aficionado, it hurts
I really wish there was a guide or wiki or something going through all the classes so i can see what unlocks and what does what. this is my first disgaea game so its a bit overwhelming

@@Primalliquid92 I understand how to level them. I guess what I more specifically meant was what is the hard cap times, expected final outcome, does class completion matter and outside of leveling them is there anything you do in between reincarnations?
Im a newbie to disgaea. A question; can I change the class of the main cast? I like the characters, but I think I read in the help file that I cant change unique classes? Does that means my main cast are stucked in one class? If Im able to pass the bill and change the class, will my unique original class be lost and never recovered?
You both can and can't. In the Dark Assembly, there's a (I believe) 100 Mana bill that lets you change your class. Passing this lets all characters change their "equipped" class in the Status screen. What this means in practice is that any class proficiency you earn goes towards your equipped class. Leveling up the equipped class allows you do 2 things: 1. inherit the evilities that any generic unit of that class could learn at that rank; and 2. gain increases to your base stats based on how many classes you've mastered. When you master all classes on a single character, then reincarnate, then level back to 9999, the character will have roughly 10 million in every stat.
Does Valkyrie Order stack with Attack +1 weapon skills (Swing About?) so it essentially doubles the amount of attacks or just adds one attack onto the end of it?
why do you have so many warriors. The problem with full strike is its so weak. I can't even kill a chest or innocent or level sphere. G power is so weak. The heavy knight is an important class. She is tough can whomp with an axe and toss the farthest. Valvatorez and Fuka are crucial can lvl good without. Susien is crucial against generals
False there's no good classes in disgaea 7 once you cap the growth rate to 300% to all stats or whatever is the maximum percent is. Elite 4 for best training and with juice bar it's even easier to max out stats. Just pick your favorite. My favorite is female gunslinger because of nostalgia reason phantom brave merchant she's my strongest character.
The guy made a whole video about why there are good classes. It's pretty silly to hand-wave away all the unique and overpowered things these classes can do by saying, "Yeah but all classes can max stats." Okay, so everyone can hit just as hard in a single hit. Great, but these classes allow you to do that 12+ times in a single turn with a single unit.
Base evility and unique skills are the most important things for comparing generic classes, since those can't be replaced. You CAN get away with using basically anything, but that doesn't mean they're equally good. As someone who has primarily used monsters since Disgaea 1, I am keenly aware of this.
Baal has several pronunciations. Often the modern religious versions of entity names are pronounced wrong as they were meant to emphasize an innate evilness to scare people from old and pagan religions.
