Can you suggest any solution bcz i have maono pd200x and the inner ring of the shock mount has broke it's basically useless now. The replacement mount cost similar to the microphone itself if not more.

now i dont know if you can do that, what i do know is that xlr isnt nessacarily better than usb, both sound amazing, although if youre using xlr you have slightly more versatillity and some interfaces like the maonocaster e2 have eq meaning you can make the microphone sound better, but you can do that with a vst pluggin with usb. in my opinion, if youre on a budget, use usb, but if you want more versatillity and youre willing to spend around 150-250 dollars more for a budget interface, use xlr
Am8 my bro, it sounds better in recording especially when you do his settings. I plan on getting one too once i get money for it, i'm a lil short in my budget xd
@@Orcomi what do you mean it is all plastic? It is a strong type of plastic tho, probably uses abs plastic. If the body is all you care about, just get the maono.
@loydfrancis3326 it's not ALL I care about, but it is still an important factor since I my nephew messes with my stuff a lot, and I think the mic quality difference isn't that big, that's why I'm probably going with the maono. Thank you for your advice
Hey, I know I'm replying late but no , it's not great. The microphone is good for podcasts/ normal talking but for singing the sound will be to flat. I could get into the details but hopefully my answer will be helpful even without it.
@@Robotti18 Bro, the sound differences between the two are marginal. I bought the AM8 on Amazon while they were on sale ($66CAD) and that was $45 dollars difference with PD200x. It comes down to your preference. I think the AM8 sounds better and clearer.
