So I’m currently building this model myself, but I can’t understand how tamiya sold this model on the market knowing that the canopy parts don’t fit. If you follow the manual you won’t be able to fit the canopy parts because they simply don’t fit in the order they recommend.
This might be a big claim of course but right now I did It the same way as you did by simply leaving the canopy parts off. Thanks.

I completely agree and encountered the same problem with my model. I'm thankful that the rear canopy is thin enough to sit properly in the open position.
