My parents used to go to Thunderbird for date nights back in the 60's. They said it used to be at the edge of the city back then. I now live on Dobrinsky.
@@minischism5438 The Thunderbird changed ownership a few years ago. Thankfully the new owners have done their best to keep the same decor, ambience and menu. My in-laws built a house 2 blocks north of the Thunderbird in 1974 and said that everything north of them was an open field.
this is my neighborhood, I’m a youtuber too and you went right by my house. Im on Templeton Ave. Cheers, New Sub ✌️😊. Sorrentos has really large portions!
It’s easy to pronounce, like Princess Leia except say lee la, not lee a ! That was the bar we used to always go to when we where younger, used be Silverados , I could just walk in
Haha! Promise to get it right from now on! And bloody hell, Silverado’s! I never put two and two together. I’d been to Silverado’s when I first came to Winnipeg in 1998 and never knew it was there. Thanks for the reminder!
@@minischism5438 no problem at all ! It used to not look like that , it was two story before with two bars connected, was also the diamond club at one time and zak’s or and club taboo? But you could go from 1 bar to the other without going outside or paying cover again, it’s current state I’ve never been inside
You’re killing me! Haha
I grew up on Burrin Ave back in the 70’s and 80’s and I love your videos.
Cheers from Red Deer, AB.
I've lived in the North End for 45 years! I do most of my shopping in the McPhillips/Leila triangle.

I bet the Thunderbird has not changed its decor since then. Hard to believe how much the city has spread (and still is)!

Map at the end looks like a thing of beauty 🤌🤙
Thank you! Thanks, too, for watching until the end, LOL!

Great neighbourhood! If I lived there I’d never leave Tavern United! I’ll check out your channel!
I live in Amber Trails, and my house backs onto Templeton. I eat at Tavern United about once every 4-6 weeks.
We buy alot of Santa Fe and Jeep Cherokee here. Don't know why.

You Should Try Four Crowns Restaurant & Bar.
You bet! It’s on my list for when I walk Mynarski!

Don’t go out at night in the north end
You butchered the Leila pronunciation lol, it’s pronounced like lee la actually, and I was around there the other day too lol
Oops! Next time I’m there I’ll get it right (or closer).
😂You might want to take on a second and third language if you want to be able to interact with neighbors.
