Agostini is simply untouchable: he got 162 podiums out of 190 races in the world championship. He won 10 (yes 10) TT Isle of Man, too. I'm Italian and proud of Rossi, but he's nowhere near Ago.
@@Team-fabulous It doesn’t matter. It’s the same championship. MotoGP is just a rebranded name of the premier class Grand Prix motorcycles that had already been running for 50+ years.
Agostini was great, but he had it very easy, especially when Honda quit in 1967. After that he was the almost only rider with a 4-cilinder bike which was fast in that period. The other guys had only 1-cilinder bikes like the Norton. So in my opinion Rossi was a better rider with more capable riders.

@@Team-fabulous Not entirely. MotoGP/500cc are both the premier class of the FIM Moto GP racing championship that had been running since 1949. The championship’s premier class was renamed MotoGP, when the regulations changed from an all 2 stroke 500cc category, to a mix of both 2 stroke and the new 990 4 stroke. In the end it’s just a rename as the FIM decided to phase out 2strokes with new regs.
@jbp515 I am More than aware of the change's and regs. If you study them in depth you will see the format is completely different. Just because it's the pinnacle of the sport doesn't make it the same. Mick Doohan was quoted ' I'd be insulted if I was called a MotoGP legend '. ...
@@Team-fabulous We’re still talking about the premier class of moto GP racing. Just very different bikes with different regs. Just like Formula 1 had different eras, where cars changed drastically based off new regulations. The racing back on the early 90s with Rainey, Schwantz, Doohan, Lawson, Gardener, Cadalora was something special 😊
Giacomo Agostini was world champion 15 times, 8 in the 500 class and 7 in the 350 class; winning both titles in the years '68 to '72.
Freddie Spencer won 1985 the 250' and the 500' title in the same year, no one after him ever did this 🤘
Italia grande nei piloti e nei costruttori.
E poi lá Ducati prende il PILOTA PIU DISONESTO DELLA STORIA DELLA MOTO GP
John Surtees was also a formula 1 world champion!
The only one to do it
WOW !!!
That's legendary, no other human will ever have both titles, it's impossible to do that these days, Surtees the only one.
Ago won 15 World Championships including 175cc once, 6 X350cc and 8 X 500cc. 1963 to 1975 and he can still ride at 82 years old.
Agostini number one forever!
Mir... it's still incredible to see him on this list. No offence for him, but...
John Surtees the G.O.A.T
4x MotoGP
1x F1
Long live the King of 2-wheels and 4-wheels racing
It seems that Marc Marquez can still add another world championship, considering he is still competitive
With Ducati lenovo, he could beat Agostini. He got the best team and best bike, there is no way he's losing in 2025
Rossi adesso e preoccupato...... Per Márquez ancora attivo..😮
I don’t know of anyone else who was as successful racing cars AND motorcycles as John Surtees
Rossi is the GOAT
Giacomo agostini is the GOAT
Márquez will surpass him
Márquez clears
That why Rossi didnt win nothing after Marc became MotoGP rider? 😂😂😂😂
@@Waylord-g7mim not fan of rossi but when mm coming rossi was almost 35 years old in 2013.
Wayne Rainey was fabulous!
Only John Surtees world champions MotoGP and F1
Surtees never raced in MotoGP....

Till 2010 every driver had either english or italian as native language 😳
Wait, Surtees????
Also formula 1 world champion
Dari tahun 1975 sampai tahun 2021 pabrikan Japan mendominasi motogp, kecuali sekali saja lepas di tahun 2007 lewat Ducati nya Stoner
Jarno Saarinen 1973?
Saarinen won only 2 races in the 500cc in 1973. A great rider.
Dani Pedrosa should be there...
Kevin Schwantz?
En el 93,1 titulo.
Rossi got what he wanted above his team mate they built the bike around him
