9'4" vertical and a 13' wingspan?? This guy is gonna be insane
I think those numbers are a little off ;)
Great young man. Once he gets in the weight room he will be scarey.
Willkommen im Team! Ich freue mich sehr, dass du für uns spielst. Gehen Sie groß rot!
Dude looks like a bball forward or a TE. Being a grown man could help.
Go Big Red🏈 Welcome David
don't know if he will pan out, BUT he's got a man's work ethic that's a hell of a start
Whats up with the hate in the comments? He is listed at 6'7-6'8 260lbs. He has time to grow before hitting college and he will probably reshirt his first year to bulk up more.
Agreed and to learn the scheme and more about the mental side. Sounds like his play in 11v11 is limited
No hate, he just looks more like a tight end.
little early to tell how he'll develop, could be a defensive lineman or end with his agility. Who knows GBR!
People who can’t do, talk crap. It’s the nature of the internet. Lol
I think the biggest concern for him is that fact that he's only played 4 years of football and it was all in Germany. Look at the skepticism people have of 8-man players coming out of Nebraska and Iowa going up against Florida and Texas kids in college. But this does seem like a low risk, high reward situation.
This kid is amazing! Like those NBA players back in the day who worked second jobs before deciding to try out on a whim. I think I've heard of husker stories like this too, back in the day. So cool. They must've discovered him recently then. What a story. Congrats David! Willkommen!
He came to the satellite camp the Nebraska staff ran in Texas, was offered on the spot.
Seems pretty athletic. Good luck!
I wouldnt want to see this guy coming at me full speed if i was a QB. And four years of eligibility!!! Hes built kind of like a basketball player. Looks like he could play about anywhere. I hope he really excels here at Nebraska!
I like this guy! He makes me smile. GBR!!
That mullett at 3:48 is majestic AF!
He's got good feet & good hands...as long as he can protect our QB's and open holes...welcome to the Husker Family. GBR!
I like him-looks like a raw talent but has good speed/quickness. Rhule and co love that. you can teach skill
Seems to be very likable and intelligent. I hope that he's as good an addition as the coaches seem to think he will be.
I bet this dude ends up surprising us! GBR!
Welcome to Nebraska!!! GBR!!
hot damn, lets go.
He's coming for the Bierocks or Runza's ! Dude could eat a dozen easily. Welcome to the BIG RED DAVID!
He has a very positive attitude and that right there will get you a long ways. He isn't afraid of working as he works to not have his parents have to pay everything for him. I for one am very excited to have him commit and wish him the very best. Go Big Red!!!!!!!!
Welcome aboard good sir
Should be a good player.
Good luck man. Seriously
Outstanding young man! Well spoken and athletic!!
What a stud.
Welcome to the team. GBR!!
Hell yeah
Nice interview. Hope in 4 or 5 years it ends at Nebraska with a nice career!
I agree he looks more like a tight end, but if he can put on 20-30 pounds of good weight, he looks athletic enough to be a good tackle.
Awesome!!! Congrats!! 🍾 🇩🇪
It will take him a few years to put on the weight and build the muscle he would need. The question is whether he is too far behind to catch up. I wish him success.
The coaches seem to like ran, coachable talent so they must feel they can make a solid player out of him.
Well, the coaches know better than you.
Lol he's 265 with no fat he's not going to have a problem adding muscle once he hits the training table
Welcome aboard Borat.
loll i hope he isnt Borat ..lolll or we are wasting a schoolie ship.. But would get National news with a crazy nut job..
😂😂😂
Wrong CONTINENT. More like welcome Flula.
WTH is wrong with you? Show some class.
Dude is gonna be like thors hammer vs quarterbacks
Huge Frame!
This dude looks like he's 35
We German's age like rusting metal. But he did say he was offered to UMiss in 2020.
@michaelt312 I believe they said he is 22. Works for me, more mature and knows what he wants.
Well if he has eligibility left 😂
If he puts on good weight he could be dominate. I like the way he moves and his size.
Im excited!
Welcome home.
How can you go wrong with a 30ft wingspan? Lol
NO ONE HASSLE THE HOFF..!
Nothing wrong with developing gifted athletes
Wondering if they are considering him as a defensive edge rusher??
He’s coming as an offensive tackle right now
And we will call him Night Rider!
This is a long project. But one with only upside and no downside
If he played socker I bet he would be one heck of a kicker
Big red is the team to beat this year. I see them possibly going undefeated but if not they’ll lose no more than 1 game. I smell cfb playoff
He’s that big and has had a European diet. Get him on weight training and diet of a Nebraska football player and he is gonna be a monster.
Defensive end?
bro said he had a wingspan of 30 feet LOL
13 feet he said, not 30
@@gtavguru1145 he said 13 then after said 30
@@gtoz22 his accent made it sound like 30 but it was most definitely 13 every time he said it
@@gtavguru1145 even 13 feet is still laughable
Is he for sure an OL or could he play DL also? He’s built like a tight end
He will start out at OL. That is a current need on the roster.
I thought he was a DL guy.
Probably be a TE. Unless he puts on 50 lbs of muscle. I could see Nebraska's strength coach doing it in a year though. Hutmacher dropped like 50 for wrestling and then he's putting on 35 back for football.
Nobody puts on 50 lbs of muscle in a year unless they never trained before and take roids at the same time.
@@aroncampos5720As an Oline man, he wouldn’t be putting on 50 lbs of muscle. 50 lbs through a good nutrition and strength program is realistic though.
@@aroncampos5720 the guy is super lean. Have him put on 20 lbs of muscle and then just 30 lbs of bulk.
@@Hunter-dj9ld yeah i know. Just tired of people making ludicrus statements like "gain 50lbs of muscle in one year".
This guy could be a good TE or DE. I don't see OT unless he puts on a ton of weight.
He'll RS and add 50 lbs over the next couple years. He's a walk on so low risk.
wait a year or 2 and you'll see it
Wish 25 hours/week at the drug store paid my bills...
I bet this dude plays tho- good for him. GBR
We just recruited a guy with a 401K who’s late to pick up his 8th grader.
ich ben grown man
D Line might be a better fit
Heil yeah! Let’s go
Can't wait to see him develop!! GBR!!!
6/4/2024. Quiz, A Germany One? Solve it.
lol brah he looks like hes 32 rofl
"brah"... "rofl"... What, are you 9? Go to bed, Kid.
🌽🏈🌽🎈🌽☠️🌽
He looks and sounds like a Sacha Baron Cohen character.
This dude has been playing against German players. American players are just built different man. To be honest he probably won’t ever play a down in the next 2-3 years.
That's not how that works.
Zero chance this dude plays tackle in the B1G. Maybe TE, if he can catch. Walk on I hope??
He is 6-7, 257 without an ounce of bad weight on his body. His wingspan in 6-11. Be will easily get to 300.
Im scratching my head here..😂😂😂
we will take him
Better chance than you
So provide your credentials for making such a statement? Couch potatoe doesn't count....
Looks athletic. Needs to put some meat on his bones to be a Big 10 tackle. That's it!
Can't we get the elite yet? Why more project players? How do we compete with the big boys if this is the best we can do ? Just curious.
Rhule has made 2 star players 2nd round picks. Maybe, just maybe, they know more than you do.
Who ever said this is the best we can do? It's June 4th my guy relax.
Coach Prime vs Coach Rhule…Prime trying for instant success. Rhule trying to build a foundation and grow it. It’ll be interesting to see where each program is at in the next 4 years.
