7:39 Ahhh! This pose! I know about it! While Froppy does do that cause she's a frog and it makes her look cute, this is also the pose for a classic Japanese ghost, specifically a yurei. Yanagi's hero costume is modelled after what a yurei would traditionally wear (white kimono)! Since her power is poltergeist, she went with Japanese ghost aesthetic lol.
Just to add for those that are interested! Horikoshi really puts thought into his characters if what I coincidentally looked up is true. The character Yanagi Reiko of Class B might be named after Yanagi Yurei, the actor! And surprise, surprise, he's is the main character in Japanese horror films featuring "yurei", such as Ju-On: The Curse, Joyuu-rei, and Kuchisake Onna!
Thing is that not every character needs development. As that would be inefficent for the story anyway to keep the plot moving. Some are meant to stay background characters and side characters and that's fine as the case with many story while still getting moments to shine. Some people get too attached to a good character design. Don't know ANY anime that is in a school setting that develops all the characters. But these characters will be of use since we are *familar enough* with them to know their quirks so they can help out in large battle (as we seen from the recent manga arc some characters from class B were there) and they will be a part of the new generation of heroes needed for the improvement of society.

My hero definitely has slow moments but since I enjoy the characters and their interactions the slow moments don't bother me. Its really only because I have to wait each week and when not much happens it can be more frustrating
Pretty sure aizawas scar is from the nomu from season 1 and dekus arm scar is from the infinite one for all against chisaki and the one in his hand is from the sports festival
Aizawa's backstory is in My Hero Acadamia Vigilantes. A side story that takes place roughly 5 or 6 years before the events of MHA. Not written by Horikoshi, but the series goes indept about the hidden side of hero society. There's an arc where it goes back to Aizawa when he was in school and what led him to be the Aizawa's we see today. Reason for this because the main series will briefly cover it but not in full. Some manga readers who doesn't read it got upset because they didn't want to read Vigilantes but it's the only way to get his backstory. MHA Vigilantes also covers the quirk boosting drug in full details as the series focuses on it. And as I enjoyed this arc, sadly this is the last wholesome arc we will have. And I agree with Sherm... people tend to forget that MHA is a school base anime and tend to only focus on the fight but forget that they go to school. Horikoshi have a lot of characters and really can't develop them all at the same time but those who get their moment we will see and that's what this arc is for... to develop side characters as the story focus more than just Deku. But... the next arc I am waiting for.
The scar on Deku's arm isn't just from the 1000%? 1,000,000%? smash. It's also from after that fight when his arm got caught in Dabi's flame blast after they caught up with Mr. Compress.
Loved the reaction, hope Terrence will enjoy the next arc more but I respect his opinion and he's not hating it just to hate it He had his own criticism SHEEEESH

I mean, I don't rly get why people get all chafed when they show more heroes fight and develop or there are some info eps that are some casual discussion, because this shit would be boring without any background info or that "Chevy engine" build up to the dramatic stuff. I personally feel like they do a really good job of giving you the needed info and then getting you all pumped up before hitting you with the really good action scenes. Saying the non-fight shit is boring is like saying you want another bleach - you know that anime literally no one watches for its plot and conversations and only cares about the fights because its writing blows - that shits a joke n a half and you'd be lying through your teeth lol.
Honestly I LIKED this: I wanted to have an arc just focus on all the students and to see what they coudl all do. I get MIdoriya needs to be prioritized, as are the secondary characers, but i DO like to see some of the secondary Class 1A kids get more love. AND of course to finally see what all the Class B kids can do. Also iv'e read the manga... you're gonna treasure this "lighter" moment...
@@mr.games5883 Yeah it felt drawn out in the manga but in the anime with animation and color it was fun. Also in the manga it was one chapter every week. One chapter is like only 1/2 or 1/3 of an episode so it took ages for the arc to finish.
This was a good arc to show the student progress. Especially thinking back to just season 2 which was the last time the students fought each other in matches.
One small thing: if immobilizing a character on the stage counts as a capture, if you can't move them to jail, shouldn't Class B have won round 3? Iida was trapped and couldn't get out, after all. In fact if they're going for that, I think it would've been a bit batter to have Uraracka and Mina stick ALL THREE of htem to Mineta's traps, just to emphasize how strong Mineta's traps are.
No you need to put them to jail for it to count as a capture. The reason they didn't need to also put Yui in the cell is because they already had 4 in the cell, which is the win condition.
