Saint Maximilian Kolbe was a Franciscan priest who founded the Militia Immaculata and the City of Mary in Poland at the beginning of the 20th Century. His great love for Our Lady and his recommendation of devotion to her remains a powerful inspiration for us all. He spent time as a missionary in Japan and when he returned to Poland he spoke out against the Nazi persecution of the Jews and of the Catholic Church. Saint Maximilian Kolbe was arrested by the Nazis and sent to Auschwitz Concentration Camp where he gave a moving example of charity, prayer and love. Amidst this suffering Saint Maximilian Kolbe radiated such love for God and those around him that he was able to leave us a great witness of hope, very relevant for our troubled society today. Part of Saint Maximilian Kolbe’s apostolate and the Militia Immaculata was to pray for those who were freemasons. This new film on his life touches upon freemasonry, World War II and a pivotal moment in world history. Our unique film style has been internationally praised for not only presenting facts and biographical information but a prayerful and spiritual film experience. Pope St. John Paul II named St. Maximilian Kolbe ‘The Martyr of Charity’.
