    Man up, you miserable pair! Your negativity is making these videos unwatchable. Less waffle and get on with the job because your progress is woeful! I know this message will probably be deleted because you are so precious!

      If we annoy you so much why are you even watching and then taking the time to moan about it.
      Just don’t watch and we don’t delete comments unless they are particularly vile .
      Your comment is on the mild side and actually makes us laugh . 😗

    So warmed to see you saved the spider, I have now retired from the building trade after 52 years and like you saved what creatures I could, and must say taken loads of ribbing for it, but feel so much better for doing it, well done chaps, proud of you, keep it up, may all creatures hope you are doing the work around their habitat😊 regards JC

    I use my wet dry vacuum to pick the water on jobs like this! Just a suggestion from Utah , in the states. Not much rain here though. Love the channel guys, cool to see dad and son working together! I had that pleasure with my dad before he got Parkinson's . Enjoy it while you can! Marry that girl and bring her home already, travel is cutting in your life!

    Super job, it is wonderful to see how a building rises out of the mayhem and confusion of the demolition in such a limited space.

    Its called the, `Building - game` because that is exactly what it is.....a right old game.
    Not much easy about it either, just one continuous long grinding slog.
    Deliveries are late - or cancelled. Blokes do not turn up - when they say they will. Clients changing their minds about things. Van lets you down. Weather is shite. Endless paperwork for V.A.T, H.M.R.C and your accountant. Planning approvals & permissions etc. etc.
    Sometimes you just wonder why you bother......

    • @SteveAndAlexBuild
      @SteveAndAlexBuild  8 місяців тому +3

    • @bricklayersworldwithandy6277
      @bricklayersworldwithandy6277 8 місяців тому +2

      Kin hell, yep wonder why we do it, I can just about put up with the pain at the moment but paperwork has always been a problem with me. Grafters seem to become institutionalised and find it difficult to retire properly, ime a prime example but I enjoy what I do but keeping on working will shorten your life which is not good.

    I'd have thought it would have been worth buying a piece of downpipe to direct the roof water into the yard gulley beside the porch.
    Choose thebright colour and the the other guys should buy it off you?
    Glad you got through it anyway.

    Absolutely nothing is straight forward, ever ! Take this as an example.. my missus said the other day that she had a problem closing the door to the downstairs loo, that's odd i thought but left it until she really got the ache about it so, after she'd gone to bed, i decided to have a look & sure enough the door had dropped from the top hinge.. easy fix, no problem, piece of piss ! Was it bollocks, i couldnt find a screwdriver anywhere & i really didn't want to bang & crash about looking for one so what did i end up doing? I used the screwdriver bit on my swiss army knife .. did the job but where the bloody hell was me screwdriver? Nope, aint got a clue . I think our ghost has been moving stuff around again ( you think I'm joking !), i can never find anything in this house, when i was wallpapering the hall, i was on my own so no one to wind me up, i did me pencil line on the wall, put the pencil on the table, turned away & when i turned back it was gone, completely gone & i had to get another pencil & ive not seen the original one since !
