It's weird because I feel dakes are too. In a different way of course. I wonder if it's something specifically worked on in new york or something happening in Cornells room?
Both are great competitors, humble, hard workers, they represent themselves, their family name, the sport and thw USA and seem like genuinely good human beings...im lucky to watch them wrestle
@@Rickyliftsthings yea cuz if u think about it, setting up for a wrestling event is a big thing to do---laying out mats, sound system, food vendors, advertising etc
Joe Reed it’s in zains hometown which also so happens to be the in the biggest wrestling state in the country, that gym would be more full for a match if it could be
*Retherford fails to place* Honestly, I feel like Yianni is better internationally than Zain. He has wins over Muszukajev and Punia, on top of a a number of other wins against world-class opponents.
What about Zain almost bearing rashidov one the pound for pound best to be honest if he cleans up his freestyle he’d be a world champ soon also rashidov would just smash Yianni
@@Thefatcat125 I doubt Rashidov would "smash" Yianni. Yianni has the european style of wrestling, and he has the funk. Honestly he reminds me of a slightly more funkier Aliyev.
TheSkyWookie also got to look at the times he’s lost due to weird scrambles he’s made for example Joey McKenna who’s not near the top five guys at 65’s level
Two classy, skilled young guys sell out entire arena for one match. Neither one of them had to try to break a kid’s leg with a Kimora lock or put on a fake tough guy persona to sell tickets or have people interested when marketed properly. Imagine that, Flo? They couldn’t do this with the entire team trials back in the day in a high school gym.
@Mitchell Heath Flo loves to promote the dirtbags of wrestling such as Downey and DeSanto because they do degenerate shit like break people’s legs with jiu jitsu submissions and put on fake, cheesy hard ass characters because it gets them page clicks. Back in the 80’s when the USA had some of the best wrestlers ever (Smith, Baumgartner, etc.) we couldn’t fill a high school gym for the entire team trials. These two did it on their own for one match, which is awesome.
@@e2go you sound like Sontos and Downey both bought you a nice dinner, got you tipsy on wine, then took you to pound town. Next day, then the next. Day after day they never called. Now you are bitter at with a ax to grind. Grow up.
I question Zains strength. I see Yianni come out of things are slide thru holds where .. it just doesn't make sense. You got both legs, Yianni will just swing one leg out. Or, he's on his ass and just sit up or slide to the side like he's not being held
My point was proven in the international match Yanni had. I can't remember the guy, but when he was in the same position.. he finished it. He just got tired
@Dymond Piper No idea, but I don’t think the Penn State staff gives Flo the behind-the-scenes-access they want for things like this, and who can blame them?
Yanni’s hips are simply amazing. To not just defend some of those retherfords shots, but then actually have a chance at scoring is unbelievable.

Yeah, this is some really good content from Flo. Good job guys, this is a real treat to the fans.
0:29 that dude is yianna in disguise lol listen to his voice

Go yianni ! Best wishes from Greece.
What a great vid. Thanks for this.
You are welcome!
That many ppl for 1 match right!?! Crazy!! Any exhibition matches in addition to fill the time and make it worth the cash and gas to go??
If ya truly love the sport this is like Disneyland
@@Rickyliftsthings oh for sure but yeah maybe an exhibition or 2 would be kool
Joe Reed true

Why Kyle Dake walking out like his match next😂
Dake always walks like that, just to make you, Bravo_Nate, ask a stupid question... and it worked! 🤣

TheSkyWookie to be honest he relies on his funk to much which sometimes ends up bitting him at the end
@@Thefatcat125 i would beg to differ, considering the number of times he scores and wins matches in both folkstyle and freestyle using funk

Yiannis arms long as hell lmao

Michael Hayes I understand what you’re saying but legs are stronger than the arms.
Zain is as strong as anyone pound for pound.

Michael Hayes Grabbing opponents ankles after clearly taken down is BS and should be outlawed. Sissy style. Ugly
mike miller lol. Great argument there.
Bro getting a shot and take down on yianni is near impossible
Gavin Dawson only people to do it I know lol in the tourney though is Joey McKenna, Jayden Eierman and maube Bryce Meredith I forgot.
Dang, where does Yianni get those shoes?

Lol why was there nothing for Zain at the beginning?

Go yianni
Low-key say bro
Does this mean he goes to the Olympic?
No, it was for worlds this year. The olympic qualification process is next year!
And he didnt do shit
Zain will not qualify us for Olympic
