The amount of Empathy that Yianni shows for Jordan is incredible. Mad Respect for Yianni. He FEELS the pain of his friend's loss, to him. Wow. Deep. This was beautiful @FloWrestling
Well said and exactly what I was thinking as well. "Teamwork makes the dream work" and Jordan Oliver gets a lot of credit with the success of his training partner. What a beautiful video to watch! This video was nicely done and the points you're making DL are even more awesome than the wrestling itself - which was pretty amazing! This is the kind of thing that makes UA-cam so awesome.
Yanni is going to be a legend of wrestling one day. I have gotten to meet and learn a ton from him back in highschool when he wrestled in the Roc... Always gonna root for him👏
Yiannis's main weapon is his flexibility you can push him so far out of position but he remains comfortable. The kid is shooting singles with his damn foot above his head it blows my mind
@@nathanbishop2779 you didn’t read what he said. it’s true that his offense is based off of countering shots. it’s not a bad thing it’s just true. JO is better at taking shots from space and on the feet.
His shot defenses are the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching wrestling for 25 years. Every time some one takes a shot on him, I feel bad for any hope of a successful finish that may wander into his opponent’s mind.
Best sport for kids. Learn hard work and the taste of glory and bitter defeat. Done every sport and wrestling is more exhausting than all others combined.
Love me some YD action... this video is incredible. Looking forward to the Cliff Keen Tourney and already have my days off from work. Everybody is welcome to Vegas first week of December of course!
As i watched Yianni and Jordan wrestle i was wishing there was a way neither had to lose , but as thats not possible i knew either way USA was going to be a winner. Such class.
He is not wrestling this year for Cornell but he back next year at 149 or 157. He is going to whip every one ass he faces next year. He will be next 4 time college wrestling champion like Kyle Dake at 4 different weight class
Im so pumped for him! Dreaming about the past, but at least i get to watch people like him! Happy to see incredible positivity in this video, it definitely portrays their love for wrestling and the community well. @flowrestling
It's all good - the Olympics will be fun to track. Although I'll be glad when these great young American wrestlers can get back to focusing on folkstyle.
So im not gonna lie i am new to wrestling i have been doing some history watching but i love finding the history of stuff is flo the best youtube channel?? Were can i find wrestling history. You guys should do a wrestling jeopardy i think that would be fun and i am wondering if anyone can direct me to any documentary or podcasts?? Please?? Also maybe dumb question but so if you in 155 class you must weigh the 155 before the fight but they seem to do weighins day before so say weigh in is friday with fight saturday like mma can they be at weight friday night and then do they do another weigh in closer to match time or after match?? Sorry if its dumb question but in school i swear kids cutting weight were almost like on drugs i used to watch them and worry if any would get hurt or sick but growing up in washington i dont think the scene up here was as big as in say pa or nj i think state tournament would bring out 250 people max i was always tall and fat so wasnt my sport but i respect it and want to learn more
YOU’RE NOT SHOWING DAVID AND BO’s first MATCH!!! UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE coverage NBCSN I’ve already unsubscribed to the youtube channel. CANCELING Peacock is next
All these young guys with extensive tattoos. It’s not healthy. Ink has heavy metals and it leaks into the lymphatic system. Invest in tattoo removal technology lol
Yeah right. No athletasism necessary. Just off the charts strength, flexibility, conditioning, mental and physical toughness, and work ethic, all while cutting 25 lbs. Piece of cake. Anyone can do it. Asshat.
Not all of them. Just look at Askren. Not an athletic bone in his body. Couldn’t play an other sport. Yet made a career out of just hard work!! Took wrestling right into fighting and only was able to wrestle in his fights. Yes he was extremely successful but not athletic. Some like Burroughs is a super athlete. Watch your mouth Ross! Never know who can piece you up or dump you on your douchebag head! Lol

Yannis a real dude that realizes life is deeper than wrestling
17:53 - Yianni is shooting a millisecond after he stops Jordan's shot. Watch that back 5x. Amazing.

Me, a "casual fan".. "who TF is this guy with glasses at 14 mins?" Subtitle rolls in, shoot..That's Kyle Dake, 4 time NCAA BEAST
It's okay. Most wrestlers have been following the wrestlers for years
Fr
At 4 different weights, which I think he is the only one to do that.
Yanni's ceiling is so much higher than Oliver's, and Zane's. I think the Olympics being pushed back a year was perfect for him.
Yiannis's main weapon is his flexibility you can push him so far out of position but he remains comfortable. The kid is shooting singles with his damn foot above his head it blows my mind
Yanni is no where near as good as Oliver or Molinaro on their feet. His entire offense is based around someone else's attacks.

That intro will always be so epic

I saw this happen, but never re-watched. PROPS TO JONNY ON GIVING J.O. THE RESPECT ON HELPING HIM, GREAT SPORT.
All in gonna say is Gross vs Eierman would be an insane dream matchup
Yep. Would be a great matchup for 5th and 6th place.
Aren't they in different weight classes though?
@@cjb2836, that is why it would be a dream matchup. Cause it will most likely not happen. But if it did that would be crazy
Gross is gonna destroy that fool
he definitely legit I remember wrestling him through out high school

Good. It's amazing!
