Hi! I have been very curious about starting a micro blading program and can’t figure out if I need to be a certified tattoo artist before I start a course like this? Thanks!
Did you take a permeant tattoo course that included lips, eyes, etc.? Or did you take just a brow course? I am very interesting in becoming a PMU tattoo artist but am unsure what course I technically need to take. Brows are really my only interest at the moment (I rather do one thing at a time) but would I still need to take a course that goes over all the PMU?
I still dont have an interest to tattoo lips or eyes, I am just a brow and body tattoo lady haha, you can pick and choose some people just do lips some just do eyes some just do brows, make it something that brings you joy
@@BeautyINKstitute so if I took a course like yours for just brows it would still be considered acceptable for the education portion in order to receive certification for tattooing?
@@amandaarcoleo9168 You need to check your states body art regulations to see what you need in order to be tattooing under a body art facility and my course teaches you the basics
hello!! i’m interested in starting your course! I’ve been looking for the right course for me and I realized you are in Detroit and I live super close to Detroit!
If I’m in Virginia can I still take your course? I have struggled with finding a career that I want to do and will be happy doing. I want to be my own boss, provide for my family and be able to quit my 9-5. Moneys very tight for me at the moment so I will have to save up
Taylor, if you want text me here 3134146141 and ill call you later and see how i can help you, i promise I won't try to sell/push anything on you. I just want to clarify what www.beautyinkstitute.com offers so I can help you choose at your own time what you need. (if you're reading this, you can text too anytime)
Hi 👋🏾, so when you ready to start taking clients where should I service them ? I’m not sure if I would like to get a salon suite at the moment only because I know I wouldn’t be booked and busy right away and there expensive… what should I do ?
One great option (the one I used for years in the beginning) is to work commission at an established salon. This way you can learn from the other artists not only techniques but sales and people skills you pick up here and there. And you can build your portfolio and reputation at the expense of the salon. For me, this method really worked, and when you're ready to leave just leave, but don't open down the street LOL like 10 miles down or something haha.
Hey! So my training will be $11,000 I was like holy crap! So she’s doing an in person class of up to 5, you do your bookwork first, your blood borne pathogen training and certification, and in my state you have to do 100 hours of apprenticeship with a licensed person who’s licensed in your state for a minimum of 3 years. I’ll have to do 2 in person microblades, 2 lip blushes, and 2 permanent eyeliners (totally freaks me out) for me to be “signed off on” and certified. I’ll then need to pass with the state health board. Does all of this sound right? I feel like that’s so expensive!
@@BeautyINKstitute right?! I spoke with a tattoo parlor owner because I want to get my ducks in a row about renting a space, etc, and he asked me who I was training under/with, and he had some choice words about that price! It’s literally Nashville…I feel very like hhhmmm
@@ashleycorum7917 Im not sure about the rules in TN but ask the tattoo shop owner if you just need to be working in a body art facility or you need a personal artist license to work, if only the facility needs to be licensed then thats good, you can train anywhere and you don't need to apprentice. If hours are required, maybe ask to work at his shop. We offer all types of training online here at www.beautyinkstitute.com
no, you just need to be working in a body art facility, google your states body art requirements and see what is needed in your state. In most states Microblading is considered a tattoo, so typically same rules apply.
Question, if I am licensed as a tattoo artist, would I still need to be certified in microblading? I assume so but I have to ask to make sure
@@JenniferRodriguezJRDesignz you have to report you’re microblading but it’s usually under same health inspection
