ISC2 is in florida, which says everything you need to know about the organisation. Look up the google reviews of the place.
ISC2 will not change, just like Florida will not change - at least not for the better...
good luck to you sir - fight the good fight!
Thank you. Yes, I did look at the Google reviews. That was entertaining...lol
Unfortunately, you won't be able to reach Shon Harris.
Yes, it is unfortunate. RIP.
Hi. Does your website cover the topics missing from the other study resources? I have subbed to your website.
Yes, we provided a free resource that covers all the topics here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1O1MvuuV27qTCODdYfZVEA8ulhOyj7ILBcv9YW6-A4uk/edit?usp=sharing
Thank you for the video. I like the way you dig into it. However, I got questions that people are saying they used just one of the book (chapel or haris) as a main source of study and passed the exam. Do you think it makes difference though?
It might. People can pass the exam by leveraging their experience along with their ability to answer exam questions, but in the instances where someone gets a scored question on something like "Multilateral NDA" that either makes or breaks the exam, I would say it's important for ISC2 to make sure the people writing these books include the right terminology.
@@CISSPrep yeah it's true. Thank you for the great video!
So the Official CBK book listed. Is that the book that comes with the paid learning?
Yes, the leftmost column is the $950 official book/training, AKA the CBK.
have you taken the $945 training and do you think the CISSP is equilent to a Masters, which the UK announced about 2 yrs ago?
also, thanks for these videos - very insightful.
i think the cert industry may be in for a rude awakening if congress gets a heads up about it, especially since the tech companies are already under fire.
cheers.
Yes, I took the training in order to update the website. It's awful, and so far everyone that I've talked to hated it too. As far as CISSP being equivalent to a Masters degree... I would have agreed back when the exam was 6 hours long and the CBK was 1600 pages, but now... Things have changed.
what do you think of the CEH and EC-Council ?
CEH was a great class, but I was very green when I took it. From what I know, it's a must-have for students who are passionate about pen-testing and vulnerability management. Good to have alongside forensic certifications as well, I'd imagine.
