I guess the problem is the amount blocking the dam not the plan itself .

They have good intentions however there are a million more floating hyacinth and grass islands coming downstream.

It had to be removed. It was blocking the road.

My suggestion is get a excavator to grab all the floating vegetations
Hyacinth lilies need to be eradicated. Nigeria has a good program to skim off top of dams, put in barges and use in making cardboard packing boxes
Pull from the sides let the water current help move the weeds
My god that’s a lot of plants, but you both do a great job to clean all dams❤

This looks like it could be just the job for young juvenile offenders, especially if they have to come back day after day till their sentence is served.
Wrong way to fix it, this will cause massive problems downstream, why would you do this? I thought y’all were the good guys?? Also it didn’t seem like the water was badly blocked, didn’t see a big build up stream terrible loss of habitat! A single channel would have worked if it was really necessary

Then they need ta take down all the dams in creeks and rivers they're disrupting the echo system the dams is stopping the fish species that used ta occupy the water beds up stream n the dams have stopped them from going upstream where they're usually hangout n spawn newborns n removing the grass from the falls is keeping the water from getting blocked and causing flooding and erosion along the banks
The authorities should definitely get involved. Let us know where you live so we can send them to do a wellness check. I'm concerned you may be a threat to yourself and those around you.
