nero's buster consists of the same animations repeating over and over again, yet it never gets boring
How did the devs do it so well?
it even still give brutality feels
Think the key is making them succinct enough that they don't overstay there welcome, most are a second at most, they become part of the flow of the game instead of breaking it up like these kind of animations often do in action games.

I love how Nero's DT Buster for the Gladius lets him swing it around and that the Gladius itself also acts as a damaging attack for nearby enemies - in DMD, this swing could even stop and damage other Gladii that are already thrusting at you mid-Buster, and with free green orbs if they're killed this way

Buster animations have more explosive feel in four than they do in five. But I think it's intentional because now that Nero is in a relationship with Kyrie he's learned to control his anger a little better so the buster grabs in five reflect that.
I miss his devil bringer, I get that they needed a way for Dante to come back and we got like eleven years with it, but still
@@ravencollins5638 Yeah I miss the devil bringer also. But on the bright side Nero now has two spectral arms he can fight with. And not to mention he doesn't have to hide his arm out in public anymore.

I just realized how Nero's Devil Trigger has the katana holder on his left arm just like Vergil's Devil Trigger has.
Yea probably bc Yamato is a Devil arm and just like when Dante and Vergil go into DT with any Devil arm they kinda get a different look
@@Jack.Martson No, that's because Dante didn't knew how to control his power and had the devil arms to catalyze it, that's why he changes his looks depending on what devil arm he's using and why after DMC 4 and 5 he doesn't
Something I missed in DMC5 was how wild the buster animations felt with the spectral DT. I know they had to accomodate for the devil bringer, but I hope next game has a big more oomf
not sure is it uploaded by the same person, but I just watched some DMC5 Nero buster before this, some of them does have the spectral DT, even with Yamato too
@@leesasuki No I mean like when Nero and the specter would be doing completely different things, like when Nero stabbed Agnus while the specter sliced with Yamato. The wing arms in 5 could be used for some awesome 4 limbed busters, like he does a hand lock with his normal arms only for the wing arms to beat up the enemy.
@@firerath ah yes my bad, I understand that could be story reason (as Nero either lost his ability to turn into demon as he lost yamato, then finally unite with his demon self so there is less split personality), but would be very cool to see that in next DMC
@@firerathI think the reason for the lack of this is that they had to accomodate for the buster devil bringer which would only have 2 arms
@@jackwinch6097 Yeah that's what I meant in my original comment about needing to accommodate for the devil bringer because it was, you know, ripped off, and Nero only had the breakers.

正直、バスターのアクションは5より4の方がダイナミックで格好いい。
てか5はバスターのモーションがノーマルと魔人化でほぼ全く変化なしというがっかり仕様、4を見習って欲しかった。
あくまでクリア後のおまけ要素だからね

in dmc4 i think buster is still better than dmc5. dmc5 has no creativity at all, so it's very disappointing to stay the same as part 4. buster part 4 is as good as part 5 is so bad

You have Nero doing wrestling moves on Angelos, taking Vergil's sword out of his gut and stabbing him back, suplexing Vergil out of his DT, clashing with Fury, spinning Goliath around by his tail and throwing, pulling Juddeca's blades off its arms and throwing it back at it and you think that isn't creative?

I got disappointed when 5 has less unique buster animations, buster in 4 always feels like you accomplished a big thing considering some enemies can only be bustered if stunned

Think you’re in the minority on that one, I personally like it and how the Yamato whole idea was reflected on it. Splitting the demon world from humanity/splitting man from devil. And it looks cool but that’s just me🤷🏾♂️
