it also gives a more easy defined shape with the scarf and the different color helps separate him from dante and vergil
1. Red Queen : The Throttle Modified Sword
2. Blue Rose : Double-Barelled Revolver
3. Devil Bringer : Nero's Demonic Arm
4. Yamato : Vergil's Katana
5. Ablities : Secret Red Orb Searching, Plant Decaying, Grapple, Grab, Gyroblade Starter, Floating, Timepause.
6. Buster : Pummeling & Smash.
One of the things I definitely prefer from 4 over 5 is how intense/ over the top Nero’s voicelines are. His DMC4 “DOUBLE DOWN” just sounds so much better than the 5 one. I also miss the “1,2 Blast” and “catch this” lines.
His voice lines fit his character in each game.
In 4 he's young and is more intense
In 5 he's slightly older and and has chilled out a bit because of that and his devil hunting plus having kind of a little family but has moments of losing it like in Dmc 4.

Some things never change, like Nero having some of the most over-the-top voice lines and animations in the game! Particularly the buster animations.
My guy really went one step further beyond and show us the different actions with the devil buster on different enemies
He didn't show all tiers of Charged Shot, and also he didn't tap the grab button during buster animations to extend them
Sound of swords ripping through air is more satisfactory in dmc4 than in 5.

Man i forgot how good the exceed burst sound feels like. My right ear enjoys it everytime it goes off

I believe Nero's super costume gives automatic exceed on every attack (though not 100% sure, haven't played in a while 😅)

He automatically MAX acts all his attacks with the super costume

This was a fantastic showcase, but you missed showing the other 2 Charge Shots for Nero, especially gor in DT since a fully charged shot summons 6 Summoned Swords instead of just 2

I must say, this is solid, but DMC5 did Nero splendidly and it kinda made DMC4 look like the bastard child of Devil May Cry 5 and Devil May Cry 3.
The busters are just so much cooler than in 5 holy shit

I really like Nero's arm fighting style, way more than how he fights with his mechanical arm in DMC5. It looks cool, and it feels more powerful.

@@KowahoshiYagito yeah, but the DT we see in DMC 5 has a different design (hell, even overall shape) than the stand from DMC 4, which looked bigger and more like some sort of demonic samurai, I'm not saying the one from 5 looks bad, but if at some point they decide to give Nero a Sin Devil Trigger (like they did with Dante and Vergil at 5) I hope it gets designed out of his DMC 4 devil trigger

Red queen's design is better in dmc4 it looks like a powerful sword. In 5 it feels weak in terms of its looks.
in the dmc4 novel. explains that when nero was absorbed by the savior red queen and blue rose where destroyed(melted), that's the reason for the redesign in 5 nero had to rebuilt them instead of getting one from the order(red queen). But i agree OG blue rose and red queen are incredible looking weapons
