Have you considered a cal reactor? 3) I have a friend running apex with trident on a small system but all sps and it is working amazing. I am trying to see how the trident would work on constantly changing alk levels like on frag systems that have constant coral in and out. You think it could handle high change environments like that? We also have a deep tank my husband cut 2 foot 1/2 inch pvc we smashed the wire end of a fish net into it and we can scoop up or move things around with out any problem its our favorite thing!

That tank could really be a show stopper, but that biotope for a few large fish and thriving sea cucumbers is something else as well. Super nice!
