i think id go through all earth leads in and out of car any 1 cause 1 module get wrong info then knock on effect , scope can bus ? , as don't play up soon as you drive possibly rule out ecu other than getting hot ,, sounds more like trying to get data from 1 item but cannot see ,,
Guess could be a wiring issue on a car of that age and mileage. Would need to scope it out at ecu connection and check for water damage. Could be a expensive repair I guess
I've a fault code p0470 which says exhaust pressure sensor it has check engine light on with yellow triangle light on and it's down on power I change the exhaust pressure sensor and nothing has changed it diagnostic won't allow code to be deleted could you help me on this one
Just asking the question after all your work and not getting the result you wanted could linking the two battery tumenals together wipe the memory sorry about spelling

Possibly but there was live and negative at the sensor 😕

Mine has 5kpa at idle ( same car & engine ) but no check engine so far

Would you have Todo the same with the 1.6d Volvo engine as would be the same unit I'm guessing

Sometimes this can work but we have a diagnostic tool to do this so it would not have worked
