About Lucifer: Lucifer is an American urban fantasy television series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016.[2][3] It is based on the DC Comics character created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg taken from the comic book series The Sandman, who later became the protagonist of a spin-off comic book series, both published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. The series is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD.
The ensemble and supporting cast include Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel "Dan" Espinoza, D. B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin. Filming took place primarily in Vancouver, British Columbia before production was relocated entirely to Los Angeles, California beginning with the third season. The first season received mixed reviews from critics, though subsequent seasons were better rated. The fourth season also received high ratings and critical acclaim. Many critics particularly praised Ellis' performance. Despite initially high viewership for its debut, ratings remained consistently low throughout the series' run on Fox. On May 11, 2018, Fox cancelled Lucifer after three seasons. A month later, Netflix picked up the series for a fourth season of ten episodes, which was released on May 8, 2019.
On June 6, 2019, Netflix renewed the series for the fifth and final season which will be 16 episodes. However, in March 2020, Tom Ellis and other stars of the show were reported to have signed up for a sixth season to be produced by Netflix and Warner Bros.[4] Official confirmation is yet to be received. It was later reported that production has stopped near to the end of Season 5 due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and studio closures. This is a show needs to keep going! The eternal interpretations of the devil, angels and god are so compelling, it makes the perfect TV show.. AND the chemistry between Lucifer and Chloe is undeniably THE BEST I ever seen. KEEP THIS SHOW GOING
This isn’t my favourite show ever, but I can always tell when there is genuine passion behind a project.
Everyone working on this show loves it to pieces, so I have fun knowing that they all love each other and have fun making it. I love it so much. I can’t stop watching it. The love on set is infectious and it can be felt in every episode.

The ending. Donald trump. This is all pretty funny. It's nice. The friendship they have on set and that it keeps on going. I've watched other good tv films from a while ago and the actors don't see each that much anymore. It's a shame as back in the day they were all amazing friends.
Lauren German is the best choice.. as much as love 1st choice actress from suicide Squad.. this role is definitely Lauren’s and with Tom is what make this watchable believable. Anyone else may have flunked this season 1.. since I had quit S1 after problems watching this with the app glitches

I have not enjoyed a supernatural show this much since Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel! Tom reminds me of David Boreanaz in that they are both so good looking and can be incredible goofballs in their shows. I just watched the episode of Lucifer when he went to a nudist colony with Lopez and the orgy pants episode. Lol!!! A shout out to Amiee Garcia too. I remember her from Dexter.
