Don't be afraid to assassinate, even though you got told off in one of the missions, the whole point of the story is that you fight how you want (it will make sense when you finish the game)

Tips for you.
-Try and unlock fast travel check points such as Shrines, Camps and locations on your map and you can just fast travel to them without needing to walk and run. It will save you lot of time.
- Try and collect as many bamboo and yew woods as possible. You can sell them later for supplies which in turn can help you upgrade your swords/Armour.
-Run to the archers and use your run/dash attack skill to make it easier to fight the mongols.
-Make sure you talk to the villagers with a chat emote above their head. They can guide you to mythic tales.
You can fast travel on the map pressing Y.
Fr it would take him 10 seconds compared to like 15 minutes tryna travel by horse across the whole map. I hope he sees this.

You don’t discover all these side quests and collectibles and things if he just fast travels everywhere though

Don't worry about being honourable, it doesn't change the story or anything, in fact your expected to not be honourable then it will explain the weather thing at some point
For a self-proclaimed loot goblin, he has been missing a lot of stuff in the way

I feel that he thinks that it bothers people when he goes for loot so he says he's a loot goblin, but I don't think almost anyone watching this series has a problem with it.

Yes josh please do like 3 ghost livestreams a week, this game deserves it.. you don't want to forget the story or the combat!
Use a dualsense controller. The adaptive triggers etc makes the game even better, like when you're clashing swords or parrying, you can feel the impact.
Also you can fast travel to places youve already visited
josh when you visit places you already went to, you can fast travel. (it also gets u closer to destinations you havent been to)
This game is so sick, will be here for every episode and here i thought my playthrough watching days were behind me
4:29 yeah 100% . Its a whole different experience with the dualsense controller, make sure you have the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on
Josh this game is really fun especially when you do all the side quests and find all the hidden stuff trust me you won't be disappointed
the side quests are the worst part about this game
Josh when you have an objective to observe/kill a mongol leader, do your best to observe them first and then kill them after, so you get an extra point towards unlocking a new stance
This game has to be completed - this is so much fun to watch and love that it’s slightly different to the regular content!
josh use all the stances you have available; they are meant to be blended together for the combat and don't be so reluctant to use assassinations or the ghost technique they make the combat and gameplay even more amazing, and you should try to investigate the question marks '?' on the maps.
Josh, there is no need to be afraid of being sneaky, the plot of the game is doing whatever it takes to win. Don’t be afraid to assassinate. You have to do whatever it takes to survive. If you don’t, things will be a lot more difficult as the game progresses. For example, certain enemy camps may be difficult to defeat whilst out in the open, but in the shadows it may just be a minor inconvenience.
Josh I speak for the people. We will not get tired of you playing this game

I don't mind you looting everything in this game, I'm here for it, especially if you stream it
The birds show you a general area of interest, it’s not always exactly to a spot (hence sometimes it travels huge distances away then circles back!)
i would definitely recommend wearing the travelers attire when traversing the map, as it increases the amount of fog uncovered (%) (more of the map becomes seen). it can also be upgraded to increase the percentage. which means you can find more golden birds, fox dens, hot springs, bamboo strikes, etc. it really helps make the game easier since you’ll be riding your horse a lot, might as well uncover more of the map at the same time
just before combat you can switch your armor, and then switch back afterwards.

This is my favorite game of all time, and I’ve been watching Sidemen for my whole life,so seeing Josh playing this game makes me so hyped lol pls keep the series going!
I know you don’t want to be a loot goblin, but that’s a big part of the game. Finding shrines, foxes, bamboo strikes, following the yellow birds and other activities that you haven’t found.
Further we want to see you collect most things, most of us have played it already so we know what we’re in for. Also they help you progress so you kinda need to do some of them.
Lastly the game is called Ghost of Tsushima, you’re supposed to be stealthy hence the ghost part. The Kahn said he has studied the samurais tactics so that he could beat them so that why Jin does what he does.
And here I was waiting for you to stream it.
I would love to see you 100% this game.
Initial Tips
1. Use RB more
2. Stay in stone stance, change stances only when against different type of enemies, most enemies are just swords enemies
3. Use ghost weapons more in combat, they really help
And keep exploring, as someone who 100% this game, this game has so much to give

for the bamboo cutting there;s a setting that makes it way easier. Some of them later on get ridiculously hard
I randomly started playing through this game about 4 days before you started the series its been so good to get back into an open world game for the first time in years and being able to watch your playthrough as I go 🤌 perfect timing hope you keep it up as long as your enjoying it. It gets better and better the more time you invest imo
I'm loving this series so far and even if it comes out to 90 hours or more the more hours the better.
The honourable standoff thing is for the first ‘encounter’ per group of enemies. So it’s only once per battle essentially

I'd recommend looking at upgrading stances etc. it can make fighting more fun. You can also play the flute to get rid of stormy weather

To change sword kits go to Gear > swords > then click the sword icon and change it

swipe right across the PS4/5 controller's touchpad when there's blood on the katana can make some cool move, and we wont suffer cause saw a samurai put a bloody knife into it sheath
and when there's blood on the katana you can press the right cross key to perform "Invigorate the blood and close the knife"

Progressing the story how you want is a staple in rpg games, some people get overwhelmed by open world rpgs due to not being able to choose what quest or side quest to do, i really like it tho usally i go with whats colser or with whatever makes the most sense to come next for me

Don’t worry about being honourable or dishonourable, just play however you want. I assassinate all the time and I love it. If you wanna keep the weather clear, you can play your flute and it improves the weather! It depends on the song, but the first one is the one that improves it.
Also, remember to change your armour and charms depending on the situation! If you’re travelling around the map, use the traveller’s armour. If you’re in combat, use one that’s appropriate for how you’re fighting (you’ll unlock more as you progress). The charms you choose for an armour will stay on that loadout, so you don’t need to change those every time.
I literally just finished this game a few days before the first part came out and I think the companions tales are some of the best bits of the game

There is a skill that lets u block arrows with ur sword, very effective
The main story of this game is so great

Josh, you shouldn’t feel that your combat would be too hard for a game like Elden Ring. People say it’s difficult because they CHOOSE to make it difficult by not using built-in items that help them. I assure you that you would have no trouble playing the game, and it’s exactly what you’re looking for with your loot goblin tendencies.
True. Elden Ring is FromSoft’s easiest game to date simply because of all the help you can get in it. The combat is more simple than GoT, and the harder bosses can all be cheesed with summons. I’d love to see him play it, or at least try it! Much better game than GoT tbh

Thing is he’s already overwhelmed with ghost, Elden ring has over 100+ hours worth of content and add that on top of a learning curve and many many deaths, i doubt it would happen… hope I’m wrong though
@@Ar17778 Yeah, I know he’s said in livestreams that he doesn’t think it would be coming soon, but no reasons why have been mentioned yet - unless I’m uninformed.
If I were to guess, I’d think that it’s 1) too large of a game, 2) too difficult of a game, and/or 3) too overwhelming of a game.
I understand 1 and 3, and, of course, there’s lots that we don’t know behind his reasoning, but I know that he can be convinced that 2 isn’t true.

To parry you just need to hit LB as theyre swinging at you but not for the red attacks and if you hold LB he blocks

Josh, loot gobbling and bird chasing is how we *all* played Ghost of Tsushima, I think. I can't wait until you find the armor that improves your standoffs. (Sakai clan armor).
I did traveller's gear for exploration, quick shift to Sakai armor for fighting. (all white everything). the armor will look better and better as you improve it.
Please do more of this game
Josh make sure you find the mythic tales you get the most OP moves and armour, you get them by talking to the story tellers.
They also have some of the best fights with cool backdrops.

Edit: killing mongol leaders while in stealth grants you a bonus, I won’t say what that is though. This game rewards stealth. Use it.

Josh why are you not sprinting during fights and parrying, it saves u so much time during fights 😅
so i may or may not have completed this game 3 times, so im gonna try give you hints that won't ruin how you want to play it. first make sure you loot every camp every inch of it cause you will need the upgrades also make sure you pretty much get every upgrade you can for your character as again its needed. the game play and fighting will evolve so make sure you free the camps etc and kill the leaders as every stance is important. but loved this game so here for it!
Sword stance is still better against sword wilding enemies, try and switch stances during combat to optimise this
Kill enemies any way you want, honor is no such thing, It died on Komoda beach.

@@saltybread7297 I don't think so. He's not at such a high point of skill that he requires extreme function to keep it going that it deteriorates. That would be true for someone who is exceptionally skilled not someone who has no grasped skill yet
