These little cars are amazing! This one is in serious need of an un-pimping and some TLC. Should be coveted at this point as they’re almost considered classics. This was golden age Honda.
Looks like it's gonna fall apart and fun at the same time 😂😂
That K20A screaming
Finally he did a 2003 Si!!
Not to many POV videos out there on ep3 I have a 2004 with 90k. It is a pretty clean example as it is completely stock except for wheels(I still have the stocks). This one is definitely I need of some love but they are great cars.
Its a shame you guys didnt get the EP3 Type R, they're fun to drive, not the fastest thing ever but very enjoyable
now this is the video angle one should strive for in a POV video!
beautiful car
Lovely car,
Friend of mine had one wehn I had my Matrix XRS. I use to wear him out but we had a blast!
Old But Still Good😮😲😉👍👏!
2.0l 160hp? Never heard of that configuration..here in Europe we only had a type R with a 200hp K20..other than regular models of course
Lower redline than the Type R (6800 RPM vs 8000 RPM)
Typical of the American market, we missed out, even though they could have. I'm not too well versed on the Civics (so I'm sure there's some difference that Honda guys will mention), but considering the RSX (sold elsewhere as the Intergra) was sold here as a base model with this engine, or a 200hp (later 210hp for the facelift), but the Si here only ever had the 160hp and five speed. It was also criminally under-tired in the pre-facelift phase (as was the RSX if memory serves).
@@hduncan2587 they really messed up the E36 M3..3.0 240hp in comparison with 3.0 300 and 3.2 320hp in Europe
Those cars are my favorite
So you say you’re 13?
@@mexykpietrovnah not 13
Damn I remember when we used to think these were quick cars. hahaha
no subwoofer test?
That’s why I have a steering wheel cover to hopefully prevent that wear on my steering wheel
❤
4k at 80 in 5th Jesus lol
Sounds rough
These were such a fail, Civic Si popularity was at a peak when they came out, somehow Honda didn't care
What are you talking about that's why they're rare nowaday. They were fun sure but it wasn't uncommon to see them
@SlvrWlf88 it was a European version heavily detuned you should check out there version you'll be surprised
How far Honda has fallen. The new Type R is like a video game simulation compared to how visceral their old high revving NA cars were.
then why is it that the new type r is considered the best fwd car ever made 🙃
maybe what you think is stupid and wrong 😂
@@Anko88888 What a mature and nuanced comment. Because enthusiasts and journalists are only concerned with objectivity and bigger numbers and not how cars actually feel to drive.
@@Anko88888 no. He’s right. Some like you just don’t get the nuance around the feel and connection of good cars vs the ones that just have the higher numbers. It’s a bigger brain thing.
This thing is so ugly it just ruined my day😂
Stay in school
You say that every day you look at the mirror?
Used and abused.
