It can be hard to tell from her videos because her talk is very unfocused and she keeps the camera on herself the whole time. I came to the comments to see this list of 11 because honestly there was only 2 I could pick up on and remember from the video (a pair of jeans and a suit). A pair of jeans and a suit isn't helpful of course - every man already has those.
Hi Courtney, I've been watching your content for just over 2 years now. I'm 21 and went out on my first date the other day and it went amazingly! With a developed mindset, training and studying hard, putting effort in my clothing and skincare, i felt i was putting my best foot forward going into the date. Eye contact and gestures were spot on and i overall just felt confident and the girl reciprocated me really well. We're setting up a second date this weekend coming, just wanted to thank you so much for helping me get to this point, you're helping so many people and i appreciate you so much😊🙏
Oh my goodness, you just made my day! I’m so glad it went well. Hugs to you, thanks for being here and for being so kind 🥰
"Training and studying". It should not be that hard. Woke feminism has obliterated what used to be wholesome and innocent.
I take care of myself, have my life in order, have money, accomplishments and goals, have the respect of many, have loyal friends.
I do not need to "earn" anything else. If a woman does not see value in me, then I do not see her at all.
Nice job, my man!
@@CourtneyRyan Why is a woman talking about what "grown men" need? Maybe I should make videos about what grown women need in their closet or what they should do to better serve men?
Congratulations!
Courtney this may be a stretch but I saw you completely transform a subscriber and hopefully you can do that video again… the glow up you gave him was amazing
Aww maybe I will do that again sometime!
Hi Courtney, what are you opinion on wearing an Apple watch instead of traditonal watches?
If my memory serve me right she like regular watches rather than smart watches @@MrTigerlilly68
@@MrTigerlilly68 a classic watch is going to give you a timeless classy look. Apple watches look techy and sort of dorky for guys over 21. But that is just my opinion, and also Alpha M. mentions this in his style tips as well as Courtney
@@CourtneyRyanI volunteer!! As a 43 yo man who just started learning about how to dress properly I’d love to
Great list, these wardrobe videos are always to the point and very informative. Thank you for them!
Glad to have some of my choices validated and confirmed by this list. Got a little over half the items mentioned in some shape or form. My fashion is more military and outdoor inspired, with a huge focus on functionality over anything else, so getting the finer things down right has been the latest push. Got the bomber and boots down to a tee, but an Oxford and dress items are next. Low key on a mission to set up a Tweed suit as well lol.
A few pointers I’ve gathered for the guys looking for hyper functionality out of a presentable look:
-Wrangler flex jeans are your friend if you have bigger legs. You lose nothing in mobility or comfort, and you still retain the classic denim look. Great for if you suddenly need to spring into action, or more realistically, do some sudden labor that requires functionality over look. Also super cheap and easy to replace off Amazon.
-Birchberry Bronston dress shoes. 100% has the look of a conventional leather dress shoe, but features a wide toe box for comfort, waterproof pleather that doesn’t retain a ton of heat, and shock cord laces that allow quick donning while staying nice and snug. “Barefoot” -like fit, with a low toe drop for all day comfort. This gives you a good looking shoe that only the snobbiest critic will be able to notice that is easy to wear, comfy, and you can still work, be in the elements, and even sprint effectively in. 10/10 shoe.
-Core leather gun belt in the same color as the shoes with silver color false buckle. Another item that masks as fancy really well, and ups a more formal look, but acts as a hyper functional item. The ratchet fastener makes pants adjustment super quick and easy for donning and doffing, or adjusting for a full belly or adding on a handgun inside the belt line. Holds its shape well due to the plastic liner inside, and holds up the weight of a full size handgun without sagging. Again, a super comfy item that looks like something dressy that can be taken to the apocalypse with the rest of the fit. The buckle comes off as well, allowing you to change from brown to black to fit the outfit properly, or change fabric completely.
Finally, more just a clothing tip in general, especially base layers: cotton kills. Wear poly and or Marino wool if you can, when you can. It’s better for sweat and pit stains, breathability and heat regulation, and especially freezing temperatures, since that moisture freezes. Cotton underwear, shirts, and socks are for lounging around the house after a shower. I’m a firm believer they’re not for outside the home.
Let me know what you guys think
For the Oxford shirt, I would go classic button down as Courtney says, one white, one blue. I personally would go with a blend or a wrinkle free cotton so you don't have to iron it all the time. Pinstripes are a good classic option as well. My 2 cents.
Big fan of a quarter zip. Any plain dark colour goes well formally or more casually and is great for layering
Agreed. I am 60 and people don't normally wear suits to work now but I wear really high quality chinos, good quality shirt (button down or stiff collar) and a quarter zip in blue, charcoal, light blue, tan or a muted mass green. Then brown brogues. I occasionally wear a suit with black Oxford shoes, stiff collar shirt. I always wear white, blue, pink in plain, pinstripe or very small check. Basic colours that go with anything.
My young adult son wears exactly the same thing to an international law firm in London. It's basically standard business wardrobe in law firms and investment banks where a slight formality and client meetings are normal.
As outerwear I wear a quilted jacket or a long mac/trench coat in a dark colour blue/grey/black.
I strongly recommend this to any man as a safe but not stuffy basic wardrobe. The only thing I would add is a formal dinner suit.
7:26 "I would never wear anything on this list!" That is such an funny impression.
😂
Thanks for the suggestions Courtney! You’ve helped improve my wardrobe considerably!! 👍🙏
Excellent episode! I'm saving this one for reference as I fill-in the gaps in my closet!
These videos have definitely helped my wardrobe! Thanks for giving direction, I feel a lot better about buying clothing with your help
A very important point about footwear is getting some kit to maintain them. Even the nicest shoes or boots don't look that great if they are all beat up. There are some cheap options on amazon and whatnot, but at least having a brush to clean them as well as some dye to recolor nicks and bruises on leather shoes will go a long way to make them last a long time. Add to that some oil and you will be set to always look your best.
You added some extra clarifications in this one that aren't in your others like the difference between an Oxford button down and a dress shirt and I very much appreciate it! This was a great one, thank you so much as always for the help Courtney!
Thanks for the helpful list. I also would recommend at least two blazers for casual outfits. For example a Tweed herringbone for colder seasons and a light linen or cotton blazer for warmer seasons. One can find some cool stuff also second hand.
A helpful if you can drop $300 on a pair of shoes $50 Tshirt ect
Love the Viberg call out. Just got my first pair and they're hands down the best piece in my closet.
Thank you for the advice. I’ve been following your channel for a while now.
Thanks for being here! ❤️
...brother I'll save you time and drop you wisdom now.
#1. Never take advice from a women. Doesn't matter what it is, never take advice especially about male topics from a women...ever
I’m in love with a woman, not a man. Put aside the ego and try to listen to the women. You will be surprised on how effective communication skills can help your relationship.
This is my choosing. If this offended you, thanks for your concern but it is non of your business.
This channel, her posts helped me a lot from a simple guy becoming a well mannered, well appreciated by women and guys as well.
And…. If you think that a guy shouldn’t take an advice from a lady, why are you here in the first place?
Thank You for the List and Video 😀
Great video Courtney!!
Steve Mcqueen loved the Converse Jack Purcell white sneakers, a really classic casual look
If you are in a city with an Indochino outlet (like Seattle) you can go in there and they will give you all your suit measurements for your reference. Very helpful. You don't have to spend a lot. I find suits and jackets in good condition at thrift stores and take them to get tailored and spend a fraction of the price of a new one. For shirts, I really like Van Heusen at Kohl's because they size their dress shirts by body shape, neck measurement, and sleeve length - not just small, medium, and large. It makes for much better fitting shirts when you figure out which sizes/shapes best fit your body. But for bold colors and patterns I'm a huge fan of the Visconti Black line at Dillard's. I get a LOT of compliments with those! For ties, the last few years I've become a collector of Jerry Garcia's ties. They are just gorgeous ties that will also draw compliments.
Hi! My personal favorite for every season, a casual lower formal, you could say, outfit is my very light denim shirt, black Levi's, black boots, with my Devil Diver watch and speedometer bracelet to match on the other wrist. Sometimes I'll wear my rings too.
My go-to business casual is a light grey shirt, rolled up sleeves, charcoal pants, and dress socks for that added pop of color (lemons!)
My favorite bad boy outfit in cool weather is either a burgundy or black T, black jeans, brown Levi's trucker jacket, boots, and of course a watch.
Summer: linen pants and nice printed Hawaiian shirts. Not the boring ones, the ones that actually look good from Banana Republic, sunglasses, watches, rings. Maybe a cigar later on too 😁
Winter: a nice sweater, navy wool long coat, boots, darker pants to compliment the sweater, watch of course.
I prefer boots over everything because they give off that rugged tough guy look, and I'll even have then unlaced to have it look very casual. I'll only wear crocs or Sneakers if I am working out, or I am at kickboxing or whatever active where I need them.
I'm happy to see Thursday Boots getting a shout-out.
They've been my go to for years, and many of them re-sole quite well.
I just recently learned who your husband is, and I have to say that Teddy's channel is a favorite of mine, your advice is always spot on and so classy! All the best to both of you
Spot on....if you think GQ sets all the trends and you live in one of the handful of big cities. This advice is largely impractical and no one gives a damn if you don't live in those stuck up cities.
I've been watching you and Teddy for quite some time now and you two really helped me in terms of fashion, relationship and lifestyle advices, and of course getting introduced to watches from Teddy. Thank you guys! ❤
Never take advice from a women.
Train, get fit , be a provider & protector. Women naturally will be all over you. It's easy today with most men being weak as hell, so many are lgbtq,fk
I just ordered 2 shirts, hopefully they fit well.
Thank you Courtney. You’re the Best ❤
It's autumn where I am, and I've recently purchased two scarves, a woollen overcoat and some Oliver Cabell white sneakers to get ready for winter and dressing well! Thanks for the tips Courtney
Where are you?

Another banger!! Perfect Sunday!!
Lol
Just bought a Green linen/silk suit from suit supply. Love the color for the Spring/summer season
Gorgeous! I love a green suit 🥰
Thanks for the insight. I have recently been doing an overhaul on my closet clothes/apparel!
For Denim: Origin Jeans. Very good quality and 100% American Made. Fits true to fit and size
I added a watch a few months ago on Courtney's advice. It's a nice way to make a low-key statement if you're not a 'peacock' type of dresser.
THANK YOU YOUR ADVICE REALLY SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY. SO REALLY THANK YOU FROM BOTTOM OF MY HEART. ❤
This is list is on point thanks Courtney!
Always a pleasure! 🤍
Lol..WTF
THANK YOU 🖤
Great advice for sure. Changed up my fit thanks to this and the girlfriend definitely approves. Suits and Blazers are a must for going out. Thanks Courtney
I love denim. Can't beat it. It's hard wearing too.
What would be a good place to look for trousers for the Oxford shirt and loafers look?
Thanks Courtney you're helping me a ton
Ma am you knocked it out of the park again with this video thank you , I love sweaters and dark denim
A must is a very nice suite and a shin on your Shoe's and a very nice dress hat.
Awesome video! Thank you for doing these from a woman’s perspective and helping us guys be more professional. Question: can you do some videos on a deeper explanation of men’s clothing differences like you explained oxford shirt vs regular dress shirt? Compare the differences in the shirts, coats, pants, etc and when they are best worn. Love these capsule and style videos but I struggle with picking the right style of shirt with the right occasion if that all makes sense. I think you insert some of that info throughout your videos but maybe a deeper dive?
God Bless You, Courtney. You work really hard to make sure us men are and project our best selves.
Shes been bless with large 🥥🥥
She'll never have to work a difficult job in her youth.
Eddie Bauer got great t plane t shirts and nice sweaters/jackets. Also, overland got awesome leather jackets for both men and women, but I do suggest to show up at the stores and try this stuff on for fit sizes varies by brands. Just an FYI
#12 - a stapler 😁
I'm a big fan of olive and tan suits, both in wool or cotton poplin. They shouldn't be your first suit, though, or even your second. I would say get charcoal and navy first, then if you need or want a third get olive - tan is only for the nice weather even if it's serge. Olive or tan looks great with a pink Oxford shirt, a tie with prominent navy or pastel blue, and matching walnut or cordovan belt and shoes.
Finally, not all suits of the same color will match your skin tone. Tan suits in particular can make you look like a millionaire or an anemia patient. This is where a disinterested second opinion can come in handy.
Some v-neck merino wool or cashmere sweaters pair nicely with dress shirts in colder climates
Naked and Famous (Japan)
Indigofera
Baldwin
Raleigh (USA)
Pure Blue Japan (Japan)
Rogue Territory (USA)
Rail Car (USA)
All great raw, selvedge denim with various cuts from various companies at various price points! I personally have pairs from N&F and Baldwin. They have lasted me years. With repair after repair they show tons of character and have transferred to the more casual outfits. Always have a fresh, solid dark denim pair. You only need 2-3 at max if you do this properly (depending on their condition and stage of life) and take care of them.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Any Athletic fit s?
@@alidabbagh5540 Yea. They have "tapered," which is a full/ normal seat and straight cut down to the thigh and then tapers down at the calf. Each company may call it different, but you just gotta read their cuts.
@@Slov_ Thanks
@@alidabbagh5540 I have big athletic thighs and found Brave Star Strongman fit to be one of the only selvedge denim that fits. Most selvedge denim companies lean towards skinny, extremely skinny, skeletal fits 😂
Courtney: you are such a great inspiration for men who want to look their best.
I have some oxford shirts and like then, but never knew any of that. I confess that back in the day I wore ties, I wore a tie with them
Hey Courtney, I love you channel as well as Teddy’s. I go to Teddy for watches and you for fashion/fragrance. I really value your woman’s perspective. My biggest concern is finding a way to stand out without going over the top…it’s always a delicate balance. I would love to see a video from you giving advice to guys on how to thread that needle.
Crockett and Jones 👌
Courtney many thanks for your advices ,could you make a video about "la veste de travail "?
I would love to hear some boot options as well as recommendations for nice white/cream colored T shirts to match with dark denim jeans.
What’s a good colour suit, shirt and tie combo for the evening part of a wedding?! 😊
Got all that and my own tuxedo.
Breathed a big sigh of relief when you said Redwing boots 😂
What are your thoughs on smart watches? Something from Garmin for instance?
I appreciate these videos, I've been longboarding and skateboarding for most my life so my challenge has always been looking nice coupled with "hey got the board in the back of the car and oh there's a nice spot"
Keeping it classy as usual!
PS One other thing for the list:
dress socks to go with the nice shoes.
These will be thinner than the heavy cotton socks we guys usually wear.
If you want to make a statement, or be a little more colorful, you can get them in argyle patterns.
Always choose natural fabrics. No matter what they say, anything synthetic will make your feet stinkier and sweatier.
Courtney, I really would appreciate your opinion. I love selvedge denim. What is your opinion on indigo stains on white t-shirts and white sneakers? And when is a raw denim too much worn in to be worn in the office with a button up shirt? I tend to use the newer dark indigo denim first in the office and when you see more patina only casual rugged style. But never be sure when to switch. Love your videos. Greetings from Germany.
VICHI WAS HERE SINCE 200 SUBSCRIBERS- 2024 - ROAD TO 1 MILL FOR MISS RYAN !!
Loved the video Courtney. I wish I could wear more jackets around the year. But the average weather here in Texas is 90 degrees half the time🤣 I always enjoy fall and winter, so I can layer and wear jackets to my heart’s content!
These are by far the best videos on your channel, Courtney. Although I am familiar and educated on all items/points- I find myself reminded of how important the basics are. Really well done- PS- shout out to Teddy and the new store, next time I travel to Cleveland I will absolutely be visiting!
I’m so glad! Hope we see you in the store soon! 🥰
I'm a big fan of a navy blue denim jacket; it makes layering for both weather conditions and style easy. Works with button ups, T-shirts, Henley's, a hoodie and cap, you name it.

@@BanditBronze You bet 😎🤝
Ooo, you showed the watch that Murph had in Interstellar. I'd love to have that one day.
It’s such a good one!
Love the recommendations. I’d love to see a video on clothing options for hot weather climates, 90 degrees +. Outside of a repetitive solid shorts, tee shirt, sneaker outfit I’m lost.
great list, thank-you! from a guy trying to style up :)
Rubber sole RM Williams boots, leather belts, Oxford leather study/work/utilities bag...
guys, make sure you have a good tailor for those suits. Unless you are built perfectly for the size, you'll need the arms shortened, back taken in, and the pants hemmed. Usually your local dry cleaner will do the alternations for you. Not free of course, but you can make it a one stop shop.
Spot on!
I had a bespoke suit made (took months) and the tailor said with the exception of this suit, im a near perfect 40R on most off-the-rack and just need the sleeves shortened and waist taken in 1 inch and no need to get another bespoke suit. This suit was tailored for court with a drape to conceal my firearm when I testify. I guess I'm lucky.
Speaking of suits:
Navy jacket and medium to lighter gray slacks as suit separates. A must.
Good quality and a good tailor will do you right.
White or blue dress button-down.
Black dress shoes.
And buy everything with a little room to spare. A good tailor will do right by you.
IMO, but it has worked for decades.
Arms shortened, they are always too short to begin with. Difficult to find anything with long enough sleeves that doesn't make me look like I lost 100 pounds.
@@davidoletep a slim/athletic fit in a 42 short off the rack fits me almost perfect. I only have to get the sleeves let out 1”. Im actually a regular, but prefer the way a short fits in the length of the jacket over the regular. The sleeves are not long enough in the Short.
Cuts shirts are great!!
Keep giving us tips and I think it's working well Taking your advice in certain styles that I needed to change I've got women attention on another level it's crazy 😂🤭 my buddy's are jealous at me now for no reason especially when we all go out, women approaches me more than what it was before. Sometimes staring. The funny part is... I'm not the one looking forward in a relationship yet my friend's are lol 🤣🤦♂️ ooh well... Not trying to sound cocky about it. It's just that my friend's wanted to know my secrets. Told them I don't have secrets just taking advice from an expert she master her craft following her dress style code what women are attracted to on a man. Thank you Courtney. It was a fun experience. Not doing it to manipulate women I'm not that kind a guy. Now sharing it with my friends what the positive outcomes from by talking advice from a woman perspective n that's coming from you Miss Courtney, I ain't taking no credit from it it's all because of you Courtney. You guys are on here please take her advse it's legit 💯
I need to declutter my wardrobe
I’m currently building my capsule wardrobe. And I currently have about 3 items on this list so far. It’s kinda hard because my body type is on the bigger side, so I’d have to really dig for some quality pieces. I also haven’t found a local tailor yet lol. But I’m also contemplating on picking up sewing as a personal skill to cultivate my own clothing as well. Thanks for the insight on important pieces!
How neat would that be to make your own clothes? 👏🏼 cool idea. As crazy as it might sound, check out thrift stores for suits and jackets. I’ve found some gems there that just need a good tailor… so find that tailor too! 😂
I would suggest heather grey undershirts over white because they blend in with the dress shirt. White would show an outline underneath.
I love denim and T-shirts
Excellent channel! Any suggestions on mens white casual sneakers or similar style to consider?
Yep cuts is great
Have every color t
Denim. Hard to find some that fit nicely when you workout. My go-to is Tommy Jeans straight cut.
I recommend Grant Stone boots. I own three pairs.
Would love to see you interview Teddy and have him give a rundown of his boot collection!
My favourite brand of watch is Fossil. They have a really nice style and are pretty affordable. I have three and all of them get compliments. But Courtney is right, regardless of the brand I think a nice watch is a really great accessory for a man
Ok, google is getting a bit too personal. I had an upcoming first date that I was talking to my buddies about and sure enough a first date mistakes video from Courtney shows up. Then I was complaining to my bros about how I need to upgrade my wardrobe game and sure enough, sure enough this video coincidentally shows up. Problems solved!
What are some selvedged brands ?
suade is nice i have one but you can't wear it in spring or winter it's mainly fall jacket
Hey Courtney I wanted your input here: I live in TX and as much as I love the idea of a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers, I also think a pair of lug sole derby’s might make more sense. I just want to have a pair of shoes that make my outfits look more sophisticated. I’m a college student and I’m always either at the cafe studying or outside taking walks and occasionally camping and shooting my guns at the national parks. What shoes do you think would make sense for me?
Yesterday I got me 2 solid white sneakers. 1 pair is for the gym and working out. The other is for casual wear. Finally those 2 occasions have their own pair of stylish shoes.
A have not found pair of jeans that does not accentuate my belly. Especially paired with a t-shirt. Any ideas? I know diet, exercise and or liposuction.
Could we see a capsule wardrobe of teddy or do features or reviews of other men's wardrobes
Courtney which boot do you think is the most versatile?
Fragrance as accessory too.
Kind regards!!
Sometimes I just watch these videos & smile. 😊
Hi Courtney, what do you think of a short sleeved polo shirt instead of the round crew neck t-shirts you suggested? I prefer the polo look instead especially if it's worn on it's own in the summer.
My clothes are based on your advice and Ashley Weston I'm really into this
Yay!
Courtney you should move to Northern Italy!! We dress like you mentioned every day of the week!
11 for 11! Nice to know my wardrobe would meet the Courtney stamp of approval. Also yes, all these things make for a very well rounded wardrobe.
Love it! ❤️
When did we start renaming Jeans @Denim@?
Answered my oxford button down question already.
I have a devil of a time finding lighter t-shirts (color-wise) that aren't sheer. That's why I tend to stick to darker hues. And all those boots look unbelievably uncomfortable. Lems makes great boots that look good but have a lot more room.
Recommendations where to shop for selvesged jeans? It’s hard to buy jeans in person let alone on-line…..
Courtney, you should consider evaluating some of your subscriber outfits! It could be a fun video to make
I (27M) bought one of the shirts you suggested in your spring video. My fiance really liked it. Thanks for the fashion recommendations. I think a lot of the other men who watch your videos get a lot of value out of them.
Courtney, I don''t even recall how I stumbled upon your channel, but your advice for men is so on-point, I find myself laughing and nodding! You also remind me of country singer, Kacey Musgraves - this is a a compliment! Keep doing what you are doing and saving men from themselves, lol.
Thank you so much! 🥰🩷
WE HAVE SAME DRESSING SENSE 🖤
Thanks for the video.
Since my health failed and took my career with it, the idea of spending two hundred dollars on a single pair of shoes is completely out of my budget. When I was in high school, a family friend passed away and left a pair of nice dress boots. They went around and around to various guys but never fit anyone. They finally ended up with me because they fit me fairly well. They had leather soles, so they didn't last that long. I can see where something like that would be nice for many men. I'll never be able to go in that direction again, but I understand someone wanting them.
I have a plain, dark blue sweater that I wear a bit in the winter. I don't know that anyone would find it attractive. It's more functional than fashionable. My first time through grad school was in Pennsylvania. The Woolrich sweaters with the Icelandic pattern of diamonds and stuff forming rings around the neck, chest, and back were fashionable then. In grad school, I couldn't afford one. Just before I got sick, I had the money to get one, but the Icelandic pattern seemed to have gone out of style and was hard to find. I can't make anything look good anyway. In a different world, I would have one of those for living in Wyoming. When I lived in Louisiana, I saw sweaters as worthless. A few people looked okay in them, but for some reason, a sweater in Louisiana just looked out of place.
I've known many women over the years who like white sneakers. I've never cared that much but have always had a slight preference for black sneakers. If I'd found someone when I was young enough to care, I would have been okay getting white sneakers. As it is, I just get black sneakers. Because my feet have become more and more oddly shaped as I've grown older, style is less important than finding something that doesn't make me go lame. If something that looks more like a gym sneaker can spare me from foot pain, I go with the gym sneaker.
I used to have some oxford shirts, and I liked them. I usually just went with white, but light blue would work. They worked pretty well for me.
I can't afford a tailored suit any longer. If I could, I would probably get one, but I live in a place where finding a tailor is very difficult.
I no longer own any traditional blue jeans. Women hate cargo pants, but I have a cargo body. Even when I was young and not overweight, I had thick thighs. Regular pants were uncomfortable and generally looked bad on me. I can remember the humiliation of being a kid and trying on pants and all of them looking wrong on me. I would consider pants that were cut as cargo pants but didn't have the cargo pockets if I needed to look nice. As it is, I wear pants with cargo pockets because of their utility. Years ago, I found a pair of pants made of a soft, dark denim, but they were cut as pleated dress pants. They actually fit me pretty well. I've moved twice since then, so I've lost them. Maybe they would be a look that you would approve. I can't even remember who made them.
My "go to" for forty years has been the short-sleeved polo shirt with three buttons, a collar, and a left breast pocket. I know that women hate that look, but that look feels right for me. I'm not attractive, and that shirt makes me look as if I'm trying to be respectful of the need not to look like a bum but doesn't make me look as if I'm trying to be fashionable which I'm not.
As I said on your recent watch video, the only kind of watch that I've owned for the past forty years has been the Casio. They do the job. They aren't pretentious. They are cheap enough that I didn't worry about damaging one when I worked in refineries and chemical plants. That's what I wear when I go places today. I'm also aware that women hate them. I appreciate the beauty of a nice, traditional watch. If I still had an income and went places where people would care, I would try to pick up a watch like that. At one time, I almost bought one that was subtlety decorated with a seal from my alma mater. That college has now gone "woke," so to Hell with them. I doubt that I'll ever get a nice, traditional watch. Both of my grandfathers had some nice enough watches, but I don't know where those watches ended up. I'm sure that none of them work. If I found one, I might try to find a modern watch that copied the same look just to throw back to grandfathers.
