Hi I just did the challenge and I didn't reach 1000 kills and I got it at 700.
Yeah apparently for some people it'll drop at lower KO counts. I don't know why. You can see in my video I definitely got it at 1000 kills though.

Savage-Dog maybe u playing on vita? Coz i played on vita and got 700 too. Same as other mystic weapon requirements too
Obviously because there’s not as many soldiers around as in ps3 or 4. Hardware limitations i guess
I tried in free mode and story mode, I still cant get it
I was able to get this weapon with 700 kills, maybe they nerfed the requirement after a patch or something.
i tried so many times, its not working for me. why is it? help...
Play on Hard, use Yoshitsune personally, pick up the weapon after it appears. One of these is usually the problem.
+Xaldin007 i already tried what u did on this video like 15x already. hard mode too. nothing is appearing. none at all. its frustrating. haha. nice video btw. ure the only one hu has dis.
Are you playing on the Redux version of the stage? Because it has to be the normal version.
