Helped feed a litter of kittens that my parents are raising up today. One of them spent as much time chewing on my finger as eating from the bottle. Dang thing just couldn't decide which tasted better.
olstar18 awww how adorable!! I fostered four baby kittens with their mother when they were 5 days old. They are still extremely cute at one and a hlaf years of age. So sweet. :)
Your videos have literally been lifesaving for our kitten. Born in our driveway, then abandoned by his mom, he survived overnight in 60 degree weather and foxes that roam our area. We've watched and learned from many of your videos and now he is turning five weeks old and starting the weaning process. After his rough start and numerous Vet visits to combat bowel infection, we named him Houdini. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much. I don’t think I could have done this without you. I’m crying right now because all of my kittens are so healthy because of you. They are three weeks and three days and I’ve bottle fed them since they were 24 hours old. They’re 4 healthy boys, thank you so much Kitten Lady. My boys and I love you, and you have inspired me to be able to do this again, and again. You are a true hero. Much love. 🐱💕
Also don't panic about their poo during the weaning stages. It can change a little from when they were on formula to when they start slurry formula all the way to full soft kitten food. If they get an upset stomach (diarrhea or vomiting) then maybe slow the weaning down to extend whatever stage they're at till they adjust. Fostering kittens is just so rewarding when they thrive & go to good homes (plus all the purrs...)
Hi! Please know that I have been following your step by step videos since July 15 when my husband and I rescued a kitten with the umbilical cord still apparent. Without you, I don’t think Tigerito would have survived. I’m getting ready for weaning in a few days. You have given me confidence and direction. I owe my little kittens life to you and will be eternally grateful for sharing your knowledge.
THANK YOU so much for all the informative videos! We just found a tiny kitten that was dumped out of a car in a shoe box :( she is safe now with us, I have honestly never seen or held a kitten that small (we think is about three weeks old) no idea what to do, but know thanks to your videos and information from other rescues online, we will try to get her happy, healthy, and in a forever home. Your message is inspiring thank you for all the work you do saving lives!
Thank you so much for rescuing the baby and keeping her safe. I am currently caring for a smol kitty as well. She’s a lot of work but she’s worth everything ❤️
Thank you so much for all the help. It's been a really scary experience raising my first neonate and I had to go off the book a bit. My little girl refused outright to eat with a bottle, she would only do the syringe, so I had to do a lot of small feedings a day and it's been exhausting. She's finally eating well. I've been so scared and anxious and I cried holding my little girl yesterday cause she just... helped me forget my depression, even for a little bit. And to see her flourishing from when I got her when she was so tiny... Just. I don't think I could have done it without your easy to understand and incredibly informative videos. Thank you thank you thank you
You never know. My son heard a baby crying. He tracked down the cry. Newborn hours old. Covered in amniotic fluid full umbilical cord. No momma in sight. He brought to me. She is now 16 days old. Doing GREAT!!
I found a kitten last week that was about 4 weeks old. I have watched so many of these videos and they are so informative. My little guy is now litter box trained thanks to you. I was so worried how I was going to wean him and now I feel confident I can do this.
Or sometimes you get a kitten who is food-motivated enough to eat her mom's kibble at 4 1/2 weeks old... (She was literally standing IN the plate we'd put down for the momcat.)
Yep. I definitely had a foster kitten who fell asleep *in* the food bowl. I find that it helps if the mom is around because then the kittens will see their mother eating the food and will sample whatever she is eating. My fosters were probably 3 weeks old, and they were sampling the dry food that the adults were eating because they saw the adults eating it. Not that they made a meal of it, but they ate a few bites. Around 4-5 weeks, they are capable of making meals of wet food, and nursing becomes more of a comfort than actual nutrition; keeping them with their mother until 8 weeks whenever possible is a matter of socialization and not a need for her to nurse them.
Kitten Lady you shouldn't use warm water from the tap. Hot water sits in the tank and collects lead from the tank. You should always use cold water from the tap for anything that goes in to food for kittens or humans. They can get lead poisoning especially since this is given to them every few hours every day for weeks.
although this may differ from country to country, all modern "plumbing" equipment (don't know how else to call it) is lead free. the heating tanks, or boilers w/e, are made of stainless steel and other neutral/non-reacting materials. if there was lead in the tanks it wouldn't be safe to even shower with this water. more than that, different countries have different tap water qualities. in my country we drink and cook with tap water, while in some other EU countries that's a big NO-NO.
Thank you for making this video! One of our ferals that we brought in @ about 10 months got pregnant right before we brought them in. Everyone, as of tonight, is weaned, but one. Three of them started eating Momma's wet food w/ her in the crate (XL dog crate), about a week ago. Another that I think is the runt, Brice, she was still nursing, but would eat straight meat like chicken breast, fish & tuna. But, she wouldn't eat wet kitten food. Tonight, I noticed she's eating from the bowl, woohoo! Blossom, the first born, was born in the litterbox because we dk Turtle was even pregnant. She might have been the first born, but she's the most stubborn. She refuses to do nothing but nurse @ 11 weeks. Now, Turtle won't feed her @ all. Like I said, thank you so much! I was in need of some answers very quick!
Thank you 🙏❤️I found a box of kitten thrown on the side of the road and I saved them. They were probably about three week old. It’s Been hard work but well worth it for these precious babies your video has helped so much🥰✨I am starting the weaning process as I speak🥰❤️
I want to be just like you when I grow up I LOVE kittens/cats and I'd love to foster them and see them grow a little bit and have someone adopt them plus I'd get to have new kittens ALL the time
My former foster bottle babies just got adopted today!! this video helped me so much during their weaning week and a half. it's so bittersweet I'm elated they have good homes but I miss them so much
We have adopted two kittens that were abandoned at birth. They were still wet when we found them. No, mom was not coming back. We intervened when it was apparent that the kittens were failing. I just wanted to share that I am so thankful to have found the Kitten Lady. Thanks for helping our babies prosper. Our vet was actually impressed and that is not normal. LOL
You have been a massive help. I rescued a kitten who was 3 days old. And without your videos I wouldn’t of got through the whole thing. Your an inspiration and you have helped me out so much! I don’t watch any other videos but yours! So thank you without you I don’t think my Martha would of survived. :)
Thank you for this incredible tutorial. It worked. Two of my most stubborn kitties are starting to eat food. And it's only been 3 days. Thank you Soo much😄😄😄
You're my new superhero Kitten Lady! You're videos are so informative and easy to follow and you do such tremendously good job with the kittens.. really inspiring ❤️
Once they're confident with wet food, they can be introduced to dry as well -- but I do not recommend taking them off of wet. The wet food is really important for their little growing bodies! I'm making lots of videos over the coming months, and will keep that suggestion in mind!
You never need to transition them to dry food. In general, adult cats prefer wet food over dry. I had some fosters that started with dry food around 3 weeks (when they had canine teeth but no front teeth, which was hilarious in its own right). They weren't serious about it, but they were pecking at it because they saw the adults eating the dry food, and they were curious. You could try leaving dry food out for them to experiment with as long as they know that wet food will be available whenever they need it.
I agree. Even adult cats should get wet and dry food, and put multiple cat fountains or dishes in different rooms that they often hang out in so they have plenty of opportunities for hydration. Cats need lots of moisture.
On Tuesday, the maintenance guys at my work found an abandoned kitten out back but the customer pick up area, under a pile of skids. I took her home as soon as I could. She seemed about 3-4 weeks of age but very underweight and the bottle and syringe wasnt doing anything. Vet said to start trying wet food and shes got so much stronger and healthier since! Little Luna is what brought me to your videos. And let me tell you what, you are NOT wrong about them being messy 😂.
I have some left over slurry that my little guy didn't eat, do you think it would be ok in the fridge until his next feeding? Also, is heating it up a bad idea? Thanks so much!! Btw your vids are incredibly helpful and I'm glad you've dedicated your time to these amazing little creatures. :)
That should be fine. KMR has a shelf life of about 24 hours once it is reconstituted. You wouldn't want to leave it around for any serious length of time, but until later that day should be alright. Heating it would be good, just make sure that you don't over-heat it. Too cold is better than too hot.
This video truly helped in getting to wean my baby kitten, Saturn, after 4 months of trying. I'm a first time kitten mom and he was the youngest born out of his litter. Patience was key here but this tutorial really helped. Thank you!
I cannot tell you how helpful these videos have been. I have never raised an orphaned kitten before and every single step of the way, your videos helped me raise our little guy. Thank you so so much for posting these videos! You are amazing and such a huge help to all the newbies out there
Just wanted you to know you've helped so much. 13 days ago I was in car pick up line at my son's school and it was 90° here. As I pulled off I saw what looked like a paralysed rat on the asphalt. It meowed. I jumped out and put her in the car (son held her) she was burned, dehydrated, burned and wouldn't have made it another 10 minutes if she didn't get ran over. We finally got her stabilized. I went and bought kitten formula. She looked to be maybe 6-9 days old. One eye barely open. She was a mess. I looked up kitten videos and you popped up. It's bc of you that I knew how to bottle feed her. I also ordered miracle nipple at your suggestion. Heating pad,pur comfort cat etc. I watched a few videos to see what to do. She's the smallest kitten I've raised. I have 5 other cats. We're also keeping her. She's doing so well. I wish I could show you pictures then and now. Her progression daily is on FB And.ig. @ssmithtiffany2008 if you want to look from the day we found her up until today. Her name is Mira. Pronounced M-EE-RA. Short for "miracle*. Also means *admirable*. She's one determined kitten. I did go back to look for her mom,no luck. I donated to your place. Thanks for all you do. 😻🐆🐈🐾🧡
I just started my 4 week old orphan on a meat bottle today after watching this video. Boy, was it popular! I got the biggest air biscuits 😻Thank you for your tips and videos. You’ve helped me and my little guy immensely!!
I am fostering four 4-and-a-half week old kittens. I had to return their mom to the shelter today because she's very sick. So now, I am the cat mom. I have been supplement feeding the babies and adding slurry for about 4 days. Yes, I was doing it correctly. Now without mom, I have moved to the slurry bowl and will still feed them formula from a bottle to ensure they continue to gain weight.. Thank you, Kitten Lady. This is the re-inforcement I need.
How often should I feed them? My kittens are almost 6 weeks old, still have their mom. I didn’t realize I was supposed to mix the wet food with a liquid but 2/3 have been eating it. They do still eat from momma too. I’ve only been giving it to them once a day. Love your videos! Thank you!!
I understand now. The vet told me to introduce wet food when she is 3 weeks, but she isn’t interested yet. So I’ll wait till she’s 4 weeks and start with the bottle. I started with the bowl. Thanks for your video. It helped a lot
Thank you for your videos. I've been taking care of feral cats in my neighborhood. Long story but your videos have helped a million with a litter that the mother abandoned. First group of bottled feed kittens.
I have a kitten at 8 weeks who has not been weaned (I just got her yesterday) Will this affect her developing or cause illness? I'm really worried for her because she is extremely small for an 8 week kitten. I took her to the vet the day I got her and they told me she was malnourished and had not been weaned, should I wean her the same way off of the formula she had been drinking and kitten food or should I do it differently becuase she's older Update: I tried to get her drinking slurrie but she puked after she drank it and I tried with a different kitten food but again she threw up again so I took her to the vet and she had a multiple parasites and is now being monitered there, Pray for little Layla ♥️
@@jaysrabbitholejaysonallen7989 no, her previous owner started weaning her at 8 weeks but she doesnt drink anything. She will only have a few sips of something and then walk away from it
I love you so much! I found an abandoned kitten 2 weeks ago and your videos have been helping me raise her. She is a weakling, probably that's why left behind by the mom, but very playful. She's about to enter her week 4 in a couple of days. Will follow your guide to wean her. Thanks much! Xoxo..
We adopted a mama cat that was pregnant and now has 4 kittens this is my 1st time and your video is amazing and helpful and you yourself are beautiful thank you
We have been feeding our 6 week old kittens wet, soft CAT food....... I don’t know if they are old enough. We don’t feed them formula or anything. we took two kittens away from there momma at about 6 weeks, and my grandma feeds all her cats hard food in the morning and half of soft cat food and leftovers from supper at night, and the kittens eat that....... plz tell me if it is too early to feed them soft cat food😬
technically they can be on cat food but its best to be on kitten food as its formulated to give them everything they need to grow and develop into cats
I just wanted to say thank you!!! Without the help of your videos idk where my kitties would be in their growth. Momma left them for dead after birth so I've been their bottle since day one and your videos have gotten me to where we are today. They will be 4 weeks in 2 days and we just got a play pen so they have some more room to roam, liter train, and start weaning!! Again thank you so much, you are awesome!!
I had 3 kittens born out my back yard 5 weeks ago. Mamma was young and feral and left them. I've been their mamma ever since. 1 died at two days old but he was considerably weaker then the other two, even though he was the biggest. I got a playpen too and it's great..they use the litter tray, have snuggly blankets with a snugglesafe. I've tried mashing kitten food on a plate with formula but no, they're not interested yet. I'll do the slurry in a bottle. They are great on the bottles. He's 500g and she's between 450 - 500g. He was 88g born and she was a teeny 77g. They are zippy little things at running and climbing and so smart and love cuddles with their hooman family. It's great to see them thrive and do new things every day. Xxxx
I have two four week old kittens that I am fostering, I am giving them canned food but it is not the specific kitten food is that okay that its not the specific kitten labeled can?
Thank you Kitten Lady ... your videos have helped me raise my little munchkins. I started with a litter of 5, day-old abandoned kittens and now i have three very happy healthy 5 week old kittens :) They went cray cray when they had their first meat bottle and as they were getting frustrated with the meat blocking the nipple all the time I actually got them eating off a plate within a couple of feeds. And oh my the mess they make lol ... I have one that tries to lie in it to block her siblings
As a new kitten mom ( our kitten was abandoned by the mom cause she was a runt at just over 2 weeks old) we have been learning as we go with bottle feeding and getting her to potty and just trying to get her used to being indoors and held. Now she is finally at 4.5 weeks and have been trying to figure out the weaning process. This video was a life saver thank you!
If you have a child, Miss Shaw, it will be one of the most well nurtured kids ever. You are very maternal and caring. Yes, kittens are different from children but routine and tenacity are the best qualities in child rearing.
Thx so much! We have a kitty Minerva and she hated meat and she only drank the kitten milk.... now thanks to you she is eating the “hard” food with such joy! THX soo much!💕🐈🍼🥩
The momcat my friends took in didn't seem to be in any hurry to wean her kittens. They watched her eat and got the idea. For a long time, they were eating food but also nursing. One of them she even let nurse until he was about six months old. By that time he was bigger than she was! But obviously he was getting most of his nutrition from regular food.
They encourage the kittens to eat meat while still nursing them. The kittens will try the meat, and as time passes, they will eat more and more meat, and drink less and less from their mommy, until they are completely weaned. That's how it works for all mammal predators.
We have 2 kittens - 3.5 weeks old. Bottle feeding is going great now. Next step is transitioning them but they are definitely younger than the ones in this video. The wet kitten food will help greatly plus putting it in a bottle with formula. We were advised to mash down dry food and mix with formula/water and leave the bowl of ‘gruel’ in the basket with them. Great video
My friend found this kitten on a rainy night so he took her and then contacted me asking if I wanted her, I am an animal lover and I'll do anything to save a life so I took her, her name is Lilith she's only 3 almost 4 weeks old and I need to take her to the vet but I'm currently unemployed so I don't have the extra money to pay for vet bills so I finally decided to make a go fund me for Lilith in hopes that there's people out there who would want to help save a life, so far nobody has donated which breaks my heart because I'm doing everything I can to try to get money put together for her vet bill, I'm selling stuff of Craigslist and nobody has contacted me. This is truly my last hope for this kitten. If you can please donate, help save this little baby's life. www.gofundme.com/HelpLilithLive
I looked at the website for donations and I will try to earn some pocket money to help you save Lilith. I love animals and will try my hardest to help out.🐈🐱
I have been taking care of this kitten since she was less than 24 hours old, she was left in a parking lot after Hurricane Harvey passed through. She is almost ready to start weaning and I found this very video very helpful, I am going to try it out hopefully this Wednesday as she will be 4 weeks old. She started attacking the screen during this video haha
I got my orphaned little kitten a week before this Hurricane Ian just came to Florida! We were in the direct path of it in Port Charlotte. Trying to figure out how to refrigerate and reheat the formula without electricity was a huge challenge! How is your kitty doing now?
I have raised several litters of orphaned kittens. I've found that chicken baby food works well as a transition during weaning. Once they are about 3.5-4.0 weeks I'll start offering them some on a spoon at meal time. Once the accept the food on a spoon it winds up being a very quick transition to eating on their own out of a dish. With the litter I'm raising right now I'm using small dishes about 3" in diameter rather than using a bigger dish. I've found this helps keep them cleaner because they can't crawl inside the dish. It also allows me to separate them so one doesn't try to hog the food.
Thank you so much for being you...sharing so much knowledge. I came upon 4babies after their mom get hit by a car...I’ve been taking care of them, but it’s so hard to find a place that I can foster through...I don’t mind loving these babes, but financially is becoming hard.i already have 3 cats and a dog of my own. I need to learn about weaning them...
We've been rescuing for nearly 30 years. We've placed over 500 kittensas in the last 20 years and we're so it privately. Signdr of the best tips i've gotten are thru other rescuers. This video is a perfect example of that..pedialyte mixed with formula!! Genius...
Thank you so much for this video! I have adopted a mother cat who had kittens 7 weeks ago and one kitten of the four just wasn't eating any solid food and though he had always been the second heaviest, had lost second place to one of the female kittens. I helped him out with finger food and then he graduated to eating from the plate and all is well!
Thank you so much 🥺💕my 3 week old kitten is now eating from the saucer with his kitten meal and a little bit of cat food (very soft) with a dash of kitten milk your the best!
Thank you so much for this video. This is my first time fostering and I was given bottlefeed babies and with the tips that I was given from this video I finally transitioned them to eating canned food
Your videos are amazing! I have never liked cars but we found two very loud and hungry kittens without their mum in our shed. Your videos have helped so much and I’ve become a cat lover!
I really appreciate your videos. This is my second orphaned kitten I have rescued, both by accident. The first one I adopted after and have had her, Cassidy, for two years now. This one, Stormy, my parents have expressed interest in. I'm still bottle feeding her for now.
This vid is amazing, I got a 4-week old kitten that was dumped in my garden. I and the wife have tried to give meat but the kitten isn't having none of it so we are giving it a bottle. We were worried that we were doing things wrong by giving the bottle and not insisting the kitten go on meat as this is the first time we have done this. I will deffo try the slurry mix after a quick vet trip to ensure that kitten is at a good weight and healthy. thank you for the vid
You’re teaching me soooo much! A cat just had 5 kittens under my house. Wev had to step In and wel be getting them all fixed and theyll be very loved and cared for!
Your videos are so helpful, i can't even tell you how grateful i am for all the information you teach. i´m currently taking care of four orphan kitten and you and me save their life haha
i learned a lot from you i’m really grateful for every single video i watched now i go back to this channel whenever i need to know something about taking care of kittens and i know that i’ll find it
I hats people like talk for so long and explain but really the way kitten lady explains it's like so interesting and I bet we all understood each word she said
This method works well. I been feeding him slurry for a few days but he still won't eat by himself. Today he found some butter my other cat ate on a small plate and started licking it, so I quickly replaced it with wet food and he ate the whole thing. I have to give you credit but the butter is the MVP, they can't say no to it.
Thank you so much! Your video was so helpful. I've fostered neonatal kittens for a little over a year and have struggled with the weaning process and your method was so easy on both the kitten and me ;-)
Whaa-boom! I found one of those springy wire balls two years ago in a park, and I kept it because is was cool but I didn't know what the heck it was. Now I know. What a weight off my shoulders! Thanks Kitten Lady!
Thank you for your video guide. My little Simba is eating slurry for the first time on his dish just now, i think 2 more days he can move to stage 3. So happy that he is making progress now.
I will never even be able to foster a kitten because I'm allergic. Still I'm watching all of your videos because there are always so many cute kitties in there :D I love it!
My wife has been rehabbing and fostering kittens for over 10 years now and we finally got one that is just not getting it. We also breed Irish wolfhounds and I am very animal centric but just can't seem to communicate it to him. The problem is he has an upper respiratory problem in his sinuses. We don't know if treatable yet but he's receiving antibiotics and an antiviral 'lovir' of some sort... hopefully it clears and he starts to take interest in solid food soon. Great video thank you!
I'm impressed with how calmly your kittens take the bottle. it's like a wrestling match with my 4 week old.
My kitten wrestles at feeding time too.
Thank goodness I thought it was my 3-4 week old kitten, it is a nightmare
same lol i thought it was just my kitten that acts like that
Nah fr my two week old acts like WWE wrestler when she knows I gotta feed her lmao
I'm a neonatal kitten rescue and half of the time it's them crying , bouncing around, wrestling Tasmanian devils!
From now on when I bottle feed slurry, I'm gonna chant "Meat bottle, meat bottle, meat bottle."
lol
Very cute
Lmaoooo -slurry- *m e a t b o t t l e*

Helped feed a litter of kittens that my parents are raising up today. One of them spent as much time chewing on my finger as eating from the bottle. Dang thing just couldn't decide which tasted better.

I can watch those kittens forever can you do like a 15 minute video or longer of the kittens playing? They are too cute!
Omg we have the same profile picture 😲
kitten academy constantly live streams their cats and you could watch as much kittens as you want
Jimmy Cat dxxx
Honestly she should just drop a 24 hour time lapse video of the kitten room. I want to see them play!
+1

Very informative video and the kittens are too adorable! P.S.- I love your kitten dress!
Thank you! The dress is from a really great brand called Pretty Snake. They have tons of kitten stuff.

I love when after a cat eats how they lick there lips it's so adorable
Thank you 🙏❤️I found a box of kitten thrown on the side of the road and I saved them. They were probably about three week old. It’s Been hard work but well worth it for these precious babies your video has helped so much🥰✨I am starting the weaning process as I speak🥰❤️
I just found a 6 week old kitten and I'm learning how to feed her correctly. Your videos are gold. Thank you!
The blender bottle idea has been a lifesaver. Thank you! Your videos have been my lifeline, thank you for putting this info out.
Perfect timing! I'm trying to wean my ~4 week old now and didn't think to do a slurry bottle first. Thanks!
I want to be just like you when I grow up I LOVE kittens/cats and I'd love to foster them and see them grow a little bit and have someone adopt them plus I'd get to have new kittens ALL the time

I'm learning for my volunteer job.
LOL
I love Jelly. She's so sweet.
Thank you Soo much😄😄😄
My kitten is a newborn I learnt how to feed my kitten by watching your videos.thanks!
You're my new superhero Kitten Lady! You're videos are so informative and easy to follow and you do such tremendously good job with the kittens.. really inspiring ❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I have an orphan kitten that started eating wet/milk at 5 weeks. I’m so glad to see your method to ween her into the bowl
2 questions!!
1) When should you transition them to dry food and how?
2) Can you make a video about how to tell the age of a kitten?
Once they're confident with wet food, they can be introduced to dry as well -- but I do not recommend taking them off of wet. The wet food is really important for their little growing bodies!
I'm making lots of videos over the coming months, and will keep that suggestion in mind!
+Kitten Lady So when is it time to completely remove them from wet food?
You never need to transition them to dry food. In general, adult cats prefer wet food over dry. I had some fosters that started with dry food around 3 weeks (when they had canine teeth but no front teeth, which was hilarious in its own right). They weren't serious about it, but they were pecking at it because they saw the adults eating the dry food, and they were curious. You could try leaving dry food out for them to experiment with as long as they know that wet food will be available whenever they need it.
I wouldnt feed your cat just dry food, as my cats kidneys failed after only eating dry food, as they need a lot of moisture
Love how their lil paws raise up to touch the bottle while feeding 😭😭❤
You won’t love it in real life when they have their claws out trying to get more milk from you. Trust me.
My kitten became aware that he loved me at right away and loved the mixture so much! Great video very helpful blessing!
Good to know - mine said 40 minutes!
This video truly helped in getting to wean my baby kitten, Saturn, after 4 months of trying. I'm a first time kitten mom and he was the youngest born out of his litter. Patience was key here but this tutorial really helped. Thank you!
“Are you a predator?”
3:50 : “yes meowmy” 🥰🥰
"I am a tiny predator"💜
You helped me so much with my kittens Marshmallow and Popcorn!

I took her to the vet the day I got her and they told me she was malnourished and had not been weaned, should I wean her the same way off of the formula she had been drinking and kitten food or should I do it differently becuase she's older
Update: I tried to get her drinking slurrie but she puked after she drank it and I tried with a different kitten food but again she threw up again so I took her to the vet and she had a multiple parasites and is now being monitered there, Pray for little Layla ♥️
IGW2 how is layla??
I have 2 6 week old kittens and they won't go near food either ??
My 11 week opd wont drink anything. She only has a couple sips of milk or water and thats it
@@bitchee_unkxnd8222 is it still feeding from Mom ??
@@jaysrabbitholejaysonallen7989 no, her previous owner started weaning her at 8 weeks but she doesnt drink anything. She will only have a few sips of something and then walk away from it
I love you so much! I found an abandoned kitten 2 weeks ago and your videos have been helping me raise her. She is a weakling, probably that's why left behind by the mom, but very playful. She's about to enter her week 4 in a couple of days. Will follow your guide to wean her. Thanks much! Xoxo..
Too bad there is no way of knowing why there are 15 thumb downs. Are those thumbing down the ones that are crazy animal lovers?
They probably thought it was the 'dis I like' button

It should definitely be labelled kitten food! It has a different makeup than adult food.
@@blurgit I think ur a bit too late lol
@Siena Marshall idk cuz I’m not that professional but I started feeding them adult food at 8 months...
@Siena Marshall they can eat wet food at 5 weeks or 6 if u want to know more ask google

How do we know when they're full?
Mine ends up having a full stomach but still meows for more.
This video was a life saver thank you!
love jelly she so cute
If you have a child, Miss Shaw, it will be one of the most well nurtured kids ever. You are very maternal and caring. Yes, kittens are different from children but routine and tenacity are the best qualities in child rearing.
How to wear kittens? wait...
Nvm.
Cruella Devil kitten version!? Omg xD
XD the new way of FASHION
Thx so much! We have a kitty Minerva and she hated meat and she only drank the kitten milk.... now thanks to you she is eating the “hard” food with such joy! THX soo much!💕🐈🍼🥩
How much meals do you give them a day??
For around 4 week old kittens, i'd say every 4 - 6 hours.
Fantastic. My kittens are 31/2 weeks old and now I can make a slurry bottle instead of the messy slurry on their own. Thank you!
How do cat mothers wean their kittens? They cant make slurpee (is that how you spell it?) so what do they do?
Teko The Freeloader they leave the kittens once their about 4-5 weeks old
badgirls socute So the momma cats dont actually wean them? Wont the kittens just follow the mommas? Can they really survive in the wild at 4-5 weeks
The momcat my friends took in didn't seem to be in any hurry to wean her kittens. They watched her eat and got the idea. For a long time, they were eating food but also nursing. One of them she even let nurse until he was about six months old. By that time he was bigger than she was! But obviously he was getting most of his nutrition from regular food.
werelemur1138 Ok
I love animals and will try my hardest to help out.🐈🐱

any update?
I would donate if I could but it says no link found....?

I wish someone had such a good channel as you for puppies, lol your content is much better than most other people’s
Your videos are so helpful, i can't even tell you how grateful i am for all the information you teach. i´m currently taking care of four orphan kitten and you and me save their life haha
i learned a lot from you
i’m really grateful for every single video i watched
now i go back to this channel whenever i need to know something about taking care of kittens and i know that i’ll find it
Thank you. I'm bottle feeding 3 orphans that just turned 3 weeks- they're progressing nicely.
Oof never wean on 3 weeks.
I don't have a kitten but you videos are so cute
that is the only reason I watch you videos
Your videos are the best! They’ve really came in handy with my newborn orphan kitty. Idk what I wouldve done without them! Thank you!!
Thanks for this instructional video. It has helped me to wean my very FIRST bottle-fed foster kitten. 😺
Your videos are awesome and your foster kittens are so cute I want to cry.
I'm hooked to your kitten videos ... you are an angel ... & I hope you get everything you want in life ...
I love when you're bottle feeling kittens and their ears wiggle.
This was both informative and very adorable. I'm looking after my own little orphan and she's just almost 3 weeks old.
I will never even be able to foster a kitten because I'm allergic. Still I'm watching all of your videos because there are always so many cute kitties in there :D I love it!
hello hannah my name is hannah i am ten years old and i foster kittens thank you for making these videos they really help me
My wife has been rehabbing and fostering kittens for over 10 years now and we finally got one that is just not getting it.
They r just the cutest!!!
Thanks for the transitioning from bottle to dish!
Very informative video and the kittens are too adorable! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
