Then Brooklyn proceeded to take a step back this year, but actually looked pretty good whenever Kyrie was hurt and not playing. Also, show me point guard who is shoot and dribble first, defense never, and also mentally shaky as far as toughness ... who has also led his team to a lot of success. That player doesn’t exist.
MegaGolgo13 How was he joking? He elaborated on his belief during a long form podcast, then refused to talk about it when people brought up in media scrums after games. Maybe he said he was joking to not have to talk about it, but the original talk about his belief in the flat Earth appeared to be sincere.

She is one of those girls that can really help womens basketball grow. A sport that often gets dismissed by a good portion of the population. Having a face of a sport can do wonders. Hopefully once her playing career is over in a few decades she can be a great coach as well

Turns out she was really that good. First freshman ever to win AP Player of the Year. I love the hecklers who were chanting "overrated". I wonder how many points and assists she got against their team that game and whether they were still chanting at the end ... lol. At the end of the game she probably waved to them and thanked them for coming!

@@thunderswag1249 nah, Paige pretty much got more overrated-chants when she played. in the opening season, away games, sectional championship, you name it. and not to be that person, but Paige always got the gym packed more than Caitlin does when they were in high school.

Playing on varsity as an 8th grader is wilddd. Shes grown sm through these years but just looking back at these old high school plays, it just goes to show how talented of a player she really is. I love Paige and I have loved Paige for a while now and I find myself coming back to these videos every now and then, just because I can’t get over how amazing she is and how amazing she was at such a young age.

It’s normal for girls since girls don’t develop a large amount of muscle as they get older, so the only limiting factor is how good you are and there aren’t many girls as good as Paige.
She is a female Larry Bird, with great shooting, passing, and confidence.

When you watch a basketball player move forward with the ball, and they looked like they're dribbling in slow motion at x5 speed but still have smoothness about them , and despite the start-&-stops or acceleration motions in a game, you know that person is a really good basketball player.
Some players might have incredible handles and on-ball skills, but you watch them dribble up the court and you can tell that they dont have "it", just from watching the way they move with the ball. I remember watching a highlight video of this girl a few months ago and i was amazed. But if you just showed me clips of her dribbling up the court, i would still be amazed. You can see the confidence and skill, like an aura, just ooze out of her. Players like that are special. I coach basketball and ive seen 2-3 guys like that. Im sure people here have seen players in that same ilk, just by watching them dribble in the backcourt

Edit: turns out she's 18. But still, there is still a long time yet for her body and muscles to develop so she won't get knocked around especially in the paint on drives against WNBA forwards and centers.

They need to lower the baskets a foot like they do the nets in volleyball for women. They would get a ton more spectators.
