I was 15 then and didn't get to go but I watched both matches and they were great. I was disappointed we didn't grab a win in either match but well done to Celtic.

Greetings from the US 🇺🇲 I've really come to appreciate the history and tradition of the sport of football ⚽️ throughout the UK and all the clubs, and the rivalries like this one Celtic vs Rangers, for example and the connection the teams have with their communities. There isn't really anything like it in North American sports. We have teams like the Boston Celtics, LA Lakers or New York Yankees with storied history, but the Fandom and unmitigated passion that the fans have for their teams is something that professional North American sports definitely lack. I listened to a famous football podcast. All they had to comment on this final was that there were a few Japanese players playing for Celtic! Footy adventures has absolutely deserved to be part of the press on this game! No where else would we have viewed the scenes of the Dunfermline athletic fans going wild at Falkirk. Brilliant reporting!

Fact...Rangers f2f 1872 did not come back up from anywhere. Rfc1872 sits in liquidation as we speak. A new company was set up called Sevco. It had to apply for entry into league but they got to use old dead clubs licence. Sfa shoehorned them into 3rd division which was corruption other more honest teams should have legally got that position. They then had to get permission to use the name The Rangers commercial reasons won which again was corruption. They were incorporated 2012 ..birth date
It's worth noting out that their first fixture against Brechin City FC was delayed because the previous Rangers still held their SPFL license. They actually played games under the club name Sevco 5088 Scotland, the name of the newco. The important thing to remember is both clubs existed and held separate licenses at the same time. I'd be very interested to know how this was possible if they were the same club.
I think you'll find it was finance based. Ridiculous decision. But all about money. Rangers would rather sell the seats all season than risk floating fans to fill them. Ibrox is too small now. If it wasn't they could accommodate 50,000 STs and 10k Celtic fans. That's the reality. When I grew up there were 20k Rangers fans at PH. Those days are long gone. Sad. But how it is

I’m a Celtic man and absolutely love my team, and love beating ‘The Rangers’ but I’m no mug when it comes to believing that they feel as passionately about their team as we do ours. Jokes, banter, some more serious opinions/views aside, and despite some people’s opinions, we are entirely similar in what we expect and demand from our teams. Despite the tremendous hatred between the fansbases, we all share a common passion and determinedness for our teams to win no matter what opposition is in front of us. Correcting you again - Rangers were not ‘Put down the leagues’ ! The old club ceased to exist and a new club had to apply for membership to the then Scottish Football League.

Just 1 error in your post match summary, Rangers didn't get put down. Not by the SFA, SPL or SFL. Rangers became insolvent (bankrupt), Sevco bought all the assets & applied to SPL but weren't allowed in. Therefore they applied to SFL & got a place in SFL3. It's all on record. Scottish football wanted/needed a rival to Celtic & facilitate Sevco buying Rangers SFA membership, but only after Sevco got a place in SFL3 It's in: SFA handbook Articles of Association. Article 6.2 A club or association shall be admitted as a registered member automatically by reason of its being admitted as a member of an Affiliated Association or an Affiliated National Association, or in the case of a club through membership of or participation in an association, league or other combination of clubs formed in terms of Article 18. Sevco applied to & got a place in SFL3. 1 Week later it acquired Rangers membership of SFA. Not a put down, just fact. 👍

Hampden is a really poor national stadium. Look at the national stadium in Cardiff. Close, High and great views from wherever you are. Far to flat which means a lot of fans are far too far away from the pitch.

The audio in this vlog is incredible. It actually picks up the atmosphere really well. Still falls just short of being in stadium tonhear it with your own ears but very close. Celfic fans were incredible

Genuinely stumbled upon your content after your coverage of the BTS of the tie between Celtic and Athletico, but after watching the video and letting the next few play on, I must say, your content is fantastic to watch. Completely unbiased, no faltered previous opinions of the fixture and a balanced view of how it feels to both sides to come up against each other. I’m a Celtic man and absolutely love my team, and love beating ‘The Rangers’ but I’m no mug when it comes to believing that they feel as passionately about their team as we do ours. Jokes, banter, some more serious opinions/views aside, and despite some people’s opinions, we are entirely similar in what we expect and demand from our teams. Despite the tremendous hatred between the fansbases, we all share a common passion and determinedness for our teams to win no matter what opposition is in front of us. I'm basically the opposite of you, I'm Scottish living in England and because I've been down here since I was 3 I've grown up with an English neutral accent, it throws everybody completely when I say I'm Scottish but if course I get the Rangers or Celtic question like everyone else does, I always reply "well my Home towm team is Caley Thistle, otherwise I support Pollok"

Correcting you again - Rangers were not ‘Put down the leagues’ ! The old club ceased to exist and a new club had to apply for membership to the then Scottish Football League.

Hampden Park looks like it needs a refurbishment and expanded capacity. Scottish football deserves that.
Just 1 error in your post match summary, Rangers didn't get put down.
Not by the SFA, SPL or SFL.
Rangers became insolvent (bankrupt), Sevco bought all the assets & applied to SPL but weren't allowed in. Therefore they applied to SFL & got a place in SFL3.
It's all on record.
Scottish football wanted/needed a rival to Celtic & facilitate Sevco buying Rangers SFA membership, but only after Sevco got a place in SFL3

Hampden is a really poor national stadium. Look at the national stadium in Cardiff. Close, High and great views from wherever you are. Far to flat which means a lot of fans are far too far away from the pitch.
