I'm totally addicted to Creature Features! I've been watching every night since I found you guys! Love Tangella, Vincent, and Livingston! Can't wait to see this film!
Me too, and the weirdest thing happened, I was trying to find a film that I only saw half of when I was a kid, first I thought it was called the entity but when I looked it up it wasn't it, then I thought it was called the kindred but that wasn't it either, and I just remembered the tuning forks and the flying eels, and I saw them on creature features thumbnail!!!!! It was From Beyond!
I've probably said it before, but thank you. No matter the movie, you bring back memories from my childhood with the horror host bit. From Sammy Terry to Frtz the Night Owl on Night Owl Theater. Even Dr. Creep. Then after the shows we'd stay up till dawn playing atari, great times with my grandma. Thanks again
'The Pit'; brought to you by Canadians since this is a Canadian horror flick. For some, it may seem like the pits, but it has a great twist ending that is very satisfying. 🙂
For the millionth time stop exaggerating. Thank you very much we will be here all week.We can also be hired for celebrations anniversary and mitzvah s.
53:00 oh wow. The writers really wrote a surprisingly deep message combining metaphor & literalism into one. I would have never guess. This scene right here made me realize the entire thing looking back! For a movie I thought was just cheesy into a pretty cool artistic expression. his mother molests him in the bath! Omg that’s why he’s obsessed with older women & boobs as well as why he is mentally disturbed & socially awkward but who actually wants to have friends & be loved so badly. The people he wants to be close with him reject him but the creatures don’t. He feeds the people he is hurt by to the creatures that he feels are his friends. Even further, the creatures are literal monsters he feels needed by & close to just as the only person that showed him attention he interpreted as love but truly a monster in human form. Wow he didn’t recognize his mother as a monster just as he didn’t recognize the monsters weren’t any more than monsters bc the people in his life are more like monsters than the monsters themselves.
Another 80s gem! Kudos to the CF intro! From the soulful wolf howling to the cool rock song 🎸with Godzilla screeching at the start gets me pumped for the movie. The letter reading segment was so funny. Forever loving the 80s and the Creature Features gang.😍
When the film first started I saw the corn field and fresh cut hay and the woods, I said " that reminds me of where I grew up , in Wisconsin. To find out that's exactly where it was filmed, lol.
Not to mention the kid in the ballpark stands with a Old Style beer hat. Got one myself having lived in Chicago in my past.... and still go back for visits and Wisconsin.
That kid Jaime is exceptional...an exceptional terror! I'm glad that scheming pyscho got his, oh, but wait, there's another terror to do the pits bidding. Scarey creepy minature mutant werewolves fed humans by fragmented demented teen...this was a twisted tale. Well done!
With all the ads It's like watching ME tv or something. Livingston is the perfect foil for Bodean's banter. Tangella: she's in her own orbit/dimension. Surprisingly, it all works together. Good go, y'all! Peace from Florida 😎
What.... she's rhe voice over for Princess Peach in Super Mario Kids Shows?? Like, no way & you wouldn't happen to have a link to see & hear would you?
He said he got all the mean people, but he missed one. Why didn’t he lure Ms. Livingston into the pit? This is sort of my “feel good” movie. Yeah, he’s creepy, but the abuse is unnecessary. The adults esp should know better. When you’re picked on like that all the time, it has a snowball effect and makes your abnormalities worse. I know because I was picked on as a kid too. Wish I had my own pit to push people into.
He didn’t push Ms Livingston into the pit bc she was a mother. 53:04 he exposes the fact his mother molested him. Making him socially awkward & craving love. The one person he thought loved him & gave him attention growing up was his mom….he “molested” Ms Livingston the mother representation in the movie. Both his actual mother and Ms Livingston didn’t get pushed in. The rest were all people he wanted to be friends either or liked but everyone was a monster to him. He didn’t recognize the monsters as monster but as friends. A metaphor The abuse was the circle of abuse. There’s a secondary metaphor with Ms Livingston He discovers the monsters must eat. If not they may die or get out of the pit & cause a much worse outcome. So he finds a way to suppress the monsters, So he tests the meat theory & feels it’s “working” The meat imagery is immediately shone after taking implicitly sexual things or even covertly sexual mentions of or images of female body. Prior to this meat thing he used to do small invasive things escalating each time looking at photos of naked women in photography books, sneak into the woman’s room, watch her sleep, peak at her in the shower but once he realized the “monster needed suppressed” to prevent it from coming out of a pit keeping that becoming much worse, he sexually abused Ms Livingston & took a photo to look at a lot(sexually deviancy turned into bigger sexual abuse & he realized doing small things could suppress the predator from coming out & him doing much worse) I understand either the first few times. Watching it again after figuring it out is pretty cool but makes the movie a lot scarier than at face value bc it makes some little details make sense. Watching the origin of a sexual predator while young.
I wouldn’t have known it was a movie turning the message about sexual abuse, physical & emotional abuse, the cycle of both forms monsters create monsters & the sick way they project their own abuse onto others in a devious manner that they may not even connect the dots themselves what the victim & their own abusers have in common or that the abuse they inflict on that person is directly related to & mirrors the abuse they themselves experienced at the hand of abuser and & that what they have done is that bad. The inability to recognize monsters as monsters, not even themselves, not even when the monsters are literal monsters
27:34 Eeesh the stuff of nightmares😱 The creepy kid has an equally creepy teddy bear, especially in the dark! Lol I don't know how to describe how utterly disturbing it is to be hit on by a child. Great ending 😁👍
I loved how they explained why we never hear about other pits, it is just "dogs". No need to investigate, call scientists or ensure the safety of people in other cities. lol. Amusing movie.
It is out of place but it adds a dark humor. The boy is already psychotic, so we cannot feel much sympathy. Not to mention the adults are rather gullibility, so actually, in film "theory" it fits. The same can be said for the only humorous moment in Halloween 4, with Danielle Harris.....The 2 cops show up at a call and when they get out of the car to have a serious discussion about Michale Myers, there's a clown sound that okays with each step of thwir foot, because they're the humbling officers. That's the only part in the entire movie that allows for that obvious slapstick, but it fits because of their person. They're theb8nes you scream at the screen as the movie plays;"No! No you idiot, don't run into the woods?!" LOL just thought to add another perspective.
No guest. An excellent cult favorite from the 80s. EXCELLENT show!
And yes.... Please show the movie Death Bed! 👍👍
Yes

@@robynmarler1951 very cool!
I liked that - I thought the story was excellent and the early 80’s vibe makes it spookier. Love this!
This movie looks like a good one! Everyone enjoy! ❤🎬

Thanks Creature Features. Love your Channel and The movie's. Keep up The Great Work. Love your Set, and Costumes, and The Cast. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
'wanna go skinny dipping?'
'I'm tired' - said no man ever.
This was one weird but funny movie. Definitely tongue in cheek at times.
The theme song is awesome, just like this channel.
Livingston sounds just like Vincent Price. Love it.
That was genuinely disturbing and the actor playing the disturbed kid was really good.
Nice night to watch "The Pit" on Creature Features with hosts Vincent, Tangella, Livingston, Handrew and Mrs O'Connor. Great video!
'The Pit'; brought to you by Canadians since this is a Canadian horror flick. For some, it may seem like the pits, but it has a great twist ending that is very satisfying. 🙂
The ending is as good as any "Instant Karma" video on youtube.
This movie is described as a "psychological thriller."
We get that every Saturday night :)
And that's just between you and Gertrude...🐐
I must apoligize I promise to start closing my curtains.

It's a good movie, I liked it. And think Creature Features is better now than before. Y'all are fun and great actors. 🙂👍
C'mon... Livingston's comeback in the intro... "are you going to will your brain to science"?
That's GOLD!
I've been looking for this movie for 35 years
This is just a good time thank you all so much for doing this show...👍😎
People did too much LSD in the seventies and eighties! Thank God, otherwise we wouldn't have movies like this to watch 😁
Love the movies! And the entire cast is awesome! Feel free to cut in more often!
Hello to all at bodega bay, I remember creature features with the hand having 6 fingers, but I still love the show, Gary
Thanks for the awesome sauce movie! God bless us all AMEN!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Oooo, this is a good one 👍👍
I enjoyed this movie very much.wasn’t expecting that ending.
A what goes around comes around ending
Never saw this but I just looked it up. It's got 4 and a half stars on Prime and it looks good ! 😍
The look on Tangella's face during the intro is priceless.
I really am enjoying you're movie selections, thank you 😊❤
"I'm going to look at these alot" - 🧸
I laughed out loud when I read that comment haha that’s my favorite line from this movie.
That ending was hilarious! I thought Jamie was going to get away with murder until that girl said "I know", and crept up behind him.
This movie has alot of bizarre elements that came together quite well
The marron that's wat u call them in the pit..been a interesting one thanx creature feature all the way from England 🇬🇧

I’m interested in finding out how much they could get out of a picture with a budget of $12.50.
A young girl Giving a kid that age a bath is downright creepy.
I just found this channel and it's great.
I can't believe Creature feature hasn't done The Deadly Spawn. I highly recommend it 😉
Thanks for movie!
Sunday morning watching Creature Features 😊
I love the teddy bear. His part of the story is left ambiguous and that adds to the creepiness
This was a great picture! I laughed. I cried. It became a part of my life.

Hey Creature Feature! I love your content I’m from the 707 too Vallejo to be exact.
BEST Film. EVER
I watched this movie like 4 times or so. 😩
Such torturous alliteration. Love your use of language for self satirizing effect!! ❤❤❤ from Michigan USA!

There’s a secondary metaphor with Ms Livingston

love your show, please keep it going
SO Creature Features has abandoned horror movies and is now doing economic forecasting for the uk in 2 words.
Thank you! I have been thinking about this movie for so long but didn't know the name. I always thought it was black panthers in the Pit as a kid lol
After listening to the dialog of this movie I think little kids wrote the script!
That movie was hysterical. Thanks.
