Heartbreaking intro but it warms my heart to know that Dustin has such a loving family with LSM and the community. We love you Dustin, stay strong brother.
The common denominator for stick drift issues on PS5 and Switch is the manufacturer of the sticks. Both controllers get their sticks from Immersion, the same company that provides the rumble features in PS controllers and caused Sony some issues regarding rumble early on in the PS3s life.
Part of why Second Son looks so good is because they enhanced it for PS4 Pro and uncapped the frame rate. So now we have an upscaled 4k which runs at a locked 60.
I legitimately teared up at Dustins message. The pain he must feel is truly harrowing. Also props for Colin supporting Dustin and giving him as much time as he needs to heal.

Helldiver devs must have an idea of the game they want out there, they don't want large amount of player base "abusing" small number of loadouts (it was the shield, railgun, a couple "instant " kill stratagem strikes, etc...), succeeding too often at higher difficulties, etc... I think it's an admirable cause in a way, you want your hard game on the hardest difficulties to be hard, and when there are certain populations having too much success, not dying enough, winning too easily all using the exact same stuff despite there being dozens of other loadouts, you may want to fix it, but at the same time any attempts at fixing will piss off the community as it is sorta a "why care in a pve?" moment.
I assume anyone with stick drift on PlayStation plays games where sprint is on L3... which is most first person shooters. I never have issues with controllers and I'm not hard on them. Yet my launch DualSense drifts on the left stick.

Colin victim-blaming PlayStation owners for Sony making extremely broken Dualsenses is just aggravating. I've owned, I think, 5 different Dualsenses at this point? 2 have had stick drift, and 2 have had bad batteries. It's a defective controller.
Yup. He always says it's down more to the person. But explain how I've owned 8 consoles and the PS5 is the first where I've ever had multiple controller failures (my only others are joycon drift for 1 stick and stick drift on a DS4 after 7 years). My launch dualsense straight up has 3 buttons that don't recognize any input
I should also add the 4 people who I game with on other PS5s most regularly all have AT LEAST one broken dualsense. I like these controllers but it's not remotely uncommon to see them prematurely fail
@@b2lamborgini I think it's telling that Sony is only just NOW, 4 years into the PS5, putting out a Firmware update to address how the Dualsenses are (apparently) overcharging and killing their batteries. To be fair tho If it wasn’t a real issue or atleast a big enough issue for Sony to notice, then we wouldn’t have gotten a dual sense edge feature specific for replacing thumb sticks. Clearly even Sony sees the issue. It’s not some unheard of thing or a problem that only happens to people who throw a controller at the wall lol.
Yeah. I have three controllers. I used to have two which I alternated between but I claimed the warranty on BOTH for drift, so I bought a third to use at the time. Now ALL THREE have varying degrees of drift.

anecdotally i concluded that the majority of the stick drift issues are caused by fps games that require you to sprint/crouch by pressing R3/L3 and by enabling auto-sprint or just changing the control scheme i have not had almost any problem since
Colin blaming the user for dual sense being broken. All 3 of my dual sense controllers have drifted and it never happened on ps4 or on ps3. Just because it’s not happening to you does not mean it’s not happening.

Making your characters unattractive and getting their outfits from a trash heap is ABSOLUTELY part of the “woke movement.”

1:48:30 the Tales of Kanzera “woke” issues represented by Colin here miss that Kabrutus didn’t attach his DEI label because of content in the game, but because of the main creators attachment to people that work at SBI. Just wrong place wrong time to be associated with SBI.
I think it’s important to note just how agenda driven some of these companies and people are. Colin brings up that person at ea who doesn’t like to hire/work with white people. The racism bigotry is rotting the industry from the inside out. And their game output shows. It’s why we get games like dustborn and black myth released in the same week.
The Deadlock thing wasn't an NDA. He wasn't obligated to comply with the message, regardless of him hitting Escape or not. Valve was also perfectly in their rights to ban him for being a dick. It's a non-story. It wasn't an NDA.

I'm convinced they are planning to port (at least the multiplayer portion) of Halo Infinite sometime in the next 6ish months. MCC doesn't make sense anymore if they are remaking CE (the game also have a massive cheating problem right now and is still buggier than a lot of people realize/held together by duct tape).
That would be awesome for me as someone who really likes Infinite as it would boost the playerbase for a little bit. But I just think 343 has largely moved on from it. I hope I’m wrong though

For some reason as soon as Colin started talking one of the first inclinations that popped into my head as well was that Dustin will be back sooner than we expect. I can't say I'm a fan of the whole "well this game doesn't run well, but I bet it will be great on PS5 Pro" line of thought. The games should have been optimized better for the base PS5 they came out on. Otherwise, you are getting into the whole Xbox Series S holding us back situation. Also, I am not so sure that the PS5 Pro is going to be the panacea that some people are making it out to be.

SS on a Sunday for freeloaders like me. No way.
Take care Dustin, love you brother
R.I.P. Emil.
Thoughts and prayers out to Dustin, Holly, and the entire LSM family.
Love to Holly and Dustin and R.I.P to Emil 🖤
anecdotally i concluded that the majority of the stick drift issues are caused by fps games that require you to sprint/crouch by pressing R3/L3 and by enabling auto-sprint or just changing the control scheme i have not had almost any problem since
I pray that God may comfort Dustin and Holly during this tragic time.
What happened? I'm out of the loop
@@daksans6764they literally talk about it in the first 3 minutes of this episode
When Chris said you "You already built a Hero Shooter around Harley Quinn… like you’re fucked!!" 😂😂😂
Moving introduction and beautiful letter from Dustin ❤️
Much love to Dustin and Holly.
I would buy Master Chief collection on day one of ps5
Colin blaming the user for dual sense being broken. All 3 of my dual sense controllers have drifted and it never happened on ps4 or on ps3. Just because it’s not happening to you does not mean it’s not happening.
Bingo. Between me and my friends I know of at least 8 broken dualsenses. I only knew one person who ever faced common controller failure before PS5
"Just because it's not happening to you does not mean it's not happening"
If only people lived by that across the board in life.
He’s saying it’s also the controllers fault lol. He’s saying another factor is YOU. And that’s true.
@@alexander8200no shit controllers aren’t made to sit in a box if you cannot design your premium product well enough to not catastrophically fail when put through mild use you’ve failed completely.
@@alexander8200 These dudes are mashing their controllers. Who goes through 4 controllers? That's nuts.
Love to Dustin and Holly always. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of such a great community ❤️
Folks, the graphics and art style of Concord is perfectly fine! The dumpster character design is the reason why the game “isn’t hitting” along with the low energy for hero shooters right now. Making your characters unattractive and getting their outfits from a trash heap is ABSOLUTELY part of the “woke movement.”
Feel the need to disagree with the controller convo
Mainly because i also have stick drifted 2 PS5 controlers and the only concession i can give is my pothead friends note me as a heavy handed person so MAYBE its me but its still a PS5 controler specific issue as ive been on PS my whole life
To chris portion of the convo i always feel insane when people say they busted their controlers on stick spins/button mashing in older gens
Never once have i mashed a controler into a broken state the next time i used it and i used to play WWE SVR battle royales/royal rumbles on repeat
I remember shoulder buttons breaking a lot more than anything else tbh
Had a PS3 controler with a busted loose R2 for awhile in my teens
Most are not happily married, they just don't say anything because of shame. Also most guys are simps and don't have leverage in their marriage so they deal with whatever mess their wife does.
Sick title. Clocks one of my fav Coldplay songs
That write-in about Concord has big "Leave Britney Alone" energy.
Sounded like "how dare people have opinions that aren't exactly like mine". People are allowed to not like something, and they are allowed to say they don't like it. Seems the write-in expects Colin to go out, like Diogenes with his lantern, looking for a person who likes Concord to invite on the show.
100%
While I rarely agree with Collin……Mad respect to you for how you are handling Dustin’s terrible time. A guy I could work for any day. Seriously mad respect
4 gold medals for a country the size of Ireland(5m people) is great. Ridiculous comment by Colin.
That’s was such a beautiful letter we are thinking of you Dustin and Holly.
“Thoughts and prayers” 😂
Much love to Dustin and Holly ❤
1:48:30 the Tales of Kanzera “woke” issues represented by Colin here miss that Kabrutus didn’t attach his DEI label because of content in the game, but because of the main creators attachment to people that work at SBI. There is also evidence that he co-founded a consulting studio with SBI people in France, I believe.
Abubakar Salim seems like a standup guy from what I’ve seen of him in interviews.
We love you Dustin!
The Deadlock thing wasn't an NDA. He wasn't obligated to comply with the message, regardless of him hitting Escape or not.
Valve was also perfectly in their rights to ban him for being a dick.
It's a non-story. It wasn't an NDA.
Colin and Chris completely disregarding the religious aspect of dry weddings.
If it is a Christian wedding and taking place in an actual church there will be no alcohol.
And a lot of if not all of venues charge more money if there’s going to be alcohol due to risk of property damage, problems etc.
❤ Dustin and Holly 🙏 for u guys. Hope to see you soon
The conversation about famous people with your last name had me chuckling as someone called James Brown 😂😅
Dustin…keep your head up. One day at a time! 🙏🏿💪🏿🫡❤️
Also Alan Wake 2 is STILL not on Steam, it’s an Epic Games Store exclusive so their PC revenue is basically nonexistent. They’ll probably recoup the rest of their costs and turn a profit whenever it finally comes to Steam.
Praying for Dustin and Holly!
Gotta love the timestamp.

Daammmmmn boys, that's a long intro hehe
Listening to Colin reading Dustin's letter... I'm not crying, you're crying...
When it comes to Collins take on control stick drift he's completely wrong. They're totally shit.
@@EvernhamNo9 100% moved on from the campaign, but in the last six months they have reworked almost every weapon in the sandbox, implemented a new network model, added a match composer, and continued to make big improvements to Forge. Weird to do all the back-end work for a game that you moved on from or have no plan for.
We love you Dustin ❤
Shinobi also deleted that reply, but you didn't mention that.
For some reason as soon as Colin started talking one of the first inclinations that popped into my head as well was that Dustin will be back sooner than we expect. You never know how exactly you’ll deal with/navigate something so painful and unimaginable. I suspect, the silly distraction and support by such a wonderful community might end up being something that really helps. Absolutely crushed for them..: but also hope and pray they come through it stronger.
1:20:42 wonderful narration by Mr. Moriarty
3:40:15 people who hate Fortnite, but don't know why always bother me. they're the epitome of the herd/sheep mentality. they remind me of those people who like a band when they are unknown, starving artists & then all of a sudden, inexplicably, they hate them when the band becomes popular, profitable, successful & can finally feed their families & children from the money they make from their music. these people make me sick. the same type of people hated Minecraft, Angry Birds or anything that became popular. they don't even know WHY they hate said thing, they just hate it because its popular.
everything about Fortnite is inherently cool. Cliffy B worked on it. (thats a joke calm down lol) the game looks good, plays well, runs well & is one of the best run live service games ever released & is kept afloat with user-generated content in the same way that Doom was in the 90's with the mod scene, the "Master Levels" & all that. its a modern version of that & its great. not only that, you can play as just about ANY licensed character imaginable. wiping out an island of 100 other players as the goddamn PREDATOR... this season I get to play as the fkn WAR MACHINE??? (from Iron Man) like come on! how could anyone fix their moth to say thats not cool? smh
The image of Colin playing Fortnite is fucking hysterical
The idea of putting a "Last Stand" sticker on a wheelchair of all things is wonderful.
Hey Colin, just so you know, based on medals per capita and also based on expected performance, Ireland had a really great Olympics this year! Country of 5 million people Colin!
Colin doesn't play games where he would even notice the stick drift people talk about playing competitive fps games. Sbmm every night
Sending continued love and prayers for the Furman's
We love you so much Dustin, tragedies like this should never happen to good people like you and Holly but you will be in our prayers until you’re ready to come back to us. ❤🙏
Hearing that there’s no FOV slider for Concord on PS5 is insane, and is a total turn-off for me. I was debating picking it up because I’ve heard decent things about it, but that’s a deal breaker.
My sister lost her 11 year old daughter to DIPG (a tumor on the brainstem) six years ago. I dont have kids myself, but I feel for any person going through that. It's the worst thing imaginable. Her twin brother turned 17 in May. It's a blessing to see what a great man he's becoming, but it makes me sad when I think about what an amazing young woman my niece would be. Dustin, I know I'll never know you personally, but my heart hurts for you. Words will never be enough, but I'm truly sorry for you and Holly.
Much love to Dustin and Holly. You are in our thoughts
RiP to their baby...Thats tuff.
Dustin has so much room in his heart for everyone he encounters. No one deserves this pain less. I may live in a pretend country but that doesn't stop me sharing in part of your grief. From the land down under.
