When Roger sings "The band is just fantastic,that is really what I think.Oh and BTW,which one's Pink?" The video screen shows a 1970's era Roger laughing his a$$ off! 79 years old and performing at an extremely high level with unmatched audio & video quality. There's live Roger Waters,then there's everything else IMO.
Is it me or is this played in a lower key ? I can understand with Waters age and vocal range. But I didnt realize in the past years of him playing it, it being in this lower key. Interesting. Still sounds great imho.
@@ruimarques7625 That 2006 version you actually hear what he does when he’s lip syncing. They accidentally played his microphone on tv instead of the pre recorded track. I’m glad he’s singing on this tour even if it’s a little rough
There's a reason why he didn't sing it on the album. Roger has always had an issue with tone, especially live. Rogers great lyrics aside, Gilmour and Wright really masked a lot of his mediocre musical abilities.
@@ctcards2636 never understood why Gilmour didn't. Harper practically sounds like him. If I were to be honest when I first heard it on cassette, I thought it was Gilmour. Wasn't until I saw the credits in the CD sleeve that I found out it wasn't.

He famously destroyed Have a Cigar live in 2006 and 2008 (check live in Rock in Rio 2006). He also struggled here, even in a much lower key.

The reason David isn't up there is because he was using pictures from the syd era. There's at most like 5 pictures of syd and David together.
