Nice video - I have flown RC jets for about 12 years, and love it! The only thing I really don't like is beautiful scale jets tumbling around in the sky, hovering, flat spinning at insane speeds and doing tens of crazy rolls - nothing impressive about that, while seeing a huge RC jet flying like the real thing - that's a thing of beauty!

That SR is nice. While TDY to Mildenhall in the 80s they would park our C-130s across the taxi way from the SR hangers and we would sit on the tails of our aircraft and watch them taxi and take off all the time. Looks like a great show...

Yeah great, really. I like flying since many years, haven't the money for that kind of models but this is not a problem :) These are really great technology assembly and pilots... simply, no comment :)

Landing jets is difficult and we like to see others do it.
For the people new to the sport don't let the $5,000 to 10,000 prices scare you off.
You can get started with inducted fan jets in the $200 range with lots of nicer jets in the
$300 to 600 range. They are smaller and have top speeds in the 100 - 140 range.

So are these guys flying these FPV style, or are do they just have a really good eye? I can totally understand the skilled being able to do things I can't lol, see it every day, but how do they do it?

Hey Robert, none of the planes we shot that day had. We have found some on line but none I've seen in person. i would love to see those shots side by side.

Why don’t they fly FPV? amazing memory.
Do any of these models have g-force sensors on them. I mean, it’s obvious no human pilot could endure these maneuvers, but it’d be cool to see just how many Gs they are pegging.
I have no idea, but I think I would like to know myself!

I love these RC planes, but they get so far away that you can hardly see them. It would be nice for the pilot to have a pair of glasses which can switch from normal to 10X to 20X automatically.
Or buy DJI FPV camera and goggles and it would be like ur in the cockpit flying it...

Something which makes me feel I'd be a great competition modeller, almost every midel pilot stand straight on its seat like action man + helmet. Apart from carrier catapult this is a rather rare standing. Check real jet pilots !
Sometimes when taxiing, driving a jet like a sportcar, the engine sounding like rally car warm up, not cool.
3d vector thrust, why do it with a model?! First inverted loop -12G spoil the flight. Helicopter 3d do it better.
For better realistic flight one need to sit mindfully inside the model.
Why all the darn pop ups for likes and subscribes, its 2021 and we all know what to do. Popping that stuff up on the video is just annoying and not necessary while trying to watch what your showing. If I like your content then I will subscribe I don’t need you to tell me to.

So cool..love watching the pros fly these things, but will this hobby eat itself alive ? ..I mean these are large scaled powerful jets, prop planes..not some electric ducted fan foamie that disintegrates upon impact. These could really do some property damage, injure people or worse if something should fail... I just getting into RC planes ..I hope that this level of RC jets doesn't ruin it for beginners flying medium to large foamies. Eventually our government in it's infinite wisdom will get involved .that will cost us money ....it's inevitable !

You are about 50 years to late, I do not know about US regulations but in EU RC is heavily regulated since decades and its still very much alive, if anything we were chuckling when drone crowd started whining about "new" laws while in reality their toys were simply included into existing regulations. As for foamies do not worry, they are different category, basically toys barely regulated, goverments can tell a difference between foamie and 4 turbine 25 kg of fiberglass jet monster :)

Thank you for the video. I really do appreciate this information and video being brought to us. Although next time you want to do this, please video the airplanes a little bit better. Instead of so much sky, and being so far away from the airplanes you really missed a lot of it.
