Based on your recommendation in a previous video, I bought Unpacking two days ago and it is INCREDIBLE. It is the most unique way to learn about a person I’ve ever seen. It’s so imaginative and heartwarming. I thought unpacking boxes would stress me out since I’ve moved a LOT, but I find it really relaxing. Thanks for your videos! ❤😊
The representation of different cultures and genders in Wylde Flowers is amazing. Playing a game where a nonbinary character talks about how casual (non malicious) misgendering makes them feel just made me feel so seen in a way that I’ve never been before. I love this game so much!
Dreamlight Valley is one of the most addictive games I've played in quite a while. It really has become my virtual happy place. But honestly, pretty much every single one of these games is on my wishlist. Seems like I'm craving some cozy, comfy de-stressing right now.
So many fun cozy games, I love it! My go-to when I'm stressed is Hidden Paws. It's a bit of a hidden object game, but the hidden objects are cats and balls of yarn that you have to search in a winter landscape with houses, boxes and barrels, wood stacks, penguins. I absolutely love that
i recently discovered a cozy game called "a space for the unbound" that's made by the same people who made coffee talk and i love it so much, you should definitely check it out if you get the chance
Cozy Grove is my current de-stress/daily chill game. so chill, I get to just complete tasks, if I can't find something you can pay a small amount to one of the characters so he can show you where it is, and the bears are adorable
Funny enough Stardew valley is my current stress game. Back in January someone recommended it to me as a follow up to AC. I was super frustrated and you told me in a live stream I’d eventually go back and know what to do. The future is here! 😂
Story of Seasons Doraemon at the moment. It's pretty chill, there's so many cutscenes, so it doesn't feel to grindy as it fees like there is constant progression (as long as you keep chatting with the locals)
I have been WAITING DESPERATELY for you to really talk about Wylde Flowers bc I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! 💜💜💜 I can’t wait for your full video about it since they’ve had 2 updates since the game’s release. I don’t know that I’ve ever been so emotionally invested in a game ever.
I love both the coffee talk games, unpacking, but if I’m particularly upset or dealing with some depression, I LOVE cloudpunk. I wish there were more games with that vibe. I’ve played it 2-3 times and I love it so much. The rainy vibe, big city, sci-fi theme calms a very specific part of me that thrives off escapism
I'd definitely add Cozy Grove to the list, its beautiful art and music, and stories are unique and help get your mind away from anything that might be bugging it. But also definitely not cry-free. And I really think that the idea is the same as Spiritfarer, but Cozy Grove came before and I think the art is more soothing
Thank you for the great video 🩵 A couple of games I loved playing that were completely chill were Littlewood, Dragon Caffi, Machinarium, Botanicula and Yonder. I also absolutely adore when the past was around but it’s a bit more emotionally heavy.
Your description of Wylde Flowers as a 'narrative life sim with farming sim elements' is completely spot on for what we believe the game is too. 🥰 Appreciate you including us in your list, and we cannot wait for your upcoming dedicated video! 💖 We appreciate you!
All of the games on your list are great. Wylde Flowers, PowerWash Sim, and Dorfromantik are some standouts for me. Cloud Gardens also deserves way more attention. That said, for me, the one game (or series of games) I have consistently returned to for years now when I want to relax is Picross. It's relatively inexpensive, there are loads of collections available, and once you play it a bt you start to recognize certain patterns and develop strategies that make it take less thinking than it initially does, so it turns into a super relaxing time. Also, there's a new Farming Simulator game coming to Switch on the 23rd. I put loads of time into a few of the previous entries, and they are definitely cozy. I suppose they could be made more hectic if you were to work up to planting loads of fields at once and hiring/managing workers to tend them, but I usually only have a few fields going at once so I can tend to them (and my animals) myself. It's a great game to play while watching/listening to other stuff.
Grow song of Evertree is a game I just found out about, because I saw a friend play it. Its super Cozy and Relaxing and has a nice Story too. I totally recommend it for Cozy Gamers.
Dorfromantik is my go-to! It's easy to play while having a relaxing show on in the background. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is lovely, and it keeps me engaged. I also LOVE Terra Nil. I would recommend these both to anyone that gets bored easily (like me, having ADHD is just awful when you're trying to relax), but still needs a way to focus their thoughts and calm down!
My all time favorite cozy games are Spiritfarer and cozy grove. I can play those games for hours and forget about whatever’s happening in the real world. I go back to them now and then. Dreamlight Valley is a close 3rd. It’s fun to complete quests, and when I’m done, I get lost fishing and selling to get my coins up lol. Haven’t gotten around to decorating though, as it’s annoying m the switch, so for now I just do what I can.
I love a good puzzle game when I’m extra stressed but also No Man’s Sky can be really nice for just exploring or flying around. Thanks for having an awesome community to help us all de-stress 💜
I absolutely love rhythm games and you’re giving one some love. Sometimes you just want to get lost in the music. One I play a ton is Muse Dash. I believe the Switch version gets all the DLCs from the PC for free (though they’re added a lot later) so there’s a bunch of music tracks. Each song has multiple difficulty settings and there’s a variety of characters/character alts that can make things easier or harder, there’s even a character that just auto-plays the level so you can practice the button presses or just jam out. The only real downside is that some of the characters designs and loading screen art is a bit…questionable…to say the least. You can make it so some of the loading screens art is disabled but still
Here are three more non-combat cozy games I'd recommend: - Season: a letter to the future. It's a story-rich exploration game where you record images and sounds of the world as the "season" you're in (an era) ends. Beautiful, soothing, love it. - Carto: a puzzle game with tiles and a cute story - LEGO builder's journey: puzzle game with lego bricks
9:17 Spiritfarer is gorgeous, with one big content warning for medical trauma (patient abuse, psych institution, ableist language) in the Jackie & Daria storyline. I had over 100 hours in the game because it was so peaceful, but then an update added the Jackie storyline and it brought up too much medical trauma, and I haven’t opened the game for over a year.
Thank you for so many great suggestions! Freshly Frosted is realy nice puzzle game with great art and relaxing gameplay. Puzzles are getting gradually more complex but do not feel too hard almost till the end
I have been LOVING a game called “No Place Like Home.” It’s on both steam and switch. Humanity has trashed the Earth and left to inhabit Mars. You try to visit your grandfather before leaving for Mars but find that he’s missing and his farm has been destroyed. Only a few humans remain on earth. Theirs exploration, farming, crafting, and you’re able to domesticate animals. One of my favorite things is cleaning up all of the trash, it’s so satisfying. I play on the Steam Deck, there are some very minor bugs but it runs really well overall!
Littlewood is a great pixel art life sim. I love that the day passes based on how many actions you do, rather than time, so I don’t feel rushed each day. :)
I've been playing this game called Wildermyth (on steam) recently to unwind. Its a Roleplaying game, that to me, resembles playing Dungeons and Dragons. Its multiplayer and single player, so even if you can't get everyone together to play a session, this fills that void! You choose between options, and choose your next moves, and battle enemies in a turn-based style with set actions. But between the battles, you get the story. In a comic-strip style, you get to see the story unfold, and make more story-based choices that change your characters. They age, and if they make it to retirement, you can have them become part of your legacy, and show up in other stories and campaigns you play alone, or with other people. I feel like i am not doing it justice, i love it so much. I get sucked in fir hours!
I would also recommend Old Mans Journey! It is a short, but very beautiful game.. super chill with some nice puzzles to solve. Because It is quite short, I would only get it once on sale. But I really did enjoy it
Absolutely love Wylde Flowers, Coffee Talk, Unpacking, and DDV. ACNH is certainly still a love but, yea, I don't exactly play it anymore now lol I will say, I'm a little bitter still that we can't date Violet in Wylde Flowers though haha Another favourite for me right now is House Flipper. Steam version seems better but, I still enjoy the Switch version. It, and Cozy Grove, are perfect for after a crappy day of work for me since you can generally complete the necessary tasks in just a couple of hours - other than the really big houses in House Flipper of course heh - so I'm not worried about it getting too late into the night and they definitely help my brain unwind.
I finished Cereza and the lost Demon last night! I bought it on your recommendation. I absolutely loved every minute of it, And I normally hate combat games. I don’t recommend this as an anti stress game though lol.
You mentioned, when talking about coffee talk, the old book ‘games. One of the most famous set was the Steve Jackson series. I didn’t know if you were aware that one of these has been made into a switch game. Currently 50% off and called Steve Jackson Sorcery. Its also a really good version of these old books. Thought you might enjoy. 😊
My go to at the moment is definitely Ooblets - thanks to your recommendation! I spend hours and hours just lost in it. Yet to try DDV but it sounds right up my street
Arise: A Simple Story is a game on the switch my husband and I have been playing and I highly recommend it! It has a beautiful story and it's not like any other game I have ever played
My favourite relaxing game is Grow: Song of the Evertree. I’ve commented on it before but I’m still playing. It’s a type of life sim/city builder/farming game and it’s very stress free. I’m still interested in Wylde flowers but I prefer customisable characters. Pokémon snap stressed me out because the cart keeps moving while I want to take my time lol!
My biggest issue with Wylde flowers is that you get a calf, name her, learn her favourite food, get her love you and then sell her for slaughter and get leftover meat and animal skin back! Whhyyyyy? It is too real!!!! 😂 it is not stress free for me but i still love it
Because of you! (Thank you! EEOWNA!) unpacking and power wash sim - those are my de stress go tos, however after watching this, I’ve added more to my list of “to buys”
Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet is pretty cozy too! I'd love to see you feature it sometime. I really love the volleyball, mountain climbing, and pool hopping minigame in it - perfect when I want to rest from all the action games.
I grew up with crimson/viridian room and the Matneusz Skutnik flash games back in the mid 00s. Im an old hat at point and clicks, i was obsessed with tuem.... I still need a walkthrough at at minimum oncee per point and click game (ofen more). And as you said theres nothing wrong with needing walkthroughs but boy howdy is it nice when youre looking for pure escapism to not need to do outside research to play a game 😅 Ive been thinkong about playing monkey island for a while but I think this is the boost i needed ty
Normally when I watch any kind of list video I’ve heard of the games before, but I have never heard of Melatonin! It’s not that expensive so I think I’m going to give it a go - yay! Thanks Eeowna!
I am intrigued by Cloud Gardens! I LOVe Dorfromantik to play while I am doing something else and so glad I learned about it here. I wish unpacking had been a weeeee bit longer but a great story.
A Little To The Left sounds so relaxing, I always organize things around my apartment when I’m feeling stressed 😂 Now I can bring the tidiness to my console 😂😂😂
Pokémon snap definitely is an overpriced game but it's so chill, and calming. I like how you can turn off the music and just enjoy the sounds of nature and pokémons! ❤ I wish acnh had an option to turn off the music lol because it was the game i played even when i was at my lowest with my depression. I finished my island months ago and i was thinking of restarting but im just so done with the game 😅 I've played it since launch... i now need a game to fill that void and all those games that could do that aren't yet on the switch. I want sun haven, sos: a wonderful life, fantasy life, fae farm and there are probably others but i can't remember 😂 I'll definitely get ddlv once it's free on the consoles! I really liked this list, and i need to try out dorf romantik!!!
honestly minecraft peaceful mode. Lost countless hours just mining for sparklies, building stuff, farming, wandering...But yeah Dorfromantik is everything. My classic mode game is top 100 right now, it's huge and awesome. Once you get past a certain size it basically generates more tiles than you can place as long as you're going for perfect placement. So there's very little stress bc you've got infinite tiles :)
Something important to note on Dreamlight Valley. It does have cross save, and she's right, it performs better in virtually every other platform. However, you cannot cross save from sony platforms to any non sony ones. Keep that in mind if you pick this one up. As of now, it is free on Xbox/ pc game pass, so that may be your best bet.
Doing a lil comment before you carry on, my faves on the switch for this theme are animal crossing, sky children of the light, and houseflipper. (If you don't consider avoiding enemies as combat haha)
Hidden paws is a totally chill game, there 2 games and there cheap, its kinda like a 3d hidden object game you have to find cats , you have control of camera
When I’m stressed I love playing Pokémon. It’s not so much cozy but it’s nestalic, and that nestalga and repetition of the familiarity of Pokémon games.
At the moment, i'm chilling out with dragon quest treasures. It's nice to grab my switch, find a few treasures, maybe do a quest or two then go to bed =) i also play dreamlight valley, especially when there are new updates and a new star path and i also like to chill to a ryhthm game called Theatrhythm final fantasy. Whether you're a fan of final fantasy or just a fan of rhythm games, it's a nice game to chill to =) Love your content, keep up the good work !
I recommend you play garden paws, its a mix of animal crossing and stardew valley, but nicest map than teh animal crossing maps, and the game its more well done, it made me very addicted, and i say you, that animal crossing was one of my favourite games, now it is garden paws my favourite game, i bought in pc and i bought also for the switch🥰
I enjoy building and farming in Minecraft. Peaceful mode prevents the bad mobs from spawning but for me I play normal for the challenge of ending my day so I don’t encounter them. I still go back to Stardew Valley as well.
Wylde flowers gets my vote but I haven't played any of the others lol. I wanted animal crossing but don't have a switch so I bought Stardew Valley instead and I can just not get into it. Wylde flowers is what I wanted Stardew to be an more. 88.6 hours in with 29/40 achievements and loving it. But thanks to you I now have a huge wish list!
Ooblets has been my safe place whenever I’ve been stressed out 🥰 This game is so cute, so funny, and the musics always put me in a good mood. Also it’s not really stressful even if there are so many things to do per day! I’ve ended the story but I’m still trying to catch all the gleemy, this so relaxed ! My next game will be Wylde Flowers ! I’ve been thinking about it for a while and you just convinced me !!! Perfect for this stressful period ❤ Thanks a lot, I love all of your videos they’re perfect ❤️ And sorry for my bad English I’m from France ☺️
Hey 👋🏽 Love your videos! Super addicted to you 😄 It’s not a Nintendo’s game, but I find out recently that I love playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 to relax. It’s so strange! But it works for me 😌
Animal Crossing my Fav I’ve started so many islands … gonna check out some of your recommendations thank you I follow you on Twitch too hugs lots lots your AMAZING
Okay not a switch game but Day of Dragons. Yes, the dev is a cult leader but me and my friends have a server where we just chill out and work on projects while chatting and doing our own things while we wait for nest to be ready. For a cosy game on the switch; I'm still waiting for Harvest Moon.
Right now I'm obsessed with Ooblets. I didn't think I'd like it but I finally gave it a try and the absurdity of it just makes me so happy
So agree! I kind of wish I had not finished it LOL
Cozy Grove. So cute, so stressless, so very many bears. 🐻🐨🐼🐻❄️
yes! Another one of my favs!!
I just started playing Cozy Grove. I love it. Can't wait for Cozy Grove 2
Cozy grove is worth of every euros. So many hours to play for 14ish€
I genuinely wasn’t ready for the way the game approached such difficult topics, it was wonderful! The thing that got me was the little grief group 🥹
Dreamlight Valley is one of the most addictive games I've played in quite a while. It really has become my virtual happy place. But honestly, pretty much every single one of these games is on my wishlist. Seems like I'm craving some cozy, comfy de-stressing right now.
I just restarted on dreamlight for like the 10th time 😂
I binge, burn out and take a break and restart weeks later
@@greysonlee665 I do the same thing! I even have 2 profiles on my switch so I can have 2 saves just for DDLV 😂
Did you see there's a coffee talk 2?
Cozy Grove is my current de-stress/daily chill game. so chill, I get to just complete tasks, if I can't find something you can pay a small amount to one of the characters so he can show you where it is, and the bears are adorable

Yesss! It’s actually one of my fav story of seasons games!!

Dorfromantik is my go-to! It's easy to play while having a relaxing show on in the background. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is lovely, and it keeps me engaged. I also LOVE Terra Nil. One of my favorites is: 'The Wild at Heart' for me the sound, Story and gameplay make it cozy😊

I have to give Potion Permit a shout for my favorite cozy game currently. While it does have combat, there is purpose for it. Highly suggest it
Oh it’s one of my all time favourites dw! I think I put it in my top 10 cozy games vid 😊
Here are three more non-combat cozy games I'd recommend:
- Season: a letter to the future. It's a story-rich exploration game where you record images and sounds of the world as the "season" you're in (an era) ends. Beautiful, soothing, love it.
- Carto: a puzzle game with tiles and a cute story
- LEGO builder's journey: puzzle game with lego bricks

I have played Wyldeflowers to the end 3 times, it’s one of the best games I have ever played. The voice overs are beautiful. Very relaxing. 😊
Ohhh… my mind has been tied in knots… need a new cozy game. I’ve been playing a lot of Dorf Romantik lately. Love your channel!

Been very stressed recently and now watching all your recs to put some on my wishlist. Waiting for some of them to be on sale. ❤
Love your videos Iona!❤ Really good recommendations - I’m currently obsessed with Totk😁
It’s so good! The worst part is putting it down to be a real person 😂
@@Eeowna yess going to bed is Impossible😂
My first ever and still favourite cosy game is actually on android/os. It's Zen Koi 1 (and 2). Beautiful, truly zen and so calming.
I immediately thought of the card game "Snap" 😅 I love the fact that it's a photo game. Thank you for another great list.
Thank you for including Pokemon Snap, it is my FAVORITE game of all time. Dreamlight valley is also a favorite
My ultimate favs for now have been Disney Dreamlight Valley and Cozy Grove.
When I am stressed I love townscaper and cloud gardens
ACHN, Dreamlight Valley, and buying Sun Haven today are my stress relief
My top cozy games are Disney Dreamlight Valley, Kirbys Dream buffet and Breath of the Wild
Unpacking, SpiritFarer & Stardew Valley are 3 of my all time favourite games, I have spent 575 on Stardew valley which is insane. 😬💖
I’ve put in 200 hours on DorfRomantik while on stress leave. It’s been great!
My favorite game to play when I'm stressed is Potion Permit 😊
Hidden paws is a totally chill game, there 2 games and there cheap, its kinda like a 3d hidden object game you have to find cats , you have control of camera
When I’m stressed I love playing Pokémon. It’s not so much cozy but it’s nestalic, and that nestalga and repetition of the familiarity of Pokémon games.
Grow song of the ever tree is my favourite at the moment
At the moment, i'm chilling out with dragon quest treasures. It's nice to grab my switch, find a few treasures, maybe do a quest or two then go to bed =) i also play dreamlight valley, especially when there are new updates and a new star path and i also like to chill to a ryhthm game called Theatrhythm final fantasy. Whether you're a fan of final fantasy or just a fan of rhythm games, it's a nice game to chill to =) Love your content, keep up the good work !
Yonder is probably my favorite game. I wish they'd just make it bigger so I could play more.
I recommend Kaichu - A Kaiju Dating Sim. The dialogue is just so goofy, makes me laugh every time. Because laughter is the best medicine. Lol
Cozy Grove is so relaxing I love it
My fave games when I am stressed are persona5 and alma. I love them both SOOOOO much ❤
Tetris! Free on switch and one of the most relaxing and mind shutting games ever.
I always sing along to the music 😂
Flower. From the makers of Journey. Is always always a beautiful choice.
Also, for just fun- donut county 😂
Hey 👋🏽
Love your videos! Super addicted to you 😄
It’s not a Nintendo’s game, but I find out recently that I love playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 to relax.
It’s so strange! But it works for me 😌
Love Fairhaven!
Wylde Flowers is great and they keep doing free updates.
Thanks for this video! I never knew some of these titles even existed! ❤
Animal Crossing my Fav I’ve started so many islands … gonna check out some of your recommendations thank you I follow you on Twitch too hugs lots lots your AMAZING
My favorite cozy game at the moment is Strange Horticulture I bought the TOFTK Zelda game just trying to convince myself to play it
The sims is the game that has always helped me with stress 😢 and it will always be my fav one ☝️
What's cozy? Listening how @Eeowna narrates 😍
TYSM for a another cozzy game video! I love this videos so much!
Will you be reviewing Cassette Beasts? Sorry if you already have but looks like something you'd love!
I’m playing it atm 😊
Did you put a toaster in the bath in Unpacking?! 😂
Grow: Song of the Evertree
I cut this because of time :(
I'd agree except it's so glitchy. Mine got to the point i couldn't continue.
I've recently re-started animal crossing and spirit farer
Ooblets is mine at the moment!! 🥰❤️
How did you change her cloths in Wylde Flowers ? I have played through it twice and always have the same cloths.
It was in an update a few months ago, speak to violet and she upgraded her shop from a flowers shop to clothes as well
@@Eeowna Thank you so much 💓
Pretty princess party is so cozy
Okay not a switch game but Day of Dragons.
Yes, the dev is a cult leader but me and my friends have a server where we just chill out and work on projects while chatting and doing our own things while we wait for nest to be ready.
For a cosy game on the switch; I'm still waiting for Harvest Moon.
