I graduated in 2016 with a first class degree in marketing. Since then I have worked in retail, sales, customer service. I felt like such a failure and embarrassment. Now I realise God is leading towards my destiny. Now there are many things I don’t understand but I God willing will trust him more.
I'm no longer defined by my mistakes. I thought I had made some mistakes and missed some opportunities but now I understand God closed those doors because he has bigger things for me.
AND... Lean not on your own understanding. Walk in Faith and Love along your pathway!🙏🏾

Shame and embarrassment? Desert experience? God taking you there? Or your own mistakes? They look down on you? Mock you? Door closing? People leaving?
Don't get bitter, sour, giving up on your dreams. Keep honoring God. Don't let what you've been through taint the rest of your life. Don't judge your future based on your desert experience. God is not finished with you. Your mistakes did not cancel your destiny.
There is something AWSOME in your future, more than you imagined, God launching you further through the desert experience. Maybe the Spirit led you to the desert.
Take off all the negative labels and put on some new labels: forgiven, redeemed child of the Most High God. If you do this, I believe and declare: despite your mistakes, despite your failures, despite your doubts, you are still going to leave your mark and become who you were created to be.
Right now, guilt is leaving, discouragement is leaving, favor is coming, promotion is coming, breakthroughs are coming, healing is coming, the fullness of your destiny is coming in Jesus' Name. I receive it.

Talk about many many mistakes I have done and continue to do😢 Lord I believe I’m healed in the name of Jesus! I will believe in myself and know God has forgiven me from my past mistakes! I will keep on pushing forward and not look back! The devil is a liar and he wants us to stay down depressed and not get ahead in life! But my God is bigger, greater, and stronger then my feelings! Thats exactly how I feel. I keep on carrying the burden of my past mistakes. I have prayed to the Lord for foregiveness and he has forgiven me. But its me who keeps on dwelling on my past mistakes.

You have really pulled me out of a dark place
It's very important what Joel Osteen said about the accusor ( the devil) using people. This is point is vitally important so that believers are aware of one of the devil's most used weapons, which is using a person to attack another, but these are demons inside the person, or whispering to their mind. The battlefield is indeed the mind. Your thoughts are not always your own. Believers need to know there is an unseen realm of demons that has been hiding in human flesh for centuries.
You see spiritual warfare needs to be taught. It is a serious subject though here in Joel Osteen's message it is touched on lightly, does not diminish the importance of "spiritual warfare."
Look in Ephesians chapter six for descriptions of the "armor of God" a good place to start.

i trust god to meet my needs and not labels and i will no long be afraid of the past or even with the current present siutation because god has set me free and yet while i struggle day in and day out i have victory in jesus christ over my fears and will refuse to worry about things anylonger. if you are like me you may struggle day in and day out but we have victory in jesus and because we are forgiven, blessed, victorious and have victory and over the past and present. for those who don't have an relationship with jesus christ i encourage those to pray to accept jesus as your lord and savior and you will find forgiveness, be blessed and have victory over the past and present situation we are facing. jesus will even heal you if you have covid-19 and or any cancer and dibeities and he will use your falures to see your best days yet. john 3:16 for god so love the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes shall not parish but have everlasting life. romans 8:1 says there is no condenmation for those in christ jesus. so with jesus what do you have to lose? nothing but you have eternal life and find peace and joy and find forgivness. please accept jesus christ today and you will have him as your savior. love josh walker
It's been 5 months and I have been wearing those labels, feeling my destiny is over. I did not trust God on an opportunity . It's been a desert. Thanks for this message Pastor that brings hope. Angela, I have learned that our lives are a result of every decision we make. Where in we are free to make the decision the consequences maybe up to others. It is painful. I know where I made mine. It was because of stupidity, fear and doubt. God has always been Sovereign and provided. The one time I needed to trust him the most, i let human reasoning deceived me.
My husband is very supportive but I feel like he was also robbed from my decision. It's been devasted. The evil one mission is to rob, kill and destroy. Be a sure that your decision affects or purpose and the other people in our lives. I should have known all that but my mind was clouded. Everyday another layer of the onion un peels but I have to trust in the forgiveness of the Lord, just because He says though your sins be like Scarlett they can be made as white as snow.
All the days of our lives were known to God before we were born so this has not taken Him by surprise. Only in His kingdom of grace can our mess be recycled

If it was Spirit led me that test and if God still cares for me, I think I can have hope again no matter how much I had gotten wrong.

Forgiving yourself doesn't mean much tbh because what exactly are the qualifications for forgiving *yourself* ? People can just make them up as they'd like.
I agree that you have to come to a point within yourself to say I'm moving on but no one can forgive themself... Only the Almighty has the power to forgive us and to be forgiven you must follow the comandments that have been set forth before us.
