I lost my beloved job two months ago due to this pandemic. Debts unpaid, monthly bills piling up, can't provide kids' needs. I felt sad but didn't lost my faith. I kept praying. I trusted Him for i know that His plans are always for our best. Miraculously, last Monday I got hired on a job which I didn't even applied for. I was fired from my job in January, I was so sad and few months later the pandemic hit and I believe that God wanted me to spend the quarantine at home with family. Later I found out the people in my team had been laid off, God sent me home sooner. I still haven’t found a job, but I am hopeful that God has bigger plans for me.

What is sinister is the contorting of the Gospel message from being God-glorifying first and foremost to self-glorification which is central to every message I've heard from Joel. There's also a strikingly low amount of reference to scripture and the context he quotes from. Take the description of this video for instance "You may not see it yet, but He's going to work everything out in your favor. " - the gospel is not about glorifying God to enjoy what God gives us (something this man constantly preaches), but to glorify God and enjoy God forever - not simply because of what he gives us, not with the assumption we will prosper in the way Joel infers often (money, career etc) but because he is God. Putting the emphasis on self prospering when speaking about worshipping God will not bring about the self-abandonment the bible calls us to. Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Peter Kent, I agree with you! I grew up Christian in a southern baptist church. I always followed God. However, my relationship with God and trust in Him dramatically deepened when I started applying the principles I learned from Joel! I took on life with more confidence and boldness. How can that be bad? Thanks to applying these principles, I started hearing God speak to me. He even warned me about a fatal car accident to come. I prayed against it, randomly chose a Joel message to listen to, and it was all about people who were supposed to die but didn’t, and later that year, the car accident “almost” happened. The second before it happened, I had total and complete peace knowing God was with me-I trusted whatever He was going to allow to happen. The car basically vaporized and went right through me. The other truck who should have also been hit freaked out and chased the car with his lights flashing that went through us for as long as I could see. I think he must have thought it was an alien or something, but I knew it was a miracle from God! Applying the principles I learned from Joel may have saved my life. He encourages everyone to find a bible based church at the end of every message. He doesn’t proclaim to be the only pastor everyone should listen to. He gives God SO much glory by alllways trusting in Him, no matter what, and encouraging others to do the same. His faith and trust in God, as a good God, is amazing. I’m very thankful for Joel! 🙏🏻

A lot of my friends discount joel's preaching. All I know is that I received the healing from this message. My sister's life changed after attending Lakewood for a year and I don't care what people say. He preaches Jesus , hope , mercy and love and I believe God is all those things.

I was in a car accident in 2018 and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse due to chronic pain. This sickness is still here for 21 months and everyday I’m trying to get better. I’m praying to heal and see a good future. Two weeks ago I applied for the MSN FNP program at five schools. Days ago I found out I got accepted into the MSN FNP Program at Georgetown University! I thought my career was over and didn’t understand what God was trying to do. I was depressed and crying for God’s mercy. Today I feel better. I see part of his plan! I still have pain but it is manageable with physical therapy, pain medications, and massage. I will heal one day. I’m so happy and pray that I pass all my tests in FNP school. I'm glad that I'm spending my times mostly in reading bible, praying and watching inspirational videos of pastor Steven Furtick, Joyce Meyers, pastor Joseph Prince, pastor Joel Osteen. I'm glad that I'm spending most of my time watching Joel Osteen's. I'm getting relieved. God is speaking through Joel Osteen to me. I will get back whatever I have lost. I lost my love whom I've dated 4 years. We completed 4 years this March 27th but she left for Delhi on March 28th along with her two friends without letting me know, to work there but I forgave her even though it hurt me. After few days in Delhi, she broke up with me on April 3rd 2021, it broke my heart to the extent. What is sinister is the contorting of the Gospel message from being God-glorifying first and foremost to self-glorification which is central to every message I've heard from Joel. There's also a strikingly low amount of reference to scripture and the context he quotes from.
Take the description of this video for instance "You may not see it yet, but He's going to work everything out in your favor.
" - the gospel is not about glorifying God to enjoy what God gives us (something this man constantly preaches), but to glorify God and enjoy God forever - not simply because of what he gives us, not with the assumption we will prosper in the way Joel infers often (money, career etc) but because he is God.
Putting the emphasis on self prospering when speaking about worshipping God will not bring about the self-abandonment the bible calls us to.

Peter Kent, I agree with you! I grew up Christian in a southern baptist church. I always followed God. However, my relationship with God and trust in Him dramatically deepened when I started applying the principles I learned from Joel! I took on life with more confidence and boldness. How can that be bad?
Thanks to applying these principles, I started hearing God speak to me. He even warned me about a fatal car accident to come. I prayed against it, randomly chose a Joel message to listen to, and it was all about people who were supposed to die but didn’t, and later that year, the car accident “almost” happened. The second before it happened, I had total and complete peace knowing God was with me-I trusted whatever He was going to allow to happen. The car basically vaporized and went right through me. The other truck who should have also been hit freaked out and chased the car with his lights flashing that went through us for as long as I could see. I think he must have thought it was an alien or something, but I knew it was a miracle from God! Applying the principles I learned from Joel may have saved my life.
He encourages everyone to find a bible based church at the end of every message. He doesn’t proclaim to be the only pastor everyone should listen to.
He gives God SO much glory by alllways trusting in Him, no matter what, and encouraging others to do the same. His faith and trust in God, as a good God, is amazing.

Hi, sometimes I have thought that nothing is working on my life, my mom passed away two months ago, my married is so dry and without any expectation, my financial situation is really bad, I live in Venezuela and to live here is up hill, my husband is an asperger man with explosives moments because on his condition and my daughters are also asperger , some times I have said God it is too much to bear, I don't know how to continue forward, and when I have heard God'word through Pastor Joel is a sensation like you are too thirsty and someone give you a lot of fresh water.

I was in a car accident in 2018 and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse due to chronic pain. This sickness is still here for 21 months and everyday I’m trying to get better. I’m praying to heal and see a good future. Two weeks ago I applied for the MSN FNP program at five schools. Days ago I found out I got accepted into the MSN FNP Program at Georgetown University! I thought my career was over and didn’t understand what God was trying to do. I was depressed and crying for God’s mercy. Today I feel better. I see part of his plan! I still have pain but it is manageable with physical therapy, pain medications, and massage. I will heal one day. I’m so happy and pray that I pass all my tests in FNP school. I want to help many people through God’s grace. God is good! 💜🙏🏼

I'm glad that I'm spending my times mostly in reading bible, praying and watching inspirational videos of pastor Steven Furtick, Joyce Meyers, pastor Joseph Prince, pastor Joel Osteen. I'm glad that I'm spending most of my time watching Joel Osteen's. I'm getting relieved. God is speaking through Joel Osteen to me. I will get back whatever I have lost. I lost my love whom I've dated 4 years. We completed 4 years this March 27th but she left for Delhi on March 28th along with her two friends without letting me know, to work there but I forgave her even though it hurt me. After few days in Delhi, she broke up with me on April 3rd 2021, it broke my heart to the extent. Shattered me but God didn't forsaked me and is comforting me every single day and night and He loves me and because He loves me soooooooooo much, He's speaking to me through many, one being pastor Joel Osteen.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love your sermons Sir Joel Osteen, to the extent. I lost 13 years of a marriage that took a lot of work. I was devastated but now I have been unhappily married for 15 years, it's a blessing. I developed serious health issues basically from one moment to another. Totally unexpected. These last two months since becoming sick it hasn't been easy. I try to be positive of course but it's not easy to get by daily. I stay strong for my kids and my grandkids over everything. I can relate to this message I was in abusive relationships instead of social services to help me fight situations they end up placing my children in foster families ihave change all and now I'm fighting for my kids to come back home...but thank God for everything because iknow at the end his fighting my battle and we shall over come amen
