The team needed a game like this. 15-0 leads to not doing that extra rep in weight room that extra hour of film study. Lack of effort was flat out infectious throughout the team. Barham was caught loafing several times. Don’t matter that you can run a 4.4 40 if your spending the game jogging. You’re better off with a linebacker running a 5 flat but plays with his hair on fire.

I kept hearing how great one CB was and thought "so who is going to stop all the other Texas receivers?" Everyone eligible to catch a pass has good hands for Texas. Not just all the receivers but also all the RBs and Texas has a really good TE themselves as we all saw.
Harbough went all in last year and left a gutted program knowing he was leaving. UM isn't great but y'all are under stating what Texas is and did. And that was about a 50% speed Texas after Q1.

Yes I agree..we just do not have the skill set on offense, as well as poor coaching. It’s almost like the less than average staff is trying to run a type of offensive they do not have the horses for.
They didn't come prepared to play this game on both sides of the ball. We have a long season ahead of us however, it's not over for us yet. One game at a time is all we need to focus on. We will get better and gain confidence as the season progresses
Agree with most everything you said Dennis, only thing I'd say is even if Jim Harbaugh was the coach on that day we still get whooped and It's easy for me to say this after the fact but if we stick with Mullings and Hall we have a better run game, put Dono out wide. The Orji plays are too predictable and just overall there shouldn't be this much of a drop off, it's concerning.

Michigan won the early downs with 4-5 yd gains all day. We had no TFLs outside of Orji runs. Why not just keep hammering away? Also thought Warren settled in and made some nice plays late in the game. The thing where he extends the play and throws a dart short of stepping OOB shows he's a gamer. He'll settle in as the season goes along, just needs help from the WRs and coaches.

Michigan's defense is good but not great. Not enough very good players to go against a great Offensive line, experienced QB and great skill players.
