    I’m taking Quercetin for autoimmune itching, and it stopped it right away. Also I reduced the quantity of food I eat that contain histamine. Thank you for this information, Quercetin is the only thing that stopped the itching which tormented me for years, as nothing else (except Benedryl) worked.

    Some doctors and practitioners are using quercetin as part of a prophylaxis cocktail for covid19. Quercitin+zinc. The idea is that quercetin acts like a zinc ionophore. (Also in the cocktail is NAC, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin C.)

    I started taking Quercetin not too long ago. I get a lot of flushing and really bad redness and stomach bloating and feel short if breathtaking times. I also get hives sometimes. All this and bad GERD. I have had allergy testing done and they told me I’m not allergic to anything. (I had allergies and shots as a kid) My allergist did a whole bunch of fancy tests like mastocytosis etc. The only thing that showed up is I have a slightly elevated ANA and sedrate but borderline. As I don’t take Quercetin every day ( I know i need to be better) when I take it I feel so much better. I feel like I can breathe better. I think it helps whatever I’m allergic too. Sometimes it’s no rhyme or reason. Since I turned 52 last year it got worse I also have chronic vaginal yeast infections that won’t go away. I am also most likely in menopause. I take vitamins and pro biotics. And I’m tired of the diflucan the docs keep putting me on for these yeast infections. Is it possible I have leaky gut? And why do I feel so good after I take the Quercetin? Ty

    Hi can you tell me if this will help with hives? My daughter just started getting hives about 3 months ago. She is almost 9 yr. Young. Thank you

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Adriane, quercetin prevents immune cells from releasing histamines, which are chemicals that cause allergic reactions. Hives are an allergic reaction, so quercetin might help reduce the symptom of hives. However, you should work with your medical doctor on finding the root cause of your daughter's hives. If your daughter takes quercetin, our Relieve + Repair formula (bit.ly/374n0oD) can be dissolved in hot water which would probably be easier for your daughter to take.
      Hope this helps!

      @@DrSusanBrown hi thank you ....my doctor allergist actually was no help to us. He says he is not willing to test her on foods besides the ones we already know she is allergic to which makes no sense! His solution is to have her on Zrytec for the foreseeable future and that is it. He doesn't care about finding out why or how they came so I'm trying to Navigate this on my own! Do you think a stool test could give any information? And what diet would you recommend? She is allergic to wheat, peanut and dairy. But her histamines seem high and she is reacting to many things. I also started Nettles again for past two weeks but she felt weird last night in her chest and I had to give asthma med. So I have this gut feeling maybe she is allergic to the nettles and it made thing worse so I am stopping them today! Thank you for responding to me! Whatever information would be so helpful. 💚🙏💚
