Flight of the Intruder was a movie in the early 90s set during the Vietnam War. The NES game was tied to the movie. I’m pretty sure we had the game growing up. It was an air combat game but I seem to remember liking Top Gun more.
Could have bought all the good games and left the shovelware to Phoenix, that would have made for a good video.

Flight of the Intruder was a movie...between that and Top Gun...one of the first 2 player flight combat games that was actually fun...

For Flight of the Intruder @5:15 it's referring to either the Grumman A-6 Intruder aircraft the Navy used or the movie released under the same name in 1991 (that used the same aircraft). A movie tie-in game. Danny Glover and Willem DaFoe!

Guess you never saw the movie Flight of the Intruder. The Intruder is/was an A-6 bomber that was widely used in the Vietnam war.

Hi RetroRick. I was inspired by your channel and decided to collect and finish all the Zelda, Pokemon, Sonic and Final fantasy games ever released. So I bought a wii for dirt cheap wii (backwards compatible) and I already have the series s (that has xbox, one and 360 games digital) and going for the switch. Do you collect games you wanna play, do you collect for the collections sake, do you go for value or just because it's fun and go from there?

Dear Rick,
I’ve been watching a lot videos on if DK oldies is a scam or not. I feel if you bought a console from them you would be able to give an honest review. Especially that you own a game store that fixes consoles and you also sell online. The videos I have watched have not been Nintendo consoles. It would be interesting if you did a comparison with one of the used Nintendo consoles you sell like nes, snes, and n64 to the one that you bought from them. I’ve also seen good deals on the DK oldies and have wondered if it would be a good website to get games on.
