      @Benny cruz Thank you! It was a lot of work had to put 55 layers of paper on fit into a custom 3.5” mortar

      @@bennycru Yea my dad found a 3.5” hdpe pipe on his job and plugged it with some strong oak wood I had this idea for the last year the hardest part was just finding the mortar and it was about 4 feet high and 1inch thick mortar!

    Wish I could add lift charge to my cakes, some look like they only get 15/20 up. Weak! I want them to be seen at least 3/4 blocks away

    Wonder if you light it without a tube it would just go straight up

    • @pluggedpyro
      @pluggedpyro Рік тому +1

      If it were to be lit without it tube it was just move a foot to the side then explode the lift charge propels the shell up the bore of the mortar in on order to become airborne

      Same just wanted to do something unique that you can’t buy or don’t see anywhere I always see low breaks but I’ve never seen a 3” go the hight of a 12”

    🤔... 150 grams!!.. what about 75 grams and hear a louder BANG!????🤷‍♂️

      @D1 I usually put 15grams of lift charge but anyone can make a low break I got bored of the same thing over and over again and wanted to make something unique I’ve never seen a video of a 3” salute go as high as a 12” shell

    They should put lift charges like this in all the display shells
