Hey rek! Just wanted to say that fortune affects breaking amethyst clusters and you can get 12-24 shards with fortune compared to just 4.
After Raw Ore was added, you can use it on iron and gold just like copper

pro tip: this is a lesser known feature but sometimes when in caves, you can find large copper veins, these are these huge veins of granite and copper, they contain up to 1000 copper ore and even blocks of raw copper.
you can also find large iron veins, although they are rarer and have tuff blocks instead of granite.
Rekrap: “we have 4 obsidian” The Chest: 5 obsidian
You could make the door 2 copper rods next to each other and then you can squeeze through them.

I found two designs that should work for your lightning rod door. One of them has a piston visible beneath the bottom lightning rod but the other one is just like if nothing was there. Just replace the door blocks in the tutorials by lightning rods.

When I was playing with a friend for the first time on the update, we made a copper bloc, and we were trashtalking copper because you can't use it to make weapons and armor, and then, we've seen it becoming more and more green.
Now we love this bloc and we made a totem with it at the top of it.

13:50 Hey parker! You can just make the lightning rod door with a 4x4 space so you can be able to go thought it even without pistons. This is a plus as well because players can go through it but mobs can't. Hope this helps!

When oxidizing copper, they go much faster when they're spaced out (idk the number exactly but I think 4 blocks ish). This is because when they are next to each other they don't oxidize past what the neighbouring blocks are but when spaced out they do.
Edit: I wrote this before I finished the video so I wouldn't forget to lol but then you covered this

Copper Only Oxidises when your loading the chunks, thats why it barley oxidized when you were away,
Also it oxidizes slower the closer together they are
