- This STUNNING royal suite in North Thailand is cheaper than many budget hotels I've seen. Ibis hotels can be great value but can't compare. This amazing hotel will take you back in time through Thai royal history. I stayed at the Shinnabhura Historic Boutique Hotel in Phitsanulok Province and was totally blown away. I know this hotel, it's down the street from Lotus and Global House (my Thai Home Depot). It's a good hotel. It's $180/night on Expedia..
On trip just this past May, we stayed at the Grand Central Point Space in Pattaya. A new hotel with a small Waterpark with a wave pool (my son love this hotel). Near a Terminal 21 mall. That mall has a decent food court also has a night food market below it.
Yes, the prices vary a lot. I would like to try that hotel in pattaya,, the prices have gone up quite a bit since it opened. Looks fun 👍
@@jamesabroad8589 yeah it's crazy. I paid 5,600 baht per night at Grand Center Point. But seeing how happy my son was in that Waterpark was worth it. I think you would like it.... there is a rooftop pool that looks amazing, we weren't allowed with my son.... they do have suites that are $250 and up

Love your videos, James. Keep em coming. Hotel is very charming. Decent price for what I gather is a weeknight and the top room category including breakfast. Visited Philok over 12 years ago - enjoyed it. Would also recommend Sukhothai if you haven't been already - beautiful temples, looks stunning at night when lit up.

Well wife caught me watching my guilty pleasure James abroad. I was surprised when she sat down to watch you she even sat up watching the bath scene. Well James she announced that we will stay in that hotel going to Chiang Rai next month. So now my savings for July will be spent on a hotel 😅. But honestly we pass through that area many times a year and we never stop there. We usually stop for a night in Uttaradit with the psychotic poodle and the missus of course.

The temple has some really nice noodle restaurants down the very back of the market.
Yes, good place to visit and have some food. Also very good mango and sticky rice place near the toy shop LOL

How was it for power sockets as I didn't notice many. Wifi good?
I didn't actually use the WiFi. They had plug sockets on both sides of the bed which isn't common here. there were a few more around the room as well so not too bad for Thailand.👍
Hi James, I ve been travelling in and out on Bkk regularly for the last 17 years, Best I ve found for near Suvanabhumi, was recently on the last trip, Names Divalux. Decent prices and a massive pool and the corner rooms at least are great (not tried the others). Have a look. About 2500 a night. I LL be using it for flights in and out in future unless it gets too expensive/ popular. Free airport transit. Does have alot of Chinese tourists,

I stayed at that hotel in 2019 when I got married, It's absolutely lovely. I was in Bang Rakam and Phitsanulok last week bust just landed back in the USA today 😞. Keep up the good work, We are really enjoying the content.

Prices seem to go up and down daily. Always good to phone the hotel, very happy for that price.👍
