We find out all about our Royal Caribbean suite perks, and check out our private hot tub on our balcony. Then we do a ship tour and check out the unique tidal wave water slide. Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

My sisters and I were lucky enough to stay in the royal suite on the Grandeur. My sister plays the piano and actually brought some of her sheet music so she could play. It was an incredible cruise!
I love that! Neither of us are musically gifted, so we just had to let the piano play itself! Glad you had a great cruise 🚢

I loved that “oh, here’s the fancy bags” and without a beat or pause the husband was like “OK, let’s go downstairs!”

Have stayed in several of these Royal Suites on RCI. They are truly amazing. What is even better, is the service that is provided when you show your key or say "I'm in the Royal..." Things happen. We were even escorted off the ship at debarkation by senior staff, all the way to our waiting curbside transportation. Along the way, the porter kept asking, "Who are you two??" We just smiled.

It's called Studio B, because it is a Television Studio. Along with the ice floor, there is a sliding floor that covers the ice. The original intent of the TV Studio was to hold game shows in there and broadcast them ship wide. However, it's been years since they have done that. The last time I remember seeing one broadcast was in 2007.
Wow so awesome you had the foresight to book so far in advance. We are on Liberty for the first time next month and I am pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and nice this ship looks especially at its age. I think we are gonna love it.

Good job Kerry, you have shared knowledge with Brian and all who Rembrandt is. Love the room and I can see why you prefer Disney Wish vs Liberty's suit, you are artistic and Disney's colours and look would appeal to you more whereas Brian loves elegance and the Royal Suite is definitely elegant.

We’re going to be on this ship next May (thanks for the tour!) ..for nine nights from New Jersey (Bermuda, San Juan, St Maarten and Labadee)…really wish I could’ve afforded THIS but got a really nice deal on an accessible Spacious Oceanview Balcony (which is a still pretty big 560 sq ft)

🔴🔴 Watching this video from Middletown DE 10-01-23 Sunday night. I used to live in Orlando (Altamonte Springs). I tell people that once you get below Port St. Lucie, you can drive just about anywhere with your head lights off. There are so many street lights in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade county's. Not that you should drive with your lights off. It's just that bright. Great job on the video. I'm looking to go on one very soon. 👍👍

Super cool! I would hardly leave the room. Seems like A LOT of extra, nonfunctional space but great for a family. Another bedroom would be nice.

If you haven’t already, try Star Class on Oasis, Quantum (and maybe Icon) class ships. The Royal Genie will make for an unforgettable experience. I know it sounds corny but it truly is freakin’ amazing!
Enjoy this suite!! We were on Oddesy of the seas and our suite had a loft & a Genie. 14 days of pure enjoyment! So spoiled we didn't want to leave.
With a room like this, I sure hope this is a 7 Day cruise... :)
Book a park and go hotel. You can drive and leave your car for the duration of the cruise. They also have a transport van to take you to the port. We live on the west coast of FL and do this for our cruises. We stay the night before we sail. Great cabin...suite. Your butler would unpack for you too.

What an amazing room! I've been searching and searching but I'd love to know what equipment/camera you use to film your videos? We're going to Iceland and Norway in 2024 and the camera you use is great! The camera showed up in some of the mirrors on today's video but I still couldn't make out what it was. It looks too small to be a GoPro. Would love to know.
