I am really late to the party when it comes to JM, but hey...I'm here now. Fantastic artist. I can't stop watching these interviews. Brilliant stuff. Around the 16:15 mark he gets into talking about Television, Marquee Moon. I'd never heard of them/it. Went to listen. WOW! What a band ahead of it's time! You can ABSOLUTELY hear the influence they had to have had on Johnny's playing as well as the influence they must've had on The Call, David Byrne, Franz Ferdinand, Modest Mouse and others - whether directly or indirectly. A band for the late mid-80s to mid-90s that came out just a bit too soon for super stardom.
