All of this bands songs make me feel an emotion I can't explain... it sits between sorrow and joy, and calms my chaotic mind. I sometimes dance and sing along, or cry and sing my heart out. It feels like freedom, and I can't explain why...
It's like a friend to hold your hand when your sad and alone. Or a friend to dance and feel good with. That's what makes it so beautiful :)

I had a friend lose his battle with addiction a few years back three weeks before he was supposed to go to a RKS show. Hardest part about the new songs is wishing he heard em. I know he'd love this one so much, there were many 3ams spent driving around talking with spotify on shuffle waiting for painkillers and free fall to come on.

I’ve been thinking about that single line for a few days.
I know this band makes people feel many undescribable emotions, but I gotta say as a fellow North Carolinian they really capture something I don't feel unless I'm there. This awful mix of pain and undeniable beauty. Facing it raw, noting the comedy in the tragedy, still seeing the beauty and accepting the things we can't change immediately. No other band does that for me. It's not like just a band I listened to there, it IS NC for me.
