I was leaning toward taking my Kickr to the trash and getting a trax.. So annoyed Kickr doesn't sell repair parts when their magnet tape rips and locks up the freewheel. Always had a vibration in my handlebars at high speeds with the Kickr. too.
@wahoofitness how about supporting repairs and help the environment along the way. To throw away a Kickr without repair options is a real shame. Also, how about spare HR monitor straps. A well cared for HR monitor lasts more than 5 years. Can't get them down under. Never too late to make a change!
@@canadiankiwijay they allow an exchange. Something like $250-350 and they will send you a refurbished unit in exchange for your kickr needing repair. Kind of a silly tax when you only need $3 heat tape… or bearings. I would not recommend buying a used trainer because you will not get the warranty.
