And also sue the DOCTOR who took that bribe and make sure his medical license is permanently revoked. A friend in high school got pregnant and the school tried to expel her, we were seniors, her parents went before the school board and told them yes Tracey was pregnant but she was also married, she got pregnant after she got married and they gave the board members copies of her marriage license, she was able to graduate with the rest of us, this was back in 1976

Does this story take place in 1950 or something? Expelling someone for being pregnant is AGAINST THE LAW. I take it that LAWYERS do not exist in the fictional universe of these stories?
This was early 1940s. There was no laws in place to protect pregnant women especially teen moms at that time. This wouldn't change until late 1960s.
