How to Configure TP-Link WR740N As A Repeater | wifi range extender

TP-Link WR740N Repeater Mode (WDS Mode) Configuration.
Repeat Your Existing Wireless Connection Through TP-Link WR740N As A New Wireless Connection which is also known as wifi range extender or wifi signal extender or wireless internet range extender.
This could be also helpful if you want to extend wifi with second router.

Almost failed to setup. Please make sure, our TP Link device channel same with root device (source of wifi) channel. Channel number can found under wireless settings.

No. It works in wireless mode too. I am typing this comment while connected to TP LINK WR740N connected wireless (in WDS mode) to my main router which is Huawei ONT with built in wifi (ground floor). Just follow the steps and it should be easy. Though I don't know why did he give ip 192.168.1.120. What was the need of that?
Secondly, since you have disabled the DHCP server on your bridged router, your devices won't connect automatically and give an error of 'failed to obtain an ip address'. You'd have to, therefore, provide a manual address. For that, you'd have to follow your main router gateway e.g if your main router gateway is 192.168.1.1, you may give ip to your new devices like 192.168.1.2 and so on.

To connect to TP link once again, after you do all this, change IP on your computer to be static, make it 192 168 1 121 , subnet mask is 255 255 255 0, obviously add dots instead of spaces, I can't , UA-cam will delete my comment.
After that just reconnect and now you should be able to access TP link again via 192 168 1 120
