If you followed all tutorial steps and you changed your IP from 192168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10 then you need to connect using HTTP://192.168.0.10 . That's all. If still in trouble, reset the device.

The main router channel should also be set to a fixed one from 1 to 11 or everytime the electricity goes and main router restarts , the channel number changes and you have to do this bridging again and again.

@@thelife8752 set the main router's channel to a fixed one , not auto. You have to access the main router using 192.168.-.- ( as per your main router). In wireless , you will see the channel having auto setting. Change from 1 to 11 , as per your choice. Now u have a fixed channel , which wont change if light goes.

It worked, I tried doing it on tp-link TL-WR850N model modem.
the method is the same the user interface is different from the one shown in the video.
Follow the same rules and it'll work.
SSID I changed it to something else since it's hard to recognize with the same name.

Whatever steps provided worked for me flawlessly on my tplink router. I was able to extend my 2.4 Ghz airtel router to tplink router. Only thing to ensure router disconnects multiple times ensure to connect each time. However was not able to extend 5ghz. To the best of my knowledge my dlink router was 8350 (lazy enough to go and check again)
