What's the point of blocking a host from entering the boss arena if at any moment he can just "pull the plug"? Or simply kick You out of the game with Stat Checker Software in one click. Absolutely pointless waste of time at 46-48 and near that. Equip Avelyn and catch moments when host swings his big stick twice. Roll out of first. If he swings for a second time = shoot immediately. Big weapons means big recovery frames so he cannot roll out. This will catch people with good and no so bad connections.
