The album had lead vocals from Ray Rock (he was also CHA's drummer for the most part) and Harry "Skip" Boardley only so it can't be Ray Reid's. I'm pretty sure it's Ray Rock on lead as he always had a "lighter" voice hitting those higher notes more easily compared to the main lead vocalist of CHA, Phil Thomas. Also If you listen to CHA's "Love Rip Off" recorded around the same time as this you will hear Skip's vocal is just a bit deeper and is different to the vocal here, well to my ears anyway! BTW heads up to the writers Lotti Golden (Lotti G.) and David Scher who were on fire during this time with songs such as Sharon Brown "I Specialize In Love", Charades "Gimme The Funk", The Strikers "Contagious" and Melba Moore "How's Love Been Treating You" among others.
This track has some pedigree. Lead vocals, keyboards and produced by Ray Rock, who was lead vocalist with Crown Heights Affair. Absolutely wonderful.
This is fucking awesome and the mixing on it for 1984 is just beyond greatness
Great sound, great music!

I still have no idea who sang this great song. ray rock ? ray reid? Harry Boardley?
