I live in my van but the AC is broken. However I am also in the army reserve and stay in the woods in a tent for 2 weeks a yr as part of training. I can tell you I’m very grateful to have a van.
He is saving lives - homeless are very vulnerable in a heat wave !
So what she gets a little spoiled by you. How spoiled can you be living on the streets!! Do you people sitting in your recliners in a/c want to take that from her ( or is it other homeless people being jealous). Leave her alone and be happy that he helps as many people as he does. Keep the comments happy and uplifting!!
If each of us would 'spoil' just one person on the street, the world would be a much better place.
She gets spoiled, and she still gets mad at me. LOL
It's because someone is trying to save her life and she acts like a 40 yr old child in return.

If Jessica is seriously considering detox, the hot season would definitely be a good incentive to get there. Enticed with a clean place with air conditioning, a safe place to rest, and meals. I pray that she goes soon.

Michael, the day that you get Jessica into rehab, and she successfully completes and stays clean, I will donate $500 for you to give her to "help" restart her life. Best thing for her is to get away from the deadbeat boyfriend and get off the street. He and others in the homeless communities are enablers.

Given the choice of going to detox or standing on the street corner in 110°, I'd choose detox.
But if you haven't been an addict you wouldn't begin to understand there's no really common sense aka wisdom to addiction risking jail murder rape etc for that high at times ( or that need that the body develops)

I've never commented but have watched most of your videos. I can tell you care so much about Jessica which is fitting since today is Fathers Day, and you are like a Father figure to her in a way, so what if you try to spoil her. You have probably gave her the compassion she needs to carry on at times, as well as the regulars that you visit. Keep on doing what you do, which is to show love and compassion and hopefully empowers others to do good in whatever way they can also. Happy Father's Day and God Bless.

Most of them are so appreciative. You can tell just by their smiles. That’s worth seeing. Those towels are such a great idea. I don’t thank Michael for doing this, glad he does, but God’s going to reward him. More than all of our accolades to him combined. Oh my gosh, hope she does. She still got so much life ahead of her and she’s worth more than what she’s doing.

Just be careful. I appreciate you helping our Arizona community, but I know some people are faking it and I don't want to see someone taken for granted. I live out in SanTan and we sadly have a few panhandlers known in this area. I do genuinely want to help those struggling, but I'm worried people will take me for granted.
